"Hey, Garmadon," Kai yelled, hurrying out of the boys' locker room, "Can you go into the storage room to get this file for me before tryouts start? It's called 'Differential Equations and the Law of Attraction'."

Lloyd frowned, wondering why Kai would need such a thing. After all, the latter wasn't even taking calculus yet, so why would he be doing anything with differential equations? And the Law of Attraction? Was that even a thing?

Kai was weird sometimes, but if he really needed this thing, sure.

Lloyd arrived soon, only to see that Harumi Jade, the girl he'd had a crush on since freshman year, was inside.

Not wanting to enter but knowing that tryouts started soon, he hesitantly walked in, hoping she wouldn't notice.

"Hi Lloyd," she said, smiling sweetly.

"Hey..." Lloyd forced out, suddenly needing to lean against a shelf for support.

"Do you happen to know anything about a paper called 'Differential Equations in the Law of Attraction' or something?" Harumi blushed slightly, "I've been here for ten minutes and I can't find anything."

"Oh wait, same," he said, "Wait, wait a second..."

The doors slammed shut and he heard a lock click. Then laughter.
