....... so, I was trying to make a story based one of the characters from the old Team Crafted. I wrote two chapter before I decided to draw him. I tried to make him look like one of the members, but nothing I drew seemed to look right. I stopped trying to draw Team Crafted character and just decided to see where my hands took me.

     Once I did this, my hand seemed to move on its own accord, the outlines of my character falling into place. The closer I got to finishing, the more my character became its own OC. I ditched the idea of Team Crafted right there and then. My eyes landed on the color pencils, and they just seemed to fit so well with his personality. Colors blossomed forth onto every available surface.

     I know my first book has a character based on myself, and therefore should be my favorite, right? Wrong. This little eleven year old is now my favorite OC. And I can't wait for his story to be finished and published so that you might love him as much as I do.
