"O Rosalind, wherefore might not but thee beest liketh this," I wailed, a hand on my heart and the other reaching upwards.

Nya burst into a fit of laughter. "Wow, so romantic."

Lloyd came running out from the back, his outfit covered in frills and lace. "Do I really have to wear this?"

"Yes," I said.

"We're just doing this for fun, though, so what's the point?"

"What's the point is that Kai lost his lead role in our Aladdin musical so now he wants to make it up by being Romeo and we're too nice to refuse 'cause he's so pathetic," Cole explained, rolling his eyes and grinning.

"Excuse me?" I screeched, and he responded with a half shrug.

"Also you look nothing like Mercutio," Cole continued, "Then again, the movie's the only impression I have of him."

"I'm aware, thanks," Lloyd muttered, "But you do have to remember, Kai made me do this."

"Well, I have to play Benvolio, which is worse," Nya said.

"Yeah, and I'm Tybalt..." Cole muttered.

"Ooh, in comes Juliet," Jay announced, and Skylor walked into the room wearing a tank top and sweatpants.

"You look gorgeous," I sighed dreamily.

She ignored me and turned to Lloyd instead. "You look ridiculous."

"I'm aware," he replied sourly.

"Can we make this a music video?" Skylor asked, tossing her backpack onto the pile of bags and coats in the corner of the room.

"Wait why?" I asked.

"'Love Story' is a bop," she replied with a shrug before popping a piece of gum in her mouth and flicking off a few strands of her scarlet hair off her shoulder, "And if you start going on about how Taylor Swift sucks, I don't wanna hear it."

"Okay, sure, whatever," Nya said, "But please, no sloppy make-out sessions; my eyes have suffered enough."

"Whoa whoa whoa," I stepped forward, "You're one to talk."

"At least Jay and I don't do it in public, you just walk in on us," she said matter-of-factly, "You, on the other hand, would gladly do it in the middle of a test if you had your way."

"I would not," I shot back.

"Eh," Skylor smirked, "I could see that happening. Anyway, I'm gonna go change."

"I'm sure Kai would love to―" Jay began before I clamped a hand over his mouth.

"Okay, just hurry up," Cole said, "I don't have all day."

A/N: Ayyy so I finally got this done! It's exactly 400 words which is cool. Originally I was planning something else for this prompt but couldn't bring myself to figure it out. I think it ended up decent, so yeah

Also, I'm currently writing the chapter that's supposed to include the emotional climax for TJC, and uh... well I breezed through the first 2.5k words and now I'm stuck oops
