Oh Jeremy . . .
Just watched an episode where Doof tried to freeze the ENTIRE TRI-STATE AREA! I thought the idea seemed a bit familiar. 😄😂😅 Also, I remembered that Baljeet has a fear of contractions. I will be sure to not make that mistake again.
"Phineas, Ferb, you have to do something!" Candace pleaded before Jeremy could walk through the gate.
"Well, I could rebuild it, Candace, but without Ferb it will take a lot longer than—"
"How much longer?" She gasped for air and tried to stifle her energy.
"Um, guys . . ." Isabella pointed tentatively at the gate as it opened, and everyone turned their attention over to the newcomer.
"Wow, Candace, you wouldn't believe me if I told you—"
"Jeremy?!" Candace stared at him, bug-eyed and shocked.
There before her was what looked like a cross between a fox and a fish.
"Hmph, a Vaporeon." Ferb mused.
"Makes sense to me." Buford relaxed and put Espeon Baljeet in a choke hold.
"Oh, so it appears I'm not the only one then. Cool." Jeremy seemed pretty chill and relaxed himself as he shrugged off his previous explanation and sauntered on into the yard.
Was everyone, except Candace, unfazed by all of this?
Apparently, yes.
(Author's note): Candace doesn't know that Baljeet is fazed by it.
"Uh, eh, un, um, J-Jeremy!" Candace stuttered, extremely jittery.
She feared that he'd give a negative response to her new appearance.
"Oh hi, Candace. It looks like you've had an interesting day so far." He gave her a warm smile as he gave notice to the wreckage of the yard.
Sensing the positive energy thrown her way, she relaxed almost instantly.
"Heh heh, love the tail." She calmly complimented him as she lost herself by looking into his eyes. His beautiful blue eyes that made her melt every time.
'Oh Jeremy.' She inwardly swooned as she bent towards him in a way that would seem extremely uncomfortable if she wasn't trapped in her fantasy.
So "uncomfortable", in fact, that she bent too far forward and almost fell face first into the dirt.
Good thing Jeremy was there and was willing to catch her.
Too bad he didn't know how to catch her in a Vaporeon's body. They both nearly tumbled to the ground as she fell into his chest.
Sitting on his hind legs, he looked down at her with an expression that read "Um, I gotcha?"
She laughed nervously at her clumsiness due to another Jeremy daydream. It seemed like her nervous disposition would never completely fade away.
As they drew apart from each other, he voiced his thoughts. "Thanks, didn't exactly plan to have one today, but I guess it does seem pretty interesting."
"Okay, so it turns out that it's going to take me about six hours to rebuild the machine." Phineas said matter-of-factly as he skimmed through the blueprints. He was oblivious, of course, to the previous occurrence.
"Six . . . Hours . . ." Candace couldn't believe it. Electricity crackled slightly in the air once again.
"Well yeah, since Ferb can't help, it's going to
take me at least three times as long to order the parts and devise a plan and build and get some orange juice and. . ." Phineas tucked the blueprints under his arm as he began naming things off and counting them on his fingers.
He had just begun counting his toes when Isabella decided to speak up.
"We'll give as much help as you need." Isabella assured him, stringing Buford along with her in one statement.
"Yeah, . . . we." Buford narrowed his eyes at her for not giving him a choice, but did not go any further, since girly got feisty when it came to something related to Phineas.
Meanwhile, Ferb rested under the tree, his right eye only to open for a second after hearing his name.
One of his ears twitched as sounds he hadn't comprehended before became known to him.
The life of a Leafeon was strange, yet intriguing to such a curious, knowledge-seeking mind as his.

There was a knock at the door, which he could not answer.
Once he had collapsed to the ground, he knew he couldn't get up.
"Being thwarted has never been this tiring before." He voiced to the open air as the knock came again, harder.
"I wonder if Perry left his grappling hook here again. Or maybe, Charlene has finally come back to give me the rest of my things from the divorce. Yeah . . . right. Or maybe it's the landlord wanting his monthly pay." If only he could blast that guy with his Go Away Inator.
Things would be so much easier then.
"Dad! Will you let me in?! I've forgotten my keys, and I left a book here, remember?" Vanessa's voice declared from the other side of the door.
"Oh right, Vanessa said she'd be coming over . . ." He rose his voice to call out to her, "There are three extra keys hidden under the mat, in the mailbox, and buried in the flower pot."
She must have used the one under the mat, cause the key hidden in the mailbox was dented and never worked properly unless you jiggled it into the lock about seventeen times.
Don't ask why seventeen times.
And she must not have used the key in the flower pot since it was buried at the very bottom of the pot.
Considering it now, Doof pondered why he didn't just put the key in his pocket since he always had to use the hidden keys whenever he needed to open or lock the door.
This thought process gave to him a strange sense of déjà vu when he tried to remember why he had started doing that.
As a matter of fact, he began this ritual of putting multiple keys outside his door the day after he lost his toy train.
Though strangely enough, he couldn't recall what happened that day nor why he knew that he had lost his toy train, which he rarely even thought about.
"I'm not even going to ask." Vanessa commented after she had performed a quick scan of the frozen lair.
"Um, Vanessa, baby girl, can you make sure to return the key?" Doof still couldn't get up, though he was attempting to at the moment.
"Sure thing." The response was positive, but her tone was neutral.
After a few more attempts, Doof felt rather faint. So, he gave up and decided to continue resting on the floor.
The ice in the lair had been melting rapidly due to the summer heat.
"Humph, maybe, freezing the Tri-State Area during the summer was not such a good idea." He contemplated as he lied there on the floor, drenched in a cold puddle.
"I should've just blown up the sun."

Ferb continued his silent observation of the scene from the tree as the chaos boosted to a new level.
Evidently, Phineas wasn't lying when he said that the whole process would take longer without him.
Though he hadn't expected . . . This.
