"Is this really necessary?" Gabby asked after Caitlin brought in Doctor Fate, who was now using a new host after rejecting Chloe Sullivan due to her mental fortitude not being as strong as hoped by Nabu or Kent Nelson, so to protect her sanity, she'd rejected the helmet of Fate. Well it had a mutual split, since Nabu wanted a host who didn't just have an affinity for the mystic arts, but also the mental willpower to avoid losing their mind. And the perfect candidate for that turned out to be none other than Kent Nelson's own nephew, Khalid Nassour, who was actually a recent graduate from medical school and was just like his uncle, with the mystical affinity required of Fate's hosts and the mental strength needed to avoid going insane from wearing it, but anyways, Fate was currently examining the damage done to Gabby's amulet.

"Yes it is. We need to know if the damage done to your amulet has compromised your powers." Caitlin said to her fiance, leaving no room for argument as Fate finished his examination.

"And it has. Now that it's been damaged, the amulet is leaking Amenadiel's power. And even if it wasn't, now that Michael knows where his brother's powers are, he'll keep sending his minions to retrieve it and could potentially trigger a new angel war when Lucifer realizes it too." Doctor Fate said.

"So, what do we do?" Gabby asked.

"There's only one thing to do in this situation to prevent a full scale apocalypse that not even the League will be able to avert." Doctor Fate said.

"Mind telling us what that is?" Gabby asked, wondering why these mystics always spoke in riddles.

"We have to deprive them of anything to fight over. The amulet must be destroyed. Especially since it can no longer do its job of safely containing Amenadiel's power and cloaking it from the angels. It's outlived its purpose." Doctor Fate said.

"But it's also a family heirloom and I'm not sure how I feel about destroying it." Gabby said, placing her hand on her necklace, inadvertently tracing the crack in the amulet.

"Gabby, I know this is hard, but the amulet won't work much longer anyways now that it's damaged and it's putting everyone in danger." Caitlin said and Gabby sighed, leaning back on her military training, since times like this was exactly what it was for.

"I know you're right. But this is the only thing I have left from my abuela." Gabby said.

"Gabby, I know you well enough to know that there's more to this than that." Caitlin asked.

"Okay, I don't know who I am if I'm not Celestial, since that power is the only reason I'm on Team Flash." Gabby said.

"No it's not. You're an excellent investigator and one of our primary combat trainers. Gabby Gomez is a member of Team Flash, not Celestial." Caitlin said and Gabby nodded, since she knew her fiance was right.

"Okay. But that still leads to the question of how do we destroy it, since it took the power of two angels to even crack it. We're gonna need even more power to destroy it." Gabby admitted.

"So we call in something even more powerful." Nabu said.

"You called." Abby Sawyer said as she walked through the Zeta Tube with her new daughter Astra in tow.

"Abby, what are you doing here?" Caitlin asked, since she was a friend since they were both doctors.

"Nabu called me, since I've recently come into some new power that can help destroy the amulet. Especially since I know where the Devil is and I have no desire for him to find out where it is." Abby said.

"What kind of power?" Gabby asked.

"I'm a Nephilim. A child of a human and an archangel in this case, which means I'm even more powerful than my angel parent." Abby said.

"Her magic combined with mine should be more than enough to destroy the amulet." Doctor Fate said.

"But we need to find a safe place to do it, since there's no way there won't be some kind of kickback to destroying such a powerful artifact." Abby said.

"She's right. We can't risk this place or the population of Central City." Caitlin said.

"We'll figure something out." Doctor Fate promised, knowing that this needed to happen sooner rather than later.
