-4- Misunderstanding

"What?"

He looked at me.

"I never was human. I was pretending to be because I didn't want you to know the truth."

He pulled off his gloves and it revealed a green star with symbols and markings.

I scooted up against the wall.

He sighed.

"I am a demon, I was different from you at birth. You would never know if you were demon or not until you were nineteen, our parents cast me away when I came of age. When you were eight you were put under a nasty spell, and your memories disappeared."

Tears formed in my eyes.

"How is that possible! I have memories from then!"

"I implanted memories that you had, but I altered them so you wouldn't know the truth."

I ran into his arms.

"I'm just glad your okay."

He nodded.

"There are two ways you can become a demon Alina, and you must be careful. If a demon wanted to he or she could turn you into one, you must be wary of people you meet okay. And the other is birth. The average age to show if your a demon is nineteen. . ."

I frowned.

"I heard that you live in Phantomhive manor, and I need you to do something for me. You know who Sebastian Michaelis don't you?"

"Yes why?"

"He seems fishy don't you think? I need information what is his weaknesses."

"Akin that's rude."

He looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Please?"

"If you give me all the children you still have I will."

He nodded.

"I never killed them, it was fake."

I sighed.

"Thank goodness Akin. I knew you would never be able to do it."

He looked at my chest, and he looked surprised.

"You kept the locket!"

I nodded.

"I would never sell it or lose it."

He smiled, and took me to the kids. He let them out, and the instantly hid behind me.

I led them outside and it had gotten dark. The only thing that illuminated light was the eerie street lamps.

"Which one of you is Timothy?"

I saw a little boy walk up to me.

"That's me miss! But please call me Tim!"

I smiled.

"Tim grab my hand. I will personally take you home myself."

The children followed me to the police station.

When I walked inside the building and yelled.

"I found the kidnapped children they are alive!"

The Yard looked at me in surprise and they ran up to me asking questions.

They also went up to the little ones.

The way the kids responded brought tears to my eyes.

"The wonderful lady saved me!"

"She's an angel brought from heaven!"

"If it wasn't for her I would be dead meat."

That last one made me laugh a bit.

I heard bells ringing, and letters were sent out.

I answered questions, but when they asked about who he was or what he looked like I threw them off.

I don't want to lose Akin again

I saw a particular article that made me widen my eyes.

Woman kidnapped, and clothes strewn in carriage!

A woman was kidnapped today and her dress was thrown in carriage. If you see a woman in distress then please report.

Oh that must be me then.

"Tim we have to take you home."

He nodded and I headed out into the cold night.

I held Tim's hand all the way talking to him about me taking him and his sister ice skating.

I reached his house and knocked on the door.

The door swung open and Anita instantly moved her eyes to Tim's.

"TIM IS IT YOU!?"

She hugged him, and May came running down the stairs joining in.

"Alina, please join in."

I smiled and hugged all of them.

"You are an angel my dear. You may come by anytime, and please visit for holiday."

I waved goodbye and headed back to the yard, because I needed a ride home.

I entered and I saw Sebastian and Ciel talking to the lead detective.

"Who is this woman that returned the children?"

The detective looked over at me.

"This is the woman that saved my daughter, and everyone else from a madman."

They looked over at me and their eyes widen.

"Alina?"

I nodded.

"I was kidnapped, and I was able to save the children."

Sebastian walked over to me and started inspecting me.

"Are you alright? Did, something happen."

It took me a moment.

"Oh! No nothing like that happened I just changed."

I could see the relief on their faces.

"Britain is forever in your debt."

Said Ciel bowing his head.

"I'll say you can have my job I was planning on retiring anyway."

The lead detective said.

I blushed.

"I can't possibly-"

"You'll start in two weeks time my dear!"

I sighed.

"Okay then we must get...back...to...to."

I fell over falling asleep exhausted.

-----

I saw the young girl again she looked so young and frail now that I looked closely.

I could not see her face because of the helm she wore.

Her wings glistened in a golden rainbow color unlike the other angel's wings.

I saw the demons on the other side gnashing their sharp teeth.

I saw them crash into each other.

Light

And

Darkness

I saw lifeless bodies crash to the ground.

I looked over and saw Akin.

He had black horns sprouted from his head, and dark black wings.

He was just standing there looking ahead.

How could you

-----

I woke up and I felt like I was being carried by someone.

I peak my eyes open, and I see Sebastian carrying me to my room.

I still pretended to be asleep.

Sebastian laid me on the bed, and I felt something touch my forehead.

I cracked my eyes open for a second.

He kissed my forehead, and he blushed.

He walked out and shut the door behind him.

I blushed, and then turned into a cat.

I walked out of the room catching Sebastian right before he left the hallway.

"Mew!"

He turned around.

"Oh Crystallia I thought you had left me!"

He swooped me up and carried me into the lounge.

He sat on the chair in the dark room holding me on his lap.

"Crystallia."

I looked up.

He started to pet my fur.

"Your fur is so beautiful. I thought black cats were cute, just look at you!"

I purred.

"Hmm your not a normal cat are you."

I shook my head.

"Hmm well Crystallia, I..."

He drifted off, his mind in another place.

I smiled.

"Goodnight."

I hopped off his lap, and scurried into my room.

I fell asleep right when my head hit the pillow.
