The group had to say, the spire looked even more eerie up close.

"I know, it's unsettling to you guys but it's work of art for me." J said with a grin.

"Um, if I can ask a question." Lizzy said, looking to J. "WHY would you make this thing?"

"... Because we die in the sun?" J said, as if everyone knew that, "This is our home."

"But I don't." Uzi said.

"That's because you were downloaded into a worker drone body." J said to her niece, "That's one of the advantages you have. Though it also makes you weak and vulnerable compared to a Disassembly Drone's body... come on, let's get inside."

Though unsure, Thad pulled the bus up to the spire and parked as everyone got out. J moved especially quick to prevent herself from getting hit by the rising sun. Once inside, she called out.

"V, N, come here and say hi to your kid!"

Uzi took about three steps inside before she was lifted off the ground and pulled into a hug.

"Oh, I can't believe how big my little pill baby has gotten!" V said.

"P-Pill baby?!" Uzi asked, looking down at the second female murder drone. "M-Mom?"

"The one and only. Well, first before Nori, but it still counts!" V said as she looked to the side. "N! Hurry up!"

"I'm coming! Just needed to freshen up!" N shouted.

J rolled her eyes.

"That idiot manage to reproduce before me." J mumbled, "If mom was here she'd be thrilled."

"Okay, J, try not to ruin the moment with your jealousy." V said, setting Uzi down.

"Well sorry, but N was Tessa's favorite!" J said.

V shook her head, before looking at Uzi.

"Yeah, that's your dad's sister." V said, "She and N were made in the same factory on the same day with the same serial number."

"Who's this... Tessa... she mentioned?" Uzi asked.

V got a sad look.

"That was the person that saved us. N and J were taken in by her when they needed it and they... basically saw her as a mother." V said, "But... she's gone... it was part of the reason we gave you up to Nori and Khan, so that what happened to her wouldn't happen to you."

"What... did happen?"

V was about to say something, when Uzi was lifted up and hugged again.

"Biscuit!" N said happily.

"Biscuit?" Uzi asked, confused.

"Печенье?/Biscuit?" Doll and Thad asked.

"Pffft! Biscuit!" Lizzy let out, almost laughing loudly from this nickname.

"N, don't embarrass our kid." V said.

"I'm her father, it's my job! And I've got so many years to make up for!" N said quickly.

"I know that, but I mean... they clearly are here for a reason." V said, "They wouldn't be out of that bunker of theirs without reason."

"Oh yeah. That's right." N said before he put Uzi down and stepped back. "So why are you and your friends out at sunrise?"

"I found them at an abandoned lab getting attacked by Sentinels." J said, crossing her arms.

"SENTINELS?!" V and N shouted in shock.

"We could've taken them! Plus, I can regenerate, so it was fine." Uzi said.

"Regeneration has LIMITS! Especially if you're low on oil!" V said firmly.

"Speaking of Oil, we have a solver issue." J said.

"What?! Where?!" N asked in shock.

"Right here. U's adoptive cousin." J said, pointing to Doll.

"N, oil, now!" V said.

N nodded as he rushed over to the pod in the spire.

"Um, excuse me, I'm Thad. Uzi's boyfriend." Thad said with his hands up.

'Her what-friend?' N and V thought, instantly overprotective.

"Can I just be the one to ask for answers? Like what the hell is this "solver" you're worried about?" He asked.

"The Solver is a program found in... certain drones." V said, "It causes them to overheat and need oil to prevent that, like how Disassembly Drones operate... now please repeat... you're U's WHAT?"

V smiled widely and an X formed on her visor. Jolting in fear, Thad instantly pulled his flame thrower nozzles and aimed at V. His fight or flight instinct choosing to fight, thanks to his new Pyro Drone upgrade. Uzi got between them.

"Thad, put that away. Mom, stop scaring my boyfriend, you haven't been in my life long enough to do that." Uzi said.

"Ouch." Lizzy said with a wince but she was recording this on her phone.

"Lizzy, put that phone away." Uzi said, "We don't need people to see this."

"They won't. This is just for me." Lizzy said.

"Put. The phone. AWAY." Uzi said slowly to her friend before looking at V. "Look, mom, we can talk about my personal life and other things later but right now, we need answers in what is going on with my drone cousin, Doll."

V looked at Uzi and nodded.

"Like J said, she can use the solver, which means she was either infected with it... or it was passed down from a parent." V said.

"Parent?" Lizzy asked, looking at Doll.

"Моя мать или отец? (My mother or father?)" Doll asked in shock.

"One of them, yes." N said, scratching his head as he returned.

He hand a drone's arm in his hand and went over to Doll, before sticking it in her mouth. Doll was shocked, but didn't take it out, instead she started sucking on it. Like a human baby sucking on a pacifier, she drank all of the oil inside of it like it was a bottle of milk.

"Okay, so... should we be concerned?" Uzi asked.

"Not if she has self control. The smaller side effect of the solver is that she'll slowly become like a murder drone by needing to drink oil to keep her core from overheating." J explained as everyone looked at her.

"And the BIGGER side effect?" Uzi just HAD to ask.

"She... loses her mind and we have to kill her." J said.

"HMMM?!" Doll let out, shocked by this as she nearly swallowed the arm in her mouth!

"Kill her?!" The twins shouted in shock.

"I mean... this is a corrupted program." J said, "The fact that there's some semblance of control right now is impressive... I'd talk with your family when you get back, because if you didn't know about this they may of hid it."

"But for now, you need some rest." V said as her and N started dragging Uzi.

"And we are long overdue for time with our daughter." N said, before the trio went to the ceiling of the spire.

They hung from their tails and held onto Uzi before wrapping their wings around the three of them.

'I should be upset about this... but it feels pretty nice.' Uzi thought.

Before Uzi knew it, had yawned a bit before slowly falling asleep in their embrace.

"Uh, how do we explain to the Doormans that we just left her here?" Lizzy whispered to Thad.

"I don't think that will be an issue." Thad said, motioning to J, who was blocking the exit.

"The Russian bot can't be in the sun either, so none of you are leaving until the sun goes down." J said.

CRUNCH!

Hearing the sound, Thad, Lizzy, and J turned to Doll to see she was now chewing on the worker drone arm. Either from her new hunger or the stress of this situation she was now in...or maybe both. Doll's eyes moved over to them mid-bite.
