A few days later found Barry doing some work in his CSI lab, since he'd spent so much time focusing on his Justice League work, he was amazed he still had his job as a CSI. But somehow Captain Singh didn't have the good sense to fire him, but Barry wasn't going to complain, since he enjoyed being able to fight crime both in a mask and out of one.

Anyways, he was finishing up a case in his lab when he heard the door slide open and turned to see Captain Singh standing in the door.

"Allen, I need you downstairs. We've got a new case and it's one that I think you might be interested in. You and Joe." Singh said.

"Yeah, I'll be right down." Barry said as he moved as he put his experiment on hold, since he knew if Singh was requesting him immediately, it must be urgent.

When Barry entered Singh's office, he found Joe already there, along with Singh and a blonde woman that he instantly recognized as Sapphire Stagg, since Team Flash was investigating her father Simon Stagg and his company.

"Allen, please take a seat." Singh said and Barry nodded as he did that.

"What's going on?" Barry asked.

"Ms. Stagg is here to file a missing persons report and considering who it is, I thought it would be best to loop you two in." Singh said.

"Who is it?" Joe asked.

"An old acquaintance." Singh said as he handed them the report.

"Ralph Dibny." Barry said as he picked up the file.

"You know him?" Sapphire asked.

"Yeah, we knew him. He was a cop and a dirty one at that. He was fired for fabricating evidence." Joe said.

"I know all about what he did. But he's changed. He actually works security for my father's company now." Sapphire said.

"So what's the problem?" Barry asked.

"He went missing three days ago. I checked his apartment and it's untouched, he isn't answering his phone and no one has seen him at work. I'm getting worried." Sapphire said.

"Do you have any reason to suspect foul play?" Joe asked.

"I think that my dad did something to him, since I've actually been working with the feds to expose him for the corrupt businessman he is and he may have thought that Ralph was the one informing on him, not to mention Ralph and I have been seeing each other behind his back, since dad would never approve of dating anyone, especially a lowly security guard. I'm scared that dad got wind of one of those or both and did something to Ralph in retaliation." Sapphire said and the only reason Barry even considered this was because he and his team were digging into Stagg too for something exactly like this.

"We'll look into it. Have you tried confronting your father about this?" Joe asked.

"Yeah, he just says he sent Ralph on a little vacation, but aside from that being one of the most cliched cover up lines on Earth, Ralph would've told me so we could meet up without dad knowing." Sapphire said.

"Yeah, definitely sounds like there's something fishy going on there." Joe agreed.

"We'll look into it." Barry promised.

"Thank you." Sapphire said as she left the office.

"Well, get to work. And I know you both have your issues with Dibny, but I suggest that you learn to keep them to yourselves and put your jobs first. Dismissed." Singh said as Barry and Joe took that as their cue to leave.

"Why would a girl like Sapphire Stagg show any interest in Ralph Dibny?" Barry asked Joe, who shrugged.

"Maybe he really has changed, since it has been awhile since we've seen him. Besides, you've been looking into Stagg ever since you got back from Queen's wedding. This is the first real lead we have to expose him. We can't pass it up. Especially if Ralph does need your help." Joe said.

"I know. But still, he must've caught one lucky break to land a girl like that." Barry said.

"Yeah, so did you when you scored Iris." Joe said and Barry chuckled, since he couldn't argue with that, since he was smart enough to know that a girl like Iris was way out of his league, and yet, with some help from Caitlin, his stepsister, he'd managed to land her.

"I still owe Caitlin for that. I really hope that she and Gabby will join Iris and I in the engaged group soon." Barry said and Joe smiled.

"You and me both. But now, let's get to work. Sapphire gave us Ralph's address, so I suggest we have Gabby meet us there and you put the rest of your team up to look into what Stagg's doing and what connection he might have to Ralph's disappearance." Joe said and Barry nodded in agreement.
