Later into the Night

In a house that was in the middle of town, Ben was playing video games on his flat screen TV as he had his headset plugged in and was working his controller as he was playing Five Nights at Freddy's 1. The room was dark as he was playing the horror game with the atmosphere to go along with it.

Currently, he was on the fourth night as he timed the doors perfectly and lessen the consumption of power so he doesn't die. Outside, the moon brightened in the sky and revealed many bright stars in the sky as the curfew was in place and guards were outside patrolling the street to make sure nobody broke the rules.

Ben: Come on Freddy, stupid bear.

He got comfortable on his beanbag and leaned forward as the brightness of the screen lit up the whole room. He was supposed to be in bed right now but he was breaking his parent's rules to play this game.

Ben moved his character and was checking the cameras to make sure no animatronics were approaching. Nothing was happening before he spotted Chica near his window to the right. He was at 30% power as he kept the right door closed but kept the left one opened.

Ben: Come on, come on, please!

His prayers were answered as the screen turned black and it showed that he has achieved 6:00 AM for the fourth night had ended and he cheered quietly to not wake his parents up.

Ben: Hell yeah!

He dug his hand into some popcorn he had next to him and ate as he prepared for the fifth night as it loaded and the fifth night started. Before he continued to play, he looked at the door to his room and saw no lights were on in the hallway upstairs. The second door to his room was the bathroom but all that was in there was a vent and a toilet plus a shower, his parents also had access to the same bathroom so that was another way they could enter his room but he kept both doors locked.

Ben: Alright let's do this.

He moved his controller to shift the camera but nothing happened as he repeatedly kept on moving it but nothing happened as he slammed the controller into his hand but it still didn't work.

Ben: The hell, I just put batteries in this thing.

Suddenly his TV screen glitched and went dark before it came back on but this time instead of being in the Pizzeria... it was showing him in his room.

Ben: The fuck.

He turned around and saw that the camera that was in his room was on even though he always turned it off before he played video games at night. He looked back at the TV and toggled his controls and the camera moved left to right, shifting from his bathroom to his main entrance door.

He switched cameras to the one that was in the right hall outside his room and the night vision switched on as it revealed darkness at the end of the hallway. Switching again, it was the same result for the camera in the left hallway. Then he switched to camera in the living room then the kitchen and finally the front door.

Ben: What the fuck is happening?

He went to unplug his TV but then he heard a sound from outside and he peeped through his window but didn't see anything. He looked back at his TV and looked through the cameras until he froze on the one looking at the front door.

Next to the door was a window and there was something there, watching the camera, its glowing white eyes were reflecting from the nightvision on the camera. The camera view glitched before they were gone.

Ben was hyperventilating as he went to his options and tried to log off but it wasn't working, there was an option to turn on the sound feature for each camera and he turned it on before returning to looking at the cameras.

He checked the front door camera but didn't see anything in the window as toggled to the Kitchen camera. Nothing was in the window there either so he switched to the living room camera just in time to see a hulking shadow zip by the window.

Ben: Wh-what is th-that?

He switched back to the front door camera but saw nothing then checked the hallway cameras and saw nothing. Switching back to the Kitchen camera, he saw that the window was opened a little bit as wind blew the curtains a little bit... something opened his window.

Ben immediately switched back tot he front door camera but to his horror, the camera was glitching and he couldn't see anything. Checking the living room, he returned to the front door camera but now it was a black screen but the audio was still on so he turned the volume up and paled when he heard the doorknob being fiddled with.

The sounds continued before it went quiet and a option suddenly appeared on his screen and asked him to reboot the camera.

Ben: Reboot please, reboot!

The camera loaded and loaded until it finally reappeared and Ben felt like passing out because the front door... was opened and there were scratch marks on the floor. He wanted to go to his parents but they were in the left hallway and since that...thing was in here, he couldn't risk it.

He checked the living room camera and saw nothing before shifting to his hallway camera and froze in fear. Glowing white eyes were looking at the camera as he can see that the thing was massive as it was hunched over but then the camera glitched and it disappeared.

Ben immediately check the other hallway and saw that it was clear so he switched to the kitchen and saw nothing. He was about to switch the camera again but then he saw the creature crawling on all fours, it had a caribou face with large teeth and antlers with its glowing eyes. Its massive stature was crawling around the kitchen before it raised its head and Ben heard it sniffing.

It moved towards the kitchen counter and Ben paled when he realised it was sniffing the popcorn machine that he used to make his popcorn that was right next to him.

Ben: Fuck.

The creature immediately turned towards the camera and Ben's breathing was getting choked in his throat when he realised that the microphone was on and immediately switched it off but it was too late as the creature rushed out of view and towards the stairs.

Switching to the hallway camera, he saw nothing was there but in his ears, the creature growled as it crawled around the house but Ben couldn't see it on any of the cameras as he heard the noise all over the place and it was driving him mad.

Ben: P-please g-god, h-help me.

He kept switching the cameras and nothing was happening as he switched back to the front door camera and saw that the door was now closed and the noises have now stopped which made Ben sigh in relief.

He switched to his hallway camera and froze in horror as the creature was standing right outside his door and its head was looking at the camera. Ben looked at his door and saw that there was a dark silhouette right outside it. The doorknob was shaking and Ben remembered that he locked the door.

The camera glitched and then it returned to normal but the monster wasn't there anymore as he checked the other hallway and saw that the monster was rushing towards the camera and opened the bathroom door and Ben screamed loudly when the bathroom door to his room opened to reveal... his mom, with a belt.

Ben's Mom: You... are in so much trouble mister!

His main door opened to reveal his dad with the keys in his hands and he had a mad look on his face.

Ben's Dad: You got a lot of nerve to use the cameras to hide your little games.

Ben: N-no, there was this cr-

He looked back at the TV and saw that it was back on his FNAF game as his parents closed in on him, Ben saw those same glowing eyes of the creature in the left corridor of the game instead of Freddy's before his parents jumped him and Freddy killed the player.

Later that Night

Hannah was in her room and she was laying in her bed in an oversized white shirt as she looked at the ceiling that had a ceiling fan turning and turning. She took a peek at her phone but saw nothing from Tyler and she was worried about him.

Hannah: I wonder what actually made him feel spooked.

She then got her phone and went to Travis's contact and pressed the call button as she waited for him to pick up his phone. It rang for about ten seconds before he answered and he sounded spooked out.

Travis: I SAW IT, I SAW THE MONSTER!!!

Hannah: Whoa, whoa! Calm down, what happened?

Travis: It was hunting me in my room and then it was in my house and it tried to kill me but it was actually my dad, I thought I was going crazy but then it was outside of my window in the woods, just standing there!!!

Hannah: What did it look like?!

Travis: It was massive! It had a caribou-like face and walked on two legs, it was making weird noises and I felt like I was loosing my mind!

Hannah: Did you call Ben?

Travis: Yeah and he saw it too! He was playing his FNAF game when the creature switched it to his house cameras and was trying to kill him too!

Hannah: It could be after Tyler next!

Travis: Meet me and Ben in front of Tyler's house in ten minutes!!

Hannah: He may not have ten minutes!!!

She got up and put on a coat and jeans since it was cold tonight before grabbing a flashlight and she went into her closet and grabbed a stack of rope she had and tossed it out her window before climbing down and turning her flashlight on.

When being outside at night, things were completely different as there was no one out here and there was an unusual amount of fog in the area tonight. She ran behind the houses for cover just in case the nightguard was out on the street as she closed the distance to Tyler's house.

As she closed the distance, she heard strange sounds coming from the woods, strange elk sounds as they got creepier and creepier as time passed by.

Hannah looked around crazily as the sounds were resonating deep in her skull but she kept on going until she froze as she saw something standing about 100ft away from her. A tall creature with antlers was in her way and its pinprick red eyes were staring into her soul as she blinked than the creature was right in front of her and towered over her as it opened its mouth and she screamed into the night.

A hand was on her shoulders as she opened her eyes and saw Travis in front of her looking at her with scared look in his eyes.

Travis: Its me! Its me, Hannah!

Hannah: B-but the c-creature.

Travis: I know, its like its there but... its not.

Hannah: But...how? What the fuck was that thing?!

Travis: I don't know but we need to get to Tyler, Ben's parents grounded him.

The two of them began to run down the street and passed many houses down the street as the street lamps provided the only clear light to see what else was on the road as they approached Tyler's house and every light in there was off which meant everyone was asleep.

Travis: Come on!

He ran to knock on the front door but Hannah stopped him and pointed to the side of the house, he looked and saw that the basement entrance was ripped open as massive footprints trailed in the snow and led down in to the basement.

Hannah: No...

Travis: Come on! We have to get to him!

Before they moved, a flashlight was shining at there backs and a voice yelled at them which made them jump and turn around.

Night Guard: What are you kids doing out here?!

Travis: That weird creature is going to kill our friend!

Night Guard: Where?!

Hannah: It went in the basement, look at the footprints!

Night Guard: What footprints?!

They both looked in the snow and saw that trail has disappeared and the basement doors were neatly locked.... Like nothing happened.

Hannah: B-but.

Night Guard: If you're my legs with this, you're going straight to jail because this isn't something to joke about!!!

Travis: It was right here.

Night Guard: How about this, you two squander back to whatever hellhole you crawled out of and stay there....what the hell?!

Hannah and Travis looked at the Night Guard who was looking at something in the distance and it was tall and approaching them from the darkness.

Travis: See! That's the creature!!!

The shadow stepped into the light and Travis paled because....it was his dad.

Travis's Dad: Son, what the hell are you doing out here?!

Travis: I'm....I'm h-

Night Guard: Greetings Mr Simmons and Mr and Mrs Libson.

Hannah turned around and saw that her parents were out here and they were glaring at her as they walked towards her.

Hannah's Mom: Have you lost your mind?!

Hannah's Dad: You had us worried!!!

Hannah: But mom, dad, we wanted to check on Tyler!

Night Guard: Can't you see every light in that house is off? They all need rest like get that through your thick skulls!

Travis's Dad: Why couldn't this wait until tomorrow? Why break curfew for this?

Both kids wanted to tell them about the monster but they couldn't say anything as the adults wouldn't believe them.

Night Guard: And you kids have the nerve to play a prank on the boy using the monster.

Hannah's Dad: Are you trying to give the boy a heart attack, Hannah?!

Hannah: N-no bu-

Hannah's Mom: Enough! We're going home! And good night to both of you.

They took Hannah home while Mr Simmons took his son home as the Night Guard sighed and shook his head before looking at Tyler's house and looked at the side.

Night Guard: Delusional ass kids.

He kept on walking but didn't notice a shadow creeping towards him from the side of Tyler's house. He heard footsteps behind him and turned around to see a caribou horror face looking at before it opened its mouth and chomped down on him before he could scream.
