To say Eobard Thawne was pissed off was an understatement after receiving the latest bit of intel from one of his generals back in the future. The Flash had decided to steal his move and take the fight to his time period and he was undoing everything Thawne had built. He'd sprung Erikson and the other criminals from the dungeons, inciting revolution and so much more.

"We need to return home now." Thawne said to his wife and son.

"Why, what's going on?" Meena asked.

"The Flash is in our time period and he's working to destroy everything we've built." Thawne said.

"So we're changing the plan?" Thaddeus asked.

"We have to stop him before he finds the cobalt mines." Thawne said.

"If he takes them out, it'll take out the entire power grid for the army." Meena said.

"And I will not let him undo what we've accomplished." Thawne said.

"Then what are we doing here? We need to get going." Thaddeus said and Thawne grinned.

"Barry Allen has no idea what he's done, trying to fight me on my turf when I have access to my entire army." Thawne said as Meena shifted to her landslide form.

It had been a few days since Erikson had been saved from Thawne's prisons, he'd been resting up in the medical bay of the base of operations Team Flash was using in the future, which was an underground bunker, built underneath the ruins of Mount Flash, which was little more than a crater in the ground now. According to Erikson, his father had been very thorough in wiping every trace of the Flash off the face of the Earth. This bunker was all that was left.

"How are you doing?" Nova asked as she walked into the medical bay to check on him.

"Healing slowly. I may have got my dad's brains, but I did not get his speed healing. Something Thaddeus loved to rob in my face when we were kids." Erikson said.

"You were your mother's favorite, Thaddeus was your father's." Nova said as she sat down next to him.

"Yeah, but even mom drank the kool-aid and bought into dad's nonsense. To this day, I don't know what she sees in him." Erikson said.

"Love is a crazy thing." Nova said as she looked at him.

"Nova, what are we doing here?" Erikson asked.

"What do you mean?" Nova asked.

"I had a lot of time to think while I was locked in my dad's prison and it made me think about a lot of things. But mostly you." Erikson said.

"Erikson." Nova said as she cupped his cheek with her hand.

"Nova, come on." Erikson said.

"Is now really the best time to be having this conversation?" Nova asked.

"Why not? We've been dancing around this topic since we met. We said that once my dad was dealt with, we'd discuss it and now we've got a real shot at making that happen." Erikson said.

"Erikson, you know I'm not good at this kind of stuff. No one from the Anvil is. Growing up, I was taught to keep my emotions on lock down, show no weakness." Nova said.

"And I know that's not you. Not anymore." Erikson said and Nova couldn't help but smile at that.

"Maybe." Nova admitted.

"Nova, come on, let's stop dancing around this." Erikson said, but before Nova could respond, her communicator went off.

"Meeting in the control room. This conversation will have to wait. But I promise we will finish it, since this is something I want to discuss. Just not while there's still so much to do." Nova said.

"Are you ever gonna stop trying to save the world long enough to enjoy living in it?" Erikson asked as Nova helped him up.

"Until a little over 6 months ago, I didn't know it was possible for someone like me to enjoy life. And I can't let myself do that until other people like me can do the same. Now come on. We have to get to the meeting." Nova said, shutting this conversation down before speeding them to the control room.

"What's going on?" Nova asked the rest of Team Flash.

"Well, thanks to Erikson, we've accessed Thawne's satellite network and computer system and we found something I think you'll find something interesting." Barry said as Cisco activated the computer.

"One of my dad's detention centers?" Erikson asked.

"Actually, according to the message we just decrypted, it's under new management." Barry said.

"What do you mean?" Nova asked.

"Apparently word reached the inmates about our liberation of Erikson and not only has the Flash arrived in this time period, but Silver Bolt has returned. It caused an uprising and the prisoners overthrew the guards. It's under their control now, which means that it's under our control now. And they contacted us using a frequency you said only your old rebels knew about." Cisco said.

"Who was the message from?" Nova asked as Cisco played it.

"Silver Bolt, if you can hear this message, this is Lash, I'm alive and so is Tripwire. After we heard that you were back, we rallied our fellow prisoners here at detention center Echo Lambda and took control. The defenses are active and thawne's are not taking it back without a fight. You're not in this fight alone. We're all ready to stand with you." spoke a voice that Nova never thought she'd hear again.

"She's alive." Nova said in shock.

"You know Lash?" Barry asked.

"Her real name is Rayna Zephyros and Tripwire is her older brother Zane. They were founding members of the resistance and Rayna was my best friend. I thought they both died over a year ago when a supply run went bad. But this whole time she's been alive. I have to get her out of there." Nova said.

"Nova, you don't know it's really her." Erikson said, since he'd checked after Rayna had gone missing and there were no records that she'd been put in any of his dad's prisons.

"That's why I have to find out. That prison is only a 30 second run for me. I can get in and find my friend. I left her behind once. I'm never going to do it again." Nova said as she sped out before anyone could stop her.

"What don't we know?" Caitlin asked.

"Rayna and Zane are the closest things to family Nova has, since they took her in after her parents were killed by my dad's troops. They kept her hidden and safe and when Nova took charge of the resistance, Rayna was her second in command and most trusted soldier. She spent months blaming herself when we thought they were dead, so she might not be thinking clearly. You should follow her, make sure that she's not running into a trap." Erikson said.

"I'm on it." Barry said as he sped out after Nova
