I was up almost all night and when I finished it was about four in the morning, so I looked outside and it was snowing faintly.

"Oh I'm so excited!"

I hopped into bed and snuggled Humphrey, and shut my eyes. I woke up at six-thirty and got dressed in warm clothes after seeing the servants playing outside.

"Hey guys!"

The air nipped my nose, and I tied my woolly scarf around my neck.

"Hi Skye! Isn't it beautiful?"

Finny says a snowflake landing on his nose.

Mey Rin squeals and clasps her hands together.

"EEE! Finny you're so precious!"

I smiled, as Finny laughed along with Bard.

"Hey Skye do you want to snowball fight?"

Mey Rin asks and Bard raises his eyebrows.

"She'll kill us!"

I smiled and laughed.

"Don't worry I won't use all my powers on you."

They knew I was a demon, because I plainly told them. I trust them, and they trust me, and the treat me the same.

"Don't worry, I won't use my awesome strength against you, Mey Rin come on my team it's boys against girls."

Mey Rin started helping me make the Snow Fort, and ours was better than Bard's and Finny's. I jumped up.

"Sanctuary!"

I yelped and ducked back down as a snowball whizzed past me. It was still snowing when Sebastian came outside.

"Mey Rin nooo!"

Mey Rin got pelted by Bard and she played dead. I looked up and saw Sebastian smirking.

Hi Sebastian!"

Sebastian was walking down the steps lowering his head.

"Merry Christma-AHHH!!"

I dodged a snowball that came right at me, and hurled one right back.

"What are Earth are you doing Mey Rin?"

Mey Rin just laid in the snow.

"I took a snowball to the face, I did."

I shook my head.

"Snowball war is pretty intense Sebastian."

He walked up to me and I stood up looking him straight in the eye. I wasn't paying attention, when Finny's snowball hit me in the back. I fell into Sebastian and fell on the ground, when I took a glimpse at Sebastian he had a bored look on his face.

"Sebastian avenge me..."

I stuck out my tongue and snowflakes melted on my tongue as soon as they landed.

I felt Sebastian pick me up, and he was surprisingly warm. I cracked my eyes open and watched as snowflakes landed in Sebastian's hair.

I closed my eyes and felt a tingle inside.

Damn he's killing me

"Everyone get inside, it's not good to be out here for very long"

I felt Sebastian start walking and the warm feeling of the manor whooshed over me. I felt him set me down, and I opened my eyes.

"It looks like you didn't leave us after all."

I smiled.

"I guess so, is Ciel awake?"

"I was about to wake him up, but the commotion beat me to it. "

I felt bad.

"Sorry."

He sat down next to me and gave me a light smile.

"You just made my job easier, that's all."

I sighed in relief.

"Merry Christmas Sebastian."

He smiled.

"Thank you my dear, and a Merry Christmas to you."

I pulled my legs to my chest.

"What's on the agenda for the day?"

He turns and looks at the fire.

"Well the young Lord plans on making another play for the orphans, because they liked it so much."

I smiled.

"What play is it?"

"It's a Christmas twist with Romeo and Juliet."

I smiled.

"That sounds like fun, when are we starting the practices?"

"Today."

I shook my head.

"Short notice, when are we going to hand out presents?"

He chuckles at my child-like behavior.

"It's a Phantomhive tradition to hand out presents at night."

I shrugged off the weird tradition.

Sebastian, Ciel, Mey Rin, Bard, Lizzie, and others gathered in the room for the auditions. I noticed Lau was here as well and thought I should say hello later. Sebastian sat the piano, wearing his funky glasses that made me laugh.

"Mey Rin is it just me or does Sebastian look old with those glasses?"

Mey Rin snickered, and Sebastian looked over at us making us stop laughing.

"As you know Romeo and Juliet is a heartbreaking story of love and death."

I shook my head.

Way to ruin the Christmas spirit

"The actors selected for the roles must make this believable and actually know the story."

The door opened and out came Grell.

"I think I would be perfect for- Skye?!"

Grell jumped over and clung to my arm.

"Are you trying out for juliet? Because I'll be Romeo just for you if I have-"

I pushed Grell off of me.

"Leave me alone. We're about to warm up."

Sebastian plays a couple notes on the piano, and everyone but me sings them.

My ears have died

I sigh.

"Okay that wasn't very good, now let's sing the scale."

Sebastian says truthfully, and everyone sang to scale up and down and it was painfully excruciating.

"Now who is trying out for Juliet?"

Mey Rin, Lizzie, Grell, and I raised our hands.

"Grell you can't-"

He smiles.

"I'm trying out for both parts dearie!"

I sighed.

Mey Rin went first, and she was good at the acting, but she didn't do very good on the singing part.

Mey Rin I love ya, but I'm gonna be honest that wasn't very good

Grell went next, and I gotta say it wasn't that bad but he winked at me in the end and I wanted to throw up. Lizzie was a little too energetic to play a role like this one. It was finally my turn and I took a deep breath, and dug inside my head for a song to sing. I found one, a song that had so much emotion too it that I remember as a young child.

After I finished I felt eyes glued to me. Grell jumped over to me with heart eyes.

"That was amazing Skye!"

I looked over at Sebastian and even he was at a loss for words.

"I'm not done yet, I have to do the acting portion."

Everyone nodded as I reached down deeper.

"Oh Romeo, where art thou? My heart yearns for yours, it calls for your touch, and your captivating smile."

I walked over to Grell and started to cry.

"Oh Romeo-"

I caressed Grell's cheek and he swooned.

"How I wish we could be together, but my father burdens us to be as one."

I grab my hand and Grell whips me around, bends on one knee, and grabs my hand.

"My dear Juliet we could leave together and your father may never find us."

I looked away and cried, fakely of course.

"I do not wish to hurt my father in that way, my dear Romeo."

Grell stands back up.

"Very well, but before I go may I have a kiss?"

Everyone started to clap and Ciel stood up.

"It's obvious, Grell and Skye will be our Romeo and Juliet."

Sebastian stood up.

"Excuse me?"

Ciel looked at Sebastian.

"Do you have a problem with that Sebastian?"

Sebastian sat back down.

"Sebastian you will be the understudy, now get your things together and let's be off."

Even with Sebastian's head lowered I could see his troublesome grin.
