-6- Only One

Hey guys The link above is the routine Sebastian and Skye did for the competition. This was actually at the winter Olympics last year, and it's pretty awesome. It's kinda glitchy, but it's pretty cool.

I put my hair in a braided bun, and walked out of the changing rooms.

I saw Sebastian standing there still in his suit.

"Are you going to wear that?"

I asked.

"Yes, and you look very beautiful Alina."

I smiled.

"Thank you."

I walked away from Sebastian, and sat on a bench.

I laced on my skates.

"Good luck Alina I hope you win, and I know you will."

I looked over and I saw Akin sitting next to me.

"Thanks Akin."

"You're skating with Sebastian aren't you. Remember you only have one month."

I looked at him.

"One month!"

He smiled, and kissed my forehead.

"Good luck my angel."

He disappeared and I sighed.

"Are you ready my dear we have to watch the other competitors to see what they do."

Sebastian said

I smiled.

"Okay."

He led me over to a bench closer to the frozen lake, and we watched the other ice skaters being judged on.

When it was finally our turn I froze.

He held out his gloved hand, and I took it.

"Sebastian why are you wearing your gloves? Your grip could slip up."

He smirked.

"Don't worry my dear you'll be fine."

I gave him a look.

"Don't call me dear. I'm not your "Dear"."

He chuckled.

"Okay, Alina."

We both stepped onto the ice.

"You have to go pretty fast to catch up with me."

Said Sebastian.

I smirked.

"I think it's the other way around."

~After the performance~

The right at end I was out of breath.

I looked down at Sebastian, and he was smiling.

He stood up and smiled.

"Magnificent job Alina, I pretty sure we had this competition in our hands from the first minute we were on the ice."

I looked at him with a look.

"Are you really that sure of yourself?"

He looked at me.

"I'm pretty sure."

I smiled and looked over at the judges.

A man dressed in white with light blonde hair stood up.

"This performance was as graceful as a gazelle! You both skated as if you were molded into one! It is destiny for you to meet like twas me and my young robin!"

I shuddered.

Young robin?

The man clasped his hands together.

"The results are in, and the man and the lovely Alina have won!"

I smiled, and headed over to the side to claim our trophy.

I unlaced my skates and walked over to the man holding it.

"Hello I'm the Viscount Druitt, or you can call me Aleistor Chamber."

Before he gave it to me he set it down and grabbed something out of his coat pocket.

He held out three letters.

"These are for you, the young earl, his butler, and whoever else you want to bring!"

I looked at him.

"Really you're going to invite me? To something like this?"

He nodded.

"Of course! It would be lovely to see you there, Alina."

I smiled and I walked away with the trophy, and went over to Sebastian.

"The Viscount invited us to something."

Sebastian raised an eyebrow.

"Did he?"

I set the trophy on the bench, and handed him the envelopes.

"Hmm."

He showed Ciel the envelopes, and Ciel started to whisper in Sebastian's ear.

Hmm

I felt a tug on my costume and I saw May and Tim.

I almost forgot about them too.

"Come on it's time to take you guys home."

Sebastian stepped in front of me.

"We will take them back to their residence, and we will come back for you."

I shook my head.

"I'll walk home."

I said, and Sebastian shook his head.

"You can't walk alone it's not safe!"

Finny and the others stood next to me.

"We'll walk with her Mister Sebastian!"

He smiled.

"Okay we will take the children home then."

I watched as Sebastian helped the children and Ciel into the carriage and trot away.

I put on my jacket, and we walked back to the manor.

We were walking down the path talking about random things.

"What did you guys do before you came here."

It was silent.

"Well I was a test subject in a lab, and they wanted to make me stronger... They poked me with needles, when one day I just stood up for myself and escaped. Sebastian found me and got me a job at the manor."

He pushed his hat down and showed me the numbers tattooed on the back of his neck.

I frowned.

"I'm sorry about that."

He smiled.

"You don't have to be sorry it wasn't your fault. I get to go outside every day, and I get to be...me."

I smiled and hugged Finny.

"I'm just glad you're here."

He giggled.

"Me too."

I looked over at Bard.

"Well I was always more aware of things ya know, so Sebastian found me and told me when things get hairy, take charge."

I looked at him.

"That sounds hard."

I gave him a hug he seemed surprised, but he hugged me back.

Mey Rin lifted up her glasses.

Her brown eyes were beautiful brown pools, but her pupils were bigger than most eyes.

"I can see things very close up from very far away, and I can use a gun very well in order to protect this mansion. I have to wear these glasses to worsen my hearing because I don't want to expose my secret."

She lowered her glasses back onto her eyes.

I smiled.

"I lived on a farm before I came here, with my parents. I also had a older brother named Akin, but he moved away."

It was silent once again.

"You guys have all these amazing talents. I can't do much."

Bard laughed.

"That excising stuff you do, and the back flips and jumps you do are amazing."

Mey Rin giggled.

"Your very charming!"

"And beautiful unlike any flower!"

Finny exclaimed.

He instantly blushed beet red, and I blushed too.

"Awe Finny thank you! I can do one other thing."

The gasped.

"Please show us!"

I smiled.

"You must promise not to tell anyone, not even our master...okay?"

They nodded.

"One thing when I change back you need to turn around."

Finny looked confused.

I turned into a cat, and they all had on cute expressions.

Finny jumped up and down.

"AWE ALINA YOU LOOK SO CUTE!!!"

I purred.

Mey Rin scooped me up, and started to pet me.

I started making noises.

Mey Rin set me down.

They were staring at me intently.

"Oh right!"

They turned around.

"Finny can you cover Bard's eyes?"

Said Mey Rin.

Bard sighed and Finny covered his eyes, and shut his own.

"It's not like I was going to look anyway...what about Finny?"

I snickered while slipping my costume back on.

"Finny is too innocent."

"What?"

I laughed.

"You can look now."

They turned around as I was buttoning up my coat.

"Alina that's amazing!"

Said Bard.

"You should share it with the world!"

I turned away.

"I can't...I'm scared."

Mey Rin put her hand on my shoulder.

"Can you tell us why?"

I nodded.

"Something like this would be called witchcraft, and I would be burned if I told anyone. The only person I trusted was Akin, and I don't even know if I can anymore."
