Taking It To The Next Level.
Escalante
Preston had woken me up differently today. Instead of tapping my face or continuously saying my name, he had kissed me and the moment I woke up, it turned into a full make out session. You might be thinking since it's been almost a week that I must have had sex with him. Sorry to bust your bubbles kids but that hasn't happened because Preston found it in himself to tell me he was a virgin.
I didn't believe and I still don't because look at him. He was handsome with his honey blonde hair and his pretty blue eyes that always left me melting. Then he went ahead to tell me he was a virgin?
That he had to break it off when girl wanted to sleep with him? He even told me he was planning to lose his virginity to someone he would deem special and important in his life.
I knew that couldn't be me but I would be beyond grateful if it was.
Preston pulled away after giving me another lasting kiss on my lips making me feel all warm and lightheaded at the same time. He smiled at me and said, "This woke you up faster."
"Maybe you should do it every morning."
He smiled. "Maybe." Chuckling, he rose up from my bed and said, "We are having Cabin meeting by the way. Val wants to talk to us."
Nodding, I stood up and found my shorts in the dresser. I wore it and asked when I saw him sitting back on his bed, "Aren't you going?"
"I was down not quite long and Alex got mad at me so I am waiting for him to cool off."
Immediately, I remembered I wanted to ask him about his relationship with Alex because it had been bugging me since the first day. Turning back to him from the door, I asked, "What is up with the both of you?"
"It was something that happened last year." He shrugged then gave me a smile that made me feel like it wasn't a big deal, but it looked like it was since Alex was still mad at him from last year.
However, I decided not to pry. If they had a thing, it was last year. He was mine this year.
"I hope you guys settle it quickly then."
He nodded, "We will."
Coming out of the room, I heard people arguing about the strangest thing to argue about on a Saturday morning.
"I believe there are other gods and not just God."
"And you call yourself Christian." Jacob frowned at Carlo but he only laughed.
"I might be Christian but that doesn't mean no other gods exist. I believe there are Greek gods, Egyptian gods, Hindu gods and tons of other gods. I just happen to serve one of them and that is the Christian God."
Carlo and Jacob were arguing and Alex and MK were just watching them with amusement written all over their faces. MK didn't even look so scary anymore. Slowly, I eased myself into the gathering and sat beside Alex who said, "Then what do you guys think about Atheism?"
"I think Atheist are confused. How can you not believe there is a God?" Jacob said and Carlo countered.
"I don't think Atheism is bad. Because, if you ask me who I would rather live with between a Christian and an Atheist, I would say Atheist because they would never try to shove their religion down your throat."
"That's because they don't have a religion."
"Exactly."
Alex and MK laughed at them but Jacob and Carlo hardly noticed it because they were too engulfed in their argument to care. Tapping Alex's shoulder when he had managed to calm down, I asked, "What's going on?"
"Isn't it obvious? Jacob and Carlo are having a fight about Christianity just because Carlo said Christian are annoying after watching some YouTube video. MK and I have been throwing topics for them and it is so fun watching them argue about it." He laughed again when Carlo cursed in Spanish.
"If you think Atheism is awesome. Why don't you just join it?" Jacob huffed and fell back on his seat.
"You can't just join Atheism. You have to at least have the same belief." He sighed. "Even if I want to become an Atheist, my parents will just offer me up as a sacrifice before I even say the phrase, 'God a particle.' "
Jacob stared at him in surprise and Alex and MK busted into another fit of laughter. Not to lie, it was funny to see Carlo all worked up over nothing but I knew this was a touchy subject for him because he cared about me and since I was gay, being Christian was tough.
"I heard there was a pope that was gay. I also heard people condemned him." MK said, causing Carlo and Jacob to look at him with the same stupefied expression.
"Seriously?"
MK rose a brow at them and said, "So you guys can argue about that but don't know about this?"
"Seriously?" They both still asked and I rolled my eyes.
"I don't know about you all but I am a proud Christian especially since I moved from my former church." I said nonchalantly as I leaned back on the couch.
"What made you leave?"
"I slept with the pastor's son so I felt guilty." I shrugged.
Carlo's eyes widened, "I thought we moved our church because they preached a lot about hate?"
"He started preaching about hate because he found out." I never expected it to be a big deal. It wasn't like the pastor's son and I were in some relationship. Plus, it wasn't my fault. What was the son doing at a gay bar in the first place?
The room fell unnecessarily quiet and I cleared my throat awkwardly just when Val and Dave came into the cabin. I exhaled when all their eyes fell on them and no longer on me.
Val came to join us at the sitting room while Dave stood dramatically at the door and said, "Guess who got a job in the Kitchen?"
"Wow. You did it. How come?" Preston asked as he skipped down the stairs to meet Dave.
Dave glanced at him then looked back at us and said, "I wanted to volunteer but after they tasted my food, I got the job. I'm just that awesome."
"Yeah," Jacob said. "You are."
The both of them came to join us in the living room and as Dave sat on the floor beside Jacob's legs, Preston came to sit on the arm of the chair I was sitting on and it surprised me when he snaked his arm around my shoulder. I wasn't disturbed about it in the slightest, I was just blown away at how open he was about our open relationship.
Alex noticed the both of us and frowned but I was grateful when he didn't say anything and urged Val to start the meeting.
Rolling his shoulders as he sat up straight, Val nodded and said, "Ariesa and other officials are planning the scavenger hunt so they could use that to put us in a team."
During one of our swimming sessions, Preston had told me about this Scavenger hunt thing the camp did. He said it was what the officials resulted to when they wanted to pick a group or someone to fill out a position. He said they hadn't done it for two years since the camp opened.
"So, it would be winner versus losers." Val was saying.
Jacob brightened up almost immediately and said, "Why not do straight versus gay like last three years or so?"
"Hell no. That caused too much disqualification." Alex groaned, sitting up in his seat. When Val and Jacob gave him a confused look, he said, "Remember there were lots of name calling and people were sent home because of it."
"Oh yeah." Dave nodded, "And we had fights over everything." He laughed then glanced between Carlo and me, "It was a fun year."
"Not so fun if they light up fireworks in your bed." MK spat then turned to Val and said, "I would prefer losers versus winners over straight versus gays."
Val ran a hand through his hair, contemplating what they had said then sighed and looked at Jacob, "I'm sorry dude. I just remembered why I hated it."
"Let me guess, the officials discriminated against the gays too?" Preston said, meanwhile, rubbing small circles underneath the hairs at the nape of my neck. I didn't know if he was trying to turn me on or relax me but if it were the first, it was working quite well.
"Yes." He sighed, his big hands rubbing his face slowly before clasping then in front of himself, "So there really wasn't a safe ground."
"I wasn't there that year. I just over heard." Jacob rolled his eyes then gave Val a tight lipped smile, "For your information, I might have sparked a SVG war."
"SVG?" I asked quietly so only Preston could hear me.
"Straight versus Gay. It was what they called it at that time."
"You seem to know a lot. Where you there?" I looked up at him.
"No. I came the same year Jacob did. The year after SVG and that was when the camp started to do the competition with the camp opposite ours." Preston exhaled then gave me a dull look, "When we started having Camp wars, the manager had to stick with inter-camp competition."
"That way we pay for our own damage." Alex added, making the both of us turn to look at him and he sneered at Preston.
"Alex." I drew and he looked at me. His forehead creased in annoyance and he moved closer to MK who shot me a glare then wrapped his arm around Alex's shoulder.
My attention was drawn away from them when I could no longer feel Preston's hand on my neck. I looked back at him and found him standing up from the couch. Catching his arm before he could move any further from me, he looked back at me, giving me a gentle smile. "I've got to go for the football practice."
I ignored the verbal fight between Val and Jacob and said as I stood up and followed him back to our room, "I don't think the meeting is over."
"It won't be over soon either. Now that they are distracted, I can sneak out." He rolled his eyes, running a hand through his hair nonchalantly.
When we were in the room, I closed the door behind me and said, "This is about Alex right?"
He didn't answer me. He was more interested in putting his swim suit and football garment in his bag than answering me and that annoyed me a bit.
Walking over to him, I stopped him from putting his white shirt into his bag and said, "Can we at least talk about it? You say it isn't a big deal but it must be since Alex' still pissed about it." When he still didn't reply or even look at me, I added, "I really don't mean to pry but I like you and Alex is a cool guy. What's between you both kinda affects me and I don't want it to hurt my relationship with any of you."
I watched Preston's face turn beet red and I smiled when he finally looked at me. "Y-you like me? Like, like like me?" He asked, shyly.
I licked me lips at how cute he was looking at me with those vulnerable eyes. Chuckling, I snaked me arms around his waist and said, "Of course I like-like you. I wouldn't have kissed you that day if I didn't like you."
"Huh." He blushed again, sliding his arms around my neck until his fingers found themselves tucked in my hair.
"So, will you stay with me a little longer?" I asked, kissing him on his ears and if I had learnt anything since I have been here, it was that kissing his ear or even whispering to him was a huge turn on.
He hummed against my neck and I sucked in a breath, "Now that you say it like that, I cannot say no."
And before he could make any move, I pushed him down on the bed. There were still tons of things I could do to him that wasn't exactly sex. Right now, I felt like taking it to the next level.
