INSANITY ... The state of mind when a person can't distinguish between fantasy and reality and when they loose their ability to distinguish between right or wrong. That's what the wandering soul was stepping towards in the cold night.

Even though the little part of his current sane mind was telling him to stop, was telling him that the consequences might be dire but still his figure continued on in the dark hallway, way too determined to get what he thinks he deserves.

Somewhere down the line he knew his decision can create a havoc, it will affect the life of every single soul in this kingdom including his loved ones but none of it seemed to stop him from getting what he loves the most.

After minutes of walking down the long hallway he is now standing in front of a door with a blank face and an equally blank mind. He took a deep breathe and stared at the door. It was the door to his peace and the door which would eliminate all the problems from his life and nothing could make him feel otherwise.

As he slowly lost his last bit of sanity, he grew more and more excited and before he knew it the door was pushed open.

The door made a loud creak sound, maybe the result of not being opened from who knows how long. He stepped inside, the darkness never bothering him. But what he didn't expect was the presence of another soul.

The presence of another living soul in the room which was supposedly locked for years. Heck! the room was not even there the day before as it appeared only when it is called for. He took in the surroundings not being able to move a muscle, when suddenly a hand wrapped itself around his wrist and dragged him into the darkness of the room as the only source of light coming from outside was hampered by the door as it closed behind them with a barely audible sound.

You know the situations where you are in grave danger but you are too much of a fool to even accept it, such kind of situations should be avoided at all costs but of course badmouthing the king of hell in his own royal court is something which would not do you any good.

Yet even after knowing the consequences there are still some handful of mindless souls who are willing to take the risk just because they think that the new king is not so powerful and he was made the king only because his father was the ruler of hell before him. So here they were spitting venom in the royal court which was the first one to be held after the coronation of the new king of hell.

"I still can't believe that we are being forced to accept this coronation, which was not even done in the presence of the royal courtiers" King Ye Joon of Havonia, who is also one of the royal courtiers spat with annoyance.

"For the hundredth time king Joon, I have already explained the circumstances in which this coronation had to be held. The unfortunate death of our beloved King Chin hae and the revelation of the new heir to the throne was a pure coincidence, nothing more nothing less" Park Jimin, the royal advisor, stated rather calmly.

"Well, well , well..I am not questioning your explanations jiminsshi , for all I know is that they still sound bullshit to me ..I mean just observe the figure of events...

At first we loose our beloved king, even before we could react to this shocking news, we get to hear that the new heir of hell has made their appearance and not even a day later, the coronation ceremony is completed with the eldest prince, without the presence of the royal courtiers. I don't think all of it is a coincidence now, is it jiminsshi?? " King Joon shot back, getting up from his place and walking to the middle of the royal court.

He gave Jimin an evil smirk before continuing,
"And this is not it , we don't even know how the new king is ...is his majesty capable enough to rule a world like hell ...he was always in the royal palace not stepping out even once, because the king gave them all the facilities in the palace itself.
He was a prince always living in the riches not knowing anything about the lives the non-royal devils/demons have to live in. I am saying this loud and clear I don't believe in the capabilities of the new king just on the basis of the stories recited to us by his royal advisors and I don't think any of us think otherwise" he finished.

"To answer the queries raised by King joon, I would like to remind him that there is no such rule that the presence of the royal courtiers is a must during the coronation ceremony.

However it is a must that the chief advisor and the royal priest must be the ones to be present, who were very much present throughout the ceremony. Now for your doubts on his majesty and his capabilities, I would very much like to request you to wait for him to come and resolve this doubt himself " jimin replied politely.

"Of course we would wait for him, what else can we do...only satan knows what and who has been put on the thrown, for I am already picturing him as a selfish and careless demon, who doesn't even have the manners to come to the royal court on tim-
"I would request you to choose your words wisely King Joon, for your choice of words are clearly not appropriate to be used for his majesty" Kim Seokjin, one of the royal advisors and basically the most respected demon of hell, stated firmly.

But his request was rudely ignored by the said man as he continued to spit venom, "What I'm saying is the truth Sir Jin, maybe not so good to hear but the fact that he is late to the first royal court after his coronation tells us that he is in fact an incapable, reckless and a not-so-worthy king to hell" Joon replied angrily.

Before anyone could say anything in their king's defence, a fathomless and threatening voice echoed in the entire hall.....

"Mind saying that again...???"

Welllll, here I am with the first official chapter of whammy..I was working on it for quite sometime and this is the end result. The word count is around 1100 words, I didn't want to make it any longer so I ended it there.
