Some women fear the fire...
Some simply become it~
Laborious breaths along with a hard time to keep his eyes open, the demon was just laying on the ground barely alive, with his mind trying to process the scene in front of him. How did this all happen? How in the hell did he get this injured? Why was his death in the form of a freaking woman!!?! His pride was hurt, no, it was crushed by a certain female, who came out of nowhere and was now killing each one of them with so much passion, as if she will use their bodies to decorate her house.
The demon closed his eyes with a jerk as he saw another one of them being killed so effortlessly and that's when the scene started to replay in his head.
The sun was up, shining way too brightly for the lazy demons who wanted to do nothing but eat and sleep. For eating, these rogues need food and they have decided to rob others of their food. Hence, these group of reprobates were now on a round around the countryside which they supposedly have under their control not shying away from looting and harassing the commoners in the way.
None of them had any mercy for anyone as they grabbed and robbed the poor demons of their belongings. It was the tenth house which was facing the injustice, the residents silently praying that maybe, just maybe the kingdom nearby which they considered as their own kingdom sends some help and ends this daily torture for them.
But their hopes were all shattered as they heard a ear piercing scream of an old man who was ripped of like a rag doll without the slightest of resistance. The people only stood there, watching the horrific scene as the leader of the maniacs, Kang Dee, slowly walked towards the old lady as if ready to eat her flesh with his bare teeth. The poor lady just shivered silently praying for her life, even though her life was already lying on the ground, wrenched out into shreds.
The evil demon reached the lady ready to haul the soul out of her body before he was interrupted. Oh, How much he hated being interrupted were his thoughts as he turned with a annoyed face and gritted teeth to see the source of interruption only to lay eyes upon a man.
A man dressed in a royal uniform, which was more suited to messengers and he was right, a messenger he was who was not even looking up at the scene truly dedicated to his job of giving the message and then leaving right after.
And so the man spoke without acknowledging any presence, " The rogue demons who have been creating a havoc in a protected area of Augosuga, are invited to a meeting in the evening to talk things out with the princess" he finished without any waver in his voice and before anyone knew it he was already walking away.
The leader stood there, dumbfounded trying to process what happened, until a sly smirk covered his face before he turned to his group, " we have been invited to a meeting to talk things out with princess. Hmm.. I see.. technically we shouldn't go at all..but who doesn't want to see her, who's beauty is said to be as rare as angels in hell~
I am not such an idiot..and I know my other demon mates want to accompany me for sure. So let's Prepare for a fun evening today.." he said with a slightly raised voice and a lick of his lips.
He was excited, and his lust filled excitement went up to another level as his eyes were blessed by the view of the princess in all her glory that very evening. The sun was still bright in the sky showing no mood of setting as if it also wanted to witness the meeting of a princess and a group of rogue demons.
Under the light of the sun, in the middle of the small town's clearing was where the princess was now seated. Around her were a bunch of flowers which were still rooted to their parent soil as they had been brought as a whole instead of plucking them out and making them worthless.
The princess sat on the soil, staring at the flowers intently. Not being able to keep his excitement inside an enthusiastic Kang stepped in front and bowed in a mocking way. His idiotic smirk never leaving his ugly face.
"The gracious presence of the princess has indeed made us some very lucky folks and so we would love to take this golden chance and do some further introductions without any dela- " he stopped talking as he saw the young woman standing up abruptly.
With eyes still fixated on the flowers she started to step away from them and walked towards the barbarous demons. Upon reaching the leader she put all her attention to him and scanned each one of them lazily. There were around twenty of them. All bulky and huge in size with wickedness and inquity quite evident in their appearance.
Once satisfied, she brought her eyes back at Kang who was staring right back at her with a sly smile. " Kangshiii, as much as I want to talk to you ..a certain thing is troubling me, I was wondering if u could help?" she paused a bit to check the said demon's reaction and upon receiving a nod she continued,
"So I have a question... When I grow flowers and nurture them, they grow up and make the garden beautiful. Hence, as their caretaker, I would always want my flowers to be the happiest and have all what they deserve, but then a certain thing decided to destroy peace in my garden and despite my many efforts the intruder didn't stop from showing up time to time. Weeds... I am talking about those annoying weeds which are trying to destroy peace in my flower garden. So Kangshii.. what do you think I should do? " she asked with a face full of (fake) worry.
The demon stood there with a blank face before breaking out into a fit of laughter but calmed down soon after. " It is simple my princess, you rip those weeds off of their origin and kill them" he said with his sickening smirk back on his face as he watched the princess or more like her expression turn into an amused grin.
She stepped one step closer to the clueless demon and looked him dead in the eyes before whispering " Exactly!!.."
That was the last proper word he heard from anyone because everything went silent after a loud gasp which so desperately wanted to be a scream was heard. The demon snapped his neck towards the source of the noise before his eyes widened upon seeing Bora, one of his companions, falling limp to the ground. The reason apparently was a dagger which went right through his throat killing him on the spot.
The clueless head looked around in anger to see the soul who dared to do such a thing in his presence only to freeze on his spot when he saw the black eyes of the only female present there, still looking at him with the same amused grin.
Her hand was what made the demon freeze. It was lifted in the dead body's direction and her fingers were curled into a position which is formed after throwing a weapon at the target. Hence, confirming that she was in fact not in a mood to play around.
Anger seeped through his eyes and his hands were in a tight fist as he growled at the princess in order to scare her off but all he received was a roll of eyes.
"Don't even try you weed~~ I ain't here to waste my time on you.." she scoffed as she took a few steps back and took a good look on all the soon to be slaughtered demons staring right back at her. Some were staring out of fear, some had a neutral face and some were seeping with anger.
She smiled eerily before making an eye contact with the leader and that's when she snapped. Her eyes were now an icy blue, a colour which sent shivers down the other's spine.
As if the sudden change wasn't enough, the sky which was all clear uptil now decided to copy the girl's eyes.To be more exact, the sky, the clouds, the sun and every single part of the nature started to mirror the aura generating off of the female. The sun was no longer visible as dark clouds took the lead, the color of the sky turning the same shade as the eyes of the princess.

Strong winds started to blow until there was only dust and blurriness all around. The scoundrels tried to shield themselves from the unforeseen wrath of the nature or more like a certain female demon. But all of it was a waste as they all got lost in the maze of high speed winds created by an unforgiving she-demon.
It was clear that they couldn't get out of the sudden attack of the controlled winds so the only thing they could do was try and last in the windstorm for as long as they can. After what seemed like hours, kang finally felt the storm calming down as he looked around only to have his mouth hang open with what he witnessed.
There on the ground lay almost all his fellow demons and those who were left were being effectively murdered as well. Not being able to hold back, the demon dashed towards their uninvited killer bringing his sword into an attacking mode. As he came closer to his target, he raised his sword only to stop in his movements as he felt his legs being held back.
Horrified, he looked down to his feet as his glance dropped onto something he has never witnessed. His feet were practically tied to the ground with pale blue rope like flames, which appeared out of nowhere making him squirm in his place until he felt a presence right in front of him.

Viri stood high and strong with her sword resting on her shoulder eyeing the terrified demon, a satisfied smirk adorning her face. She tapped her feet impatiently waiting for the demon to blurt something he would regret later but nothing came out of his mouth and so, she decided to end the wait along with him.
Working her sword graciously on the latter's body she sent him falling to the ground severely injured before turning to the last one, who wanted to attack from behind. After getting over with the last one the princess of augosuga briskly walked over to the dying demon and leaned down to face him.
Kang's eyes flew open upon hearing a strong yet melodious voice speaking
" Wanna know your fault kang? You brought havoc in my peaceful flower garden...My nation is my garden, its people being my delicate flowers. You disturbed my flowers and acted as those unnecessary weeds and so, I, the caretaker of this garden decided to rip you troublemakers out...after all that's what a good gardner is supposed to do right?" she paused for a moment before raising her hand in a circular motion as the blue ropes emerged again latching themselves on the dying demon's throat.
"And now you shall rest in anything but peace" she finished with a firm voice closing her palm into a fist which led to the blue flames tightening around kang's neck slowly sucking the life out of him. The said demon thus shut his eyes close tardily, as he saw the retreating figure of his slayer.

The sky was now as calm as her heart with the sun enjoying it's last few minutes of shining before it retires for the day. The area was now at peace as Viri observed the place after successfully getting rid of all the weeds from her flower garden. The place was littered with bodies and so the princess ordered her guards to clear the place while she talked with the commoners.
The people were all very thankful of this massive help as they were provided with food and other necessities along with an assurance from the princess herself that the town will now be under the protection of Augosuga and no harm can be caused to them from here on.
After spending some time with the grateful demons, Viri was informed that the place has been cleared and they were good to go.
The princess then walked towards her carriage which was at the right end of the main road. As she walked straight towards her ride, she felt a sudden tug in her heart making her halt in her tracks. She felt her heartbeat increasing just a bit as a sudden urge to turn around was experienced.

Not being able to keep her curiosity in, Viri turned around as her eyes landed on a peaceful path which led straight to the main palace. This was the way they would be taking the next day to reach the palace but none of it explained why did she felt like this. Was she excited? Was she nervous? Why did she feel as if the path is pulling her towards it.
The confused demon stared at the road for a good minute or so before taking in a deep breath as she turned around to walk straight to her carriage ignoring the foreign feeling in her chest. It was a very weak feeling but it was still there and she had no idea why.
Soon the carriage started moving taking her to the safety of her home but even as they moved her eyes peeked out of the window just to stare at the route to palace, until it was completely out of sight.

What she definitely didn't notice was the same mysterious road flaming in an enchanting red for as long as the moving carriage was in view. The moment the royal transport disappeared into the woods the path restored its original color, free of any kind of red flames which were lighting it up earlier.
The red flames were now nowhere in sight as they went back to their origin of emergence probably waiting for the return of that one soul who summoned them unknowingly...
