Shortly after I walked into my room. Realizing I was still in my nightclothes I sighed and changed into a simple blue sundress, and slipped on my white flats. Not having much else to do I rummaged through my suitcase and found some purple nail polish. I sighed and started painting my nails, I was surprised because five minutes later they dried and they flash a bright purple. 

Hmm

I study my nails intently the glittering sunlight dances on them. 

"This is most unusual."

I quickly blow on them making sure they were dry, and I started sing softly.

"Honey, you're familiar like my mirror years ago idealism sits in prison, chivalry fell on it's sword-"

I heard horses and I jumped up flinging myself down the stairs, and hope he doesn't think anything bad happened to me. I ran outside and I saw Finny walking from the woods crying.

"Finny!"

He looked around and saw me and started running to me and so did I. I jumped into his arms and he lifted me up and swung me around from under my arms. My dress swished and we both started laughing. He lowered me to the ground and his face inched closer to mine, and he kissed me again. There was just one factor that changed.

I kissed him back.

His lips were soft and smooth. He broke the kiss and kissed my forehead.

"I missed you so much I thought something terrible happened!"

I hugged him tight.

"It's okay I'm here Finny."

He sighed and hugged me back.

"Why don't we go into town?"

My eyes light up.

"That would be amazing! You could show me around a bit more!"

He flashed an adorable grin.

"That would be great, but hold on I need to change."

I sat down on the steps waiting for Finny, but something caught my eye. I walked to it and saw a tiny gleaming golden flower.

"Ooh!"

I sat down next to it and sighed.

I maybe I can help it grow a bit

I took in a breath and  tap the flower, and it started to grow bigger and bigger. I back away panicking.

"NO! NO! This is completely getting out of hand!"

It grew twenty feet tall and I squeaked.

"A-Alina? Did you do that?"

I turn around and Finny was standing behind me.

"Uh...yes?"

He smiled.

"YOU NEED TO TEACH ME HOW!!!"

I smiled in relief.

"I will when we get back."

He smiled and grabbed my hand pulling me along.

We arrived at London and he started showing me different places, like a little store with little stuffed animals.

"AWE!!! This one's so cute!"

He pointed at an elephant.

"I forgot what their called, but I saw them once!"

He smiled and turned away looking at other toys. I grabbed the elephant and bought it, his seventeenth is tomorrow and I wanted to get him a present. I figured I could get my Christmas shopping in now, so I got everyone presents including Humphrey. We started to get hungry, so we stopped at a small deli. I ordered us turkey sandwiches, and they were delicious. After we ate we passed the zoo.

"AHH I LOVE THIS PLACE COME ON!"

Before we left I picked up a newspaper and my bag full of stuff.

       NEW DETECTIVE STRIKES CRIMINAL OFF THE LIST 12/14/1905

I sighed and set it back down and followed Finny to the zoo.

"Oooh I love this animal it's so pretty, but I don't know what it's called."

I looked down into the den and saw a orange tiger clad with black stripes pacing back and forth.

"It's a tiger."

Finny's eyes light up.

"OOO!"

I giggled.

The tiger looked me in the eyes then growled hopping out of his den. I shriek and Finny looks my way, and his eyes widen. The tiger pounces on me and it snaps it's jaws, I was pushing it back as hard as I could.

"FINNY HELP ME!!"

I hear a roar and the tiger was lifted off of me by Finny and thrown into the den. I look at Finny who had bleeding scratches on his face.

I stand up and run from Finny, but I instantly regretted it. 

I didn't know he would be that strong

I hid behind a pillar and I heard the screams of people as carts and horses spiral out of control. I watch as Finny just stands there in the middle of the street tears crawling down his cheeks. I saw him mouth.

They always leave in the end

I cried, as I saw a carriage about to run over Finny. I ran over and pushed Finny out of the way. I was too slow and the carriage smashed into me. Finny was launched back I heard Finny scream though the dust.

"ALINA!"

I felt a hot sticky liquid oozing out of me, which I recognized as blood. I was scooped into someone's arms and I felt something wet sprinkle onto my face. 

"Please I finally found someone strong like I am. Please please don't leave me I need you!"

I slowly opened my eyes and was Finny carrying me and his tears dripped down his face onto mine.

"I-I'm okay."

He hugged me close.

"You saved me...finally someone strong like me."

The dust cleared and I saw townsfolk looking at us gasping. I tried to stand up but I leaned on Finny's shoulder. Cheers erupted the crowd.

"The detective hasn't even started yet, and she saves lives!"

I smiled and I collapsed into Finny unable to move. My eyes started close.

"Alina."

I opened my eyes and I was laid out on a bed. I stood up and I got off the bed, and the bed crumpled into nothing. I was surrounded in black, and I watched as a tall figure approached me in the shadows. A light shone on the stranger and his glasses gleamed, and his slick black hair was shining.

"Who are you."

He adjusts his glasses.

"Claude Faustus."

I squinted.

"Do I-"

"Yes you do know me, but of something else...Raven was it?"

I gasped.

"Is it really you?"

He smiled, and I put on a smug face.

 "Prove it."

He put his finger on his temple.

"Ah I remember when Akin built that thing and you crashed it into a tree."

I gasped in amazement and ran into his arms.

"Raven I missed you so much."

He smiled and hugged me back.

"Please just call me Claude, and I heard about you changing."

I frowned and backed away.

"It's okay, can you please show me yours?"

I nodded and swiped my hand across my left and the mark appeared. He took off his glove showing his mark.

"As you now know I am also a demon. Are you in the presence of another demon?"

"Sebastian Michaelis."

He scoffed.

"You need to be wary of him my dear."

I looked at him confused.

"But why?"

He frowned, and put his hands on my shoulders.

"He's evil, and you need to stay away."

I sighed.

"Ok R-Claude."

He smiled.

"I must go you won't be asleep much longer."

He started to walk off, but I grabbed his hand.

"Claude will you promise to visit me in secret?"

He looked at me his glasses shining.

"Of course my dear, you've grown to be so beautiful."

His cold hand caressed my cheek.

I woke up on my bed and Finny was sitting on a chair next to me asleep. I smiled and I sat up and hugged him. He woke up, and he smiled.

"ALINA! YOU'RE OKAY!!"

He squeezed me in a huge hug.

"Why don't we help you be a better gardener."

His eyes light like beacons.

Claude told me to stay away from Sebastian, but how could that possibly happen?
