"Citizen, you're in violation of the curfew." a soldier said to a few random people in the Anvil who'd been running towards their homes, trying not to be spotted.

"Please, it was an accident, we lost track of time." one of them said.

"Disobedience will not be tolerated. Surrender now or face repercussions." the trooper said as the people put their hands up in surrender, only for the trooper to be knocked back by a flash of yellow lightning.

"What was that?" one of the civilians said as the lightning came to a stop and to their shock, they saw a very familiar figure from the history books wearing a bright red suit.

"Are you alright?" the figure asked.

"It can't be. You're just a story, a page from history." one of the citizens said.

"Nope, I'm the real deal. Sorry it took me so long to get here though." the man said.

"You're the Flash." the citizen said in a shock at seeing the scarlet speedster in person. And for the first time, they all felt hope for a better world.

"Yep. Spread the word. I'm here to free you from Thawne's reign. Once and for all." Flash said with a grin as he sped off, but before leaving the trooper's weapons and mimicry tech with the civilians, who grinned as they picked it up and saw the now defenseless trooper lying near them and he didn't look so tough anymore. Things were changing.

"What is going on?" General Rycus, the leader of Thawne's war council and acting leader of his empire with the Thawne family gone, asked his fellow generals.

"General, we're receiving reports from all over the city. Our troops are being attacked and disabled. All any witnesses recall seeing is a flash of yellow lightning and a man wearing a red suit." General Sarick said.

"You don't think?" Another general, General Fletcher, asked.

"No, The Reverse Flash is keeping the old Flash busy in the past while we finish preparing the fleet to join him there." Rycus said, right as a breach opened up in the middle of the room and suddenly, Flash and Silver Bolt sped through it and took out the entire war council.

"You sure about that." Flash asked with a smirk as Vibe and Ice Maiden joined them.

"Silver Bolt. I'm surprised you have the guts to show your face here traitor." Rycus said as he tried to use his own metahuman powers to project energy blasts to hit her, but suddenly found ancient power dampening cuffs on his wrists preventing him from using them, along with his mimicry armor being removed.

"Shut Rycus. I'm not the same as I was the last time you saw me and I brought help. Where's Erikson?" Silver Bolt asked as she yanked him up, her eyes glowing a dangerous silver.

"I'll never tell you." Rycus said.

"Silver Bolt, we don't threaten to kill people. Besides, there's an easier way to get that information. Vibe." Flash said and Vibe nodded as he gripped Rycus's shoulder tightly and vibed Erikson's location.

"He's in some kind of detention facility, being blasted with some kind of energy." Vibe said.

"He's in Thawne's dungeon being blasted with cobalt radiation as a form of re-education." Silver Bolt realized before she sped off.

"Go after her, we'll mop up here." Ice Maiden said to her brother, who nodded before speeding after Silver Bolt.

"Where are you going?" Flash asked Silver Bolt as he followed her through the city, since even though he was faster, she knew the layout better than him, so he was trailing behind her.

"To Thawne's personal dungeon to not only spring Erikson, but a lot of other high profile criminals that would be useful in starting a revolution against Thawne." Silver Bolt said.

"Then lead the way." Flash said as he followed Silver Bolt to what he assumed was Thawne's palace.

"Thank you for teaching me how to phase, since I'd never be able to get inside without that." Silver Bolt said as she phased right through the wall, with Flash right behind her to find Thawne's commandos waiting for them.

"Surrender, now." the leader said.

"You should take your own advice. Your gear doesn't work on Speedsters, so you're outmatched." Flash said as he and Silver Bolt easily took out all of those troops before heading down to the dungeon.

After they arrived, Nova immediately began searching the cells for Erikson until she found him in the last cell under heavy guard, which she neutralized with ease before stealing the access key from them and opening his cell.

"Erikson." Nova said as she moved to help him.

"Nova. What are you doing here?" Erikson asked weakly in shock at seeing her again.

"I'm here to get you out. And I brought help." Nova said as Erikson saw the Flash standing in the doorway.

"Flash, it's an honor." Erikson said.

"I should be the one saying that to you. You made a very brave choice choosing to defy your father." Flash said.

"It was easy. But we need to get out of here now." Erikson said.

"Not until after we free the other prisoners. The plan is to lure your father back here by starting an uprising against him." Flash said and Erikson grinned.

"Then get me to a computer and let's start a revolution." Erikson said.
