Early one night a fire was raging in an apartment building as on lookers watched in fear and concern. In the of one of the apartments a mother and son raced towards the exit only for debris to block the exit. The two quickly back tracked as the woman held her son close as more and more of the roof collapsed. Right as the pair was going to be cursed under the burning wreckage a sudden but intense cold hit them.

After a few seconds and realizing they haven't been crushed yet, the boy hesitantly opened his eyes with them widening as he saw Big Chill standing directly in front of him . "W-who are you?" He asked with the bug towards here. "A friend who's here to help." Came the calm answer before Big Chill let out a large arctic breath extinguishing the flames in the room.

"Now let's get the two of you out of here." BC suggested as he headed for the door. It was evident the mother was understandably hesitant but her son had no such issue and with little choice she followed.

Filling out quickly into the hall Big Chill let out another ice breath in the hall. Before they could make it down however the stairs collapsed leaving them stranded up on the upper floors. Thinking quickly Big Chill moved to the outer wall and froze a decent sized amount before punching the frozen section creating rather large hole in the wall.

Gently grabbing the pair Big Chill quickly flew out of the burning building before gently placing them on the ground.

The surrounding people couldn't believe their eyes at what they were seeing and were already talking and taking pictures. Big Chill ignored this however and focused on the two he just rescued.

"Are you two well? Anything feel wrong?" He asked and the woman cautiously shock her head. "N-no I think I'm fine." She muttered still in shock before facing her son. "What about you Mikey?" She asked who nodded. "I'm fine, even got my cards." He muttered showing 3 golden Sumo Slammer cards.

Hearing such a carefree answer caused Big Chill to give a small smile but before the Rust Bucket. "Big Chill!" Gwen shouted from the passenger side window. "The fire was a distraction for a jewelry store robbery. The bad guys are getting away." Gwen was quick to yell surprising Big Chill before his eyes narrowed before his wings unfurled and took to the skies with the Rust Bucket following in close pursuit.

"Come on Uncle Max go faster, we're going to miss all the action!" Lucy cheered from the back as she looked out the window. "Easy sweetie remember the populace don't know about us so we still need to abide by the standard laws." Max reminded his niece who slumped over the dining table, her arms becoming goo as she did so.

Back with Big Chill he had found the thieves and they were quick to notice. "What the hell is that?!" The one in the back shouted. "Doesn't matter just get rid of it!" The driver shouted back as bot the passenger and backseat driver leaned out the windows and began to fire on the giant bug.

The bullets passed harmlessly through Big Chill due to his intangibility before the Necrofriggian let out an ice breathe that caused Ice to build on the road at a curve forcing the car to collide with the side of a wall.

ALl 3 men were groaning due to the collision but that was soon that was the least of their worries as Big Chill easily ripped the roof of the car before grabbing the 3 thieves and threw them onto the ground. "Up against the wall. Now!" He ordered causing the 3 to gulp slightly before placing their hands on the wall.

"W-what now?" The passenger questioned scared of the answer. "Now?" Big Chill repeated as several cops pulled up. "Now you're going to comply with the authorities as they take you in." Big Chill answered as doors slowly opened and the officers slowly got out of their cars, eyes locked on to Big Chill.

"Ah thanks for the help eh.... what ever the hell you are?" The highest ranking officer said as he slowly headed towards the alien. "Happy to help." Big Chill said extending his hand. The officer blinked in surprise at the gesture before a small smile crossed his face.as he gasped his hand and shook.

With that done Big Chill unfurled his wings. "Well if there's nothing else I'll be talking my leave." Big Chill already said taking to the air. "Wait!" Came the cry from the officer causing Big Chill to look down to the man. "Can you tell me why you decided to help? Don't get me wrong I'm grateful for stoping the thieves and for rescuing that mother and son if what I heard on the radio is right. But I'm curious why you've chosen to reveal yourself just to help us." The officer requested causing Big Chill to tilt his head.

"Why you ask? No reason really, I simply choose to act." He admitted with a shrug. "Just now that me and my friends are here to help." Big Chill admitted as he gestured to his Ultimatrix symbol." "I see." The officer muttered as he scraped the side of his head. "Well that's reassuring to hear but exactly how many friends are we talking here?" The officer asked getting a small laugh from Big Chill.

"Ten and counting."

"Yo Animo, I know you're in there!" A man shouted as he knocked repeatedly on the front door of a house, a sigh reading DR.AMINO hanging beside it. Grumbling as he fished a key out of his pocket he was quick to turn it and thus opening the door.

Inside he was meant with various kinds of cages used to hold all manner of animals with some being filled and others empty. The cries of animals also reached his ears as he ventured deeper in side. His face wrinkled in disgust as he took in a breath. "Smells like a zoo in here." He complained under his breath as he looked around for the doctor not noticing a figure lurking in the darkness.

It was when he was watching a frog in its tank did the figure approach appearing right behind him and in the reflection of the tank. The man let out a startled shout as he turned to face the one who was sneaking up on him.

He had pale green skin, yellowish eyes, and shoulder-length white hair. This was Aloyslus Animo and right now he was glaring suspiciously at the man. "How did you get in?!" He demanded only for the other man to glare back as he straighten his tie. "Pass key. I am still your landlord, remember" He reminded the doctor. "Or maybe not considering your rent is six months over due." He told the scientist who after a moment dismissed it entirely. "All of my funds go into my research." He told the man in a flat tone before pointing towards the door. "Now get out!" He demanded. "You're disturbing me."

"looks like you were disturbed long before I got here pal." The landlord remarked snidely before refocusing on Animo. "Listen Doc, You and your furry friends are out on the street, unless you can pony up the green." He threatened as he extended his hand.

"Pony up." Animo smirked as he turned and grabbed the frog. "Interesting choice of phrases. you must be an animal lover." He guessed as he placed the frog on the floor. "In that case you'll absolutely love this." Animo promised as he put on an odd looking helmet and chest dial made of house hold appliances.

The land lord couldn't hold in his laughter. "What's that? You a member of the mouse lodge or something?" He managed to get out in-between laughter. Anime scowled as he pointed towards the dial. "This is my transmodulator." He informed as he held up a finger. "Phase number 1. It creates and accelerates mutations at the genetic level." He told the landlord as with narrowed eyes.

"Observe." He invited as he turned the dial and a beam of energy emitted from the hat and hit the toad. All of the landlords amusement turned to horror as he watched the toad transform. It was now far larger then the man was with 4 red eyes, a pair of horns and orange bumps going up and down it's back.

The man backed away in horror but before he could flee the toad's tongue shot it and quickly pulled pulled him into its mouth where he struggled not to be swallowed. Dr.Animo grinned crazily as he walked up to the beast."I'm sorry I can't seem to hear you. Sounds like you have a frog in your throat." He said before laughing. "Or is that the other way around?" He continued before the frog spit the man back up now covered in slime as he hit the wall and passed out from the shock.

With the fun now ended Animo scowled as he held up a piece of paper. "So close to having what is rightfully mine." He muttered before gripping the paper angrily. "All I need is a few lousy comments to finish my work!" He screamed to the ceiling.

"So whatever your needs from hair-spray to state of the art electronics. You'll find them under one roof at the grand opening of the district's newest Megamart."

Animo blinked once at the TV before a smirk slowly grew on his face. "Ah. Just what the doctor ordered."

Line break.

At the Megamart our 4 heroes were walking through the store with max in the lead pushing the carts with the kids trailing behind each groaning slightly. Max chuckled hearing this. "Come on kids keep up, I told you the training would be tough didn't I?" He asked with Gwen grunting. "Tough doesn't begin to cover it." She grumbled.

Max decided until they could get proper equipment and training manuals he would put them through the same training he went through when he was part of the army which at the moment consisted of grueling physical exercise. Multiple sets of various exercises and long distance running to fully strengthen their muscles and up their training.

After that they would each go through their own individual training. Wes would be training his various aliens learning everything he could about them and how to best utilize each of them as well as incorporating his boxing skills into the best he could. Outside of that he focused a lot of time on the weapon aspect of training. Becoming familiar with the limited arsenal Max had in the Rust Bucket as well as reading over the manuals of various others.

Lucy focused on Lenopan abilities. Stretching, morphing and shapeshifting her body into complex forms to help further her limits. She also worked on producing more sludge as well as shooting masses of herself like adhesive projectiles. She was making quite a lot of progress, especially since Max contacted her cousin Camillie and asked her for any trips went it came to training.

Last but not least was Gwen. When not focusing on her Jujutsu or her acrobatics Max had her focusing on team formations recognizing her natural talent for strategy and wanted to cram as much knowledge into her head as he could. This also meant she was also tasked with learning weak points to both alien technology as well as alien physiology something that has lead to mixed results and many massive headaches.

In summery despite all the soreness and frustration progress was being made which caused Max to bubble with pride and the kids to continue on with it despite the protest their bodies were giving off.

"Easy for you to say Great uncle Max, you're not the one who's sore from head to toe." Lucy groaned before muttering under her breath. "I didn't even think Lenopans could feel sore." The rest of the group still heard this and Max laughed. "Ah that just means the training is woking sweetie." He reassured her before turning and picking up a can before reading it with a frown.

"Only canned Octopus?" He asked disappointed as he examined the can. "I thought this store prided itself on a wide selection." Max muttered in disapproval before placing the can in the cart. and moving on. Gwen noticed this and grimaced. "Ah Grandpa no offense but can we have a normal dinner for once? You know one that doesn't involve stir fried tentacles?" Gwen asked a little snidely which just caused Max to laugh. "Nonsense now where do you think they keep the sheep's bladder?" He wondered causing Gwen to grimace.

Following behind Wes turned over and saw a rack of DVDs and Games. "Hey Mr.Max Mind if I go to go check out the media for a bit?" He requested having been given a card from his mother for entertainment as long as he didn't go over board.

Max looked over to where Wes was pointing before looking int the cart. "That shouldn't be a problem. We've already got everything we needed." Max told them looking over at the groceries he and the kids already got. "Mind if I go with him Uncle?" Lucy asked with a raised hand to which Max gave her a nod causing the two to high-five before running off.

"Well Gwen shall we make our way to the pet section?" He offered and Gwen followed closely behind. "Please tell me you aren't looking for our breakfast?" She practically begged as the two turned and disappeared down the aisle.

A few minutes later Wes and Lucy were scanning through the section. Lucy had a couple of CDs in her hands while Wes was holding a couple of DVDs and a discounted game. "So anything else catch your eye?" Wes asked and Lucy hummed a finger on her chin as she gave one last glance. "Hhhmmm. Nope." Lucy said leaning back. "Well than let's go find Mr. Max and Gwen and-."

BOOM

The wall exploded inwards sending everything on and near it flying. This included Wes and Lucy who collided with a couple of the aisles before dropping to the ground with groans. "Okay we need to ask Uncle Max to include bracing for impact to our training." Lucy groaned as the two got to their feet and looked to wards the new hole in the wall.

Standing there was none other than Dr.Animo on top of his mutant toad before quickly jumping off and grabbing something off the wall. He as calmly walking back to the frog when he saw Wes and Lucy standing there. "Sorry mister but I think you need to pay for that first." Wes was kind enough to remind the mad doctor. The toad however shot out its massive tongue forcing the pair to dodge.

"Don't be a hero children just run along and play." Animo cautioned the two 10 year olds. Lucy and Wes watched Animo turn and began to walk away before glancing at each other and each giving a nod. Before they could move however two security guards suddenly came running to the scene.

"Freeze!" The first one shouted. "Get down of that giant...frog! and put your hands up" The second one continued after his brain finally fully registered what he and his gasping partner were seeing.

Animo watched on in amusement before his pet easily leapt over them and quickly made its way further into the store. "We got a grab and dash in electronics. Male, 5'6 riding a giant frog! You can't miss it!" One of the guards quickly shouted into his walkie before turning to where he saw the two kids standing. "Are you two?" His question died when he noticed the two had disappeared.

Elsewhere in the pet aisle Gwen was playing with a hamster when the ground started to shake and both she and max were both shocked and startled to see Animo arriving. The mad doctor said nothing, simply turning the dial on his chest causing energy beams to fire off his head gear and hit the hamster and the cockatoo resulting two monsters now glaring hungrily at Max and Gwen.

"Arise to your full potential my pets!" Animo beckoned his fist raised into the air in triumph. The hamster snarled before lunging towards the humans. Max moved to shield his granddaughter but it proved to be unneeded as several globs of much spattered into the rodent causing it to shriek as it slammed into a shelf. "What the devil?!" Animo cried as he and his monstrosities turned towards the direction they came from.

As they slowly and cautiously approached Lucy peaked out from the isle they were hiding in. "You ready Wes?" She asked as the Wes went through his play list and found the alien he was looking for. "Yup." He confirmed as he raised his hand. "Let's run circles around these fools." He said as he pushed down on the watch.

"Oh XLR*." Lucy marveled as the alien picked her up and quickly rounded the corner just as Animo and his pets appeared. "Huh?!" Animo sounded looking around for whatever could have attacked the mutated hamster. "Hey ugly!" Turning around he saw Lucy in her alien form as well as XLR8 standing behind her.

Animo had to stop himself from gasping in shock. "A sentient golem made out of an unknown substance as well as a genetically and cybernetically enhanced velociraptor?!" Animo gasped in disbelief staring at the sheer impossibly of what he was seeing. "That's right doc, you starting to regret coming here? Lucy said raising a fist. To her annoyance Animo replied with a smirk. "On the contrary my dear, my only regret is that I don't have time to dissect the two of you. Alas I will be to busy making history or should I say pre-history while claiming what I deserve!" Animo laughed.

"I've heard enough." XLR8 muttered while closing his face shield. In less time it took for someone to blink the Kinecelcran was in the air in front of Animo. The mad doctor gave a startled and panicked yelp as the speedster tail whipped him off the frog and several aisles down.

The frog immediately went after it's master while both the hamster and bird were screeching angrily at the speedster Dino but the bird's attention was quickly redirected towards Lucy who smirked as she morphed her fists into bricks. "Let's go tweety!" She challenged as the bird accepted with a screech and took to the air and flew straight at her.

This left XLR8 to deal with the hamster who repeatedly lunged and tried to gnaw at him only for XLR8 to dodge with easy before running literal circles around the beast pelting it wit ha flurry of blows all over it's body. 'Well it's contained for now at least but I need to figured out a way to make sure it stays that way.' He thought wracking his brain. However once he saw some of the merchandise for sale he got an idea.

Racing around he grabbed as many of the sturdiest tires he could as well as heavy duty chains before quickly covering the monster's legs in the tires before wrapping it's feet in chains and nailing the other end to walls. That only left its mouth free but a few more tires settled that problem.

Meanwhile with Lucy she was using her flexibly to bounce around the shelves dodging the pecking from the bird and while returning her own hits upon the flying mutant. Her strength wasn't great however and the bird hardly noticed the impacts and with a caw shot out its talons and grabbed the young girl and slammed her into the aisle. Lucy was screaming in pain and the bird noticed this. Going in for the kill shot, it positioned its beak to where it would spear her through the heart before lunging forward.

Right before impact however Lucy melted straight through its talons and onto the floor causing the parakeet to head-butt the aisle. Pulling back the bird gave the equivalent to a confused look as it looked down at the puddle that was once its pray only to see it grinning back up at the bird.

"PSYCHE!" Lucy laughed springing back up delivering a kick straight to the bird's head causing it stumble back with a squawk. Lucy took advantage of this by once more morphing her hands into bricks before extending them and slamming them into the side of the bird's head. Unfortunately this didn't have the same effect as the kick and Lucy had to extend her arms to grab the edge of the aisle to pull herself away in order to avoid the retaliation peck.

"ENOUGH!" Animo cried getting everyone's attention from atop the frog's back. "You cannot stop me!" He threatened as he pointed at the two children. "When my work is complete Washington DC will be Washington BC!" Animo vowed before jumping onto the back of the the parakeet which crashed through the skyline with the frog following close behind.

"You saved the store!" The manager praised as he walked up to the pair with eyes full of gratitude. "If there's way I can repay you, anything you want just name it!" Lucy looked tempted but XLR8 quickly picked her up. "Thanks for the offer but what we came for just flew the coop." He told the manger before racing out of the store with Lucy whooping in his arms.

A small distance a way. Max nodding with an approving smile. "Needs work but definitely impressive with the limited training they have." The ex plumber evaluated while Gwen was less than enthusiastic. "Yeah they were great." She muttered looking down in sadness with a touch of jealously.

However she quickly snapped out of it when Max placed his hand on the girl's shoulder. "You'll get your chance Gwen I'm sure of it, but right now we've got a giant parrot to follow." He reminded her causing her to nod as the two raised out the door to keep up the chase.

Line break.

As the Rust Bucket raced down the street after Animo, Max couldn't help but let out a happy and nostalgic sigh. "Ah just like the good old days!" He reminisced however it soon became a frown as he turned to how was in the passenger seat.

"Come on, come  on." Wes muttered from the front seat his leg shaking as he kept his eyes on the doctor top the mutated bird, looking like he was fighting every instinct to keep himself from jumping and going after the mad doctor himself. A fight that he seemed to be losing if the glances towards the watch and his twitching hand was any indication.

"Easy Wes there's no need to get so worked up. We'll catch this guy." Max told the young man with a confident smile thought Wes still looked unsure, "I know that Mr.Max but it's still frustrating. I mean I could go Big Chill, capture Animo and turn his pet into frozen chicken wings! Or maybe-!" Wes would have continued had Max not held up a hand. "I don't doubt that Wes but that's not how we're going to work remember. Worth it be a hero or as a plumber we need to stick together, We also don't know what other tricks Animo has and I don't want you to face it alone. We're a team and that's how we're going to handle this, understand?"

Max explained all this with a gentle but firm tone that gave no room for arguments resulting in Wes giving a nod. "Yes sir." He agreed causing Max to smile. "Atta boy." He told Wes before looking into the rear-view mirror where he saw Lucy and Gwen on their lap tops looking for any information on Animo. "Any news girls?" He asked.

Gwen hummed before giving a triumph sound. "Got it! Five years ago Dr. Animo was a promising reascher in veterinary science, but it turned out he was doing all these twisted experiments where he was mutating animals." She spoke in disgust which was quickly shared with the others. "Piece of crap." Lucy muttered spikes growing out of her hands briefly as Gwen continued.

"But when he didn't win some big prize called the Verities award, he flipped out. " She finished as the parrot let out a squawk and flew off in another direction. "We've lost him." Max growled. "He could be going anywhere in Washington, DC." Max muttered with Gwen sighing. "Or Washington B.C." She added little snidely not noticing Wes's eyes widened as Animo's words rang in his head.

"I will be making history or should I say pre-history!"

"When my work is complete Washington DC will be Washington B.C!"

"That's it, I know where he's going!" Wes announced before quickly facing Max. "We need to get to the national history museum now!" He told the driver whose eyes widened in realization before quickly changing their course to the museum with all four hoping they could make it in time.

Line break.

It didn't take them long to reach the museum nor did it take them long to notice the giant hole in the wall. "Something tells me where on the right track." Max  now in his plumber gear couldn't help but comment with a smirk as Wes picked up a discarded feather.  "Good work Wes." He praised the red headed boy. "How'd you figure it out?" Lucy asked with Wes giving a light shrug. "It's not like he was being subtle about it." He muttered as the 4 quickly but quietly went deeper and deeper into the museum.

In minutes they had made their way to the prehistoric exhibit and were passing various exhibits when they finally found Animo. Animo feeling the eyes on him stood straight. "You are very persistent." He announced as a greeting before turning with an annoyed sneer. "I hate persistence." He informed.

The heroes weren't fazed in the slightest. "We know about your exhibits Doc and we're putting an end to them." Wes declared as Animo laughed at the claim. "Putting an end to them? Oh my boy they're just beginning! Now that I have the last components I needed I can move my experiments into their next phase." Animo spoke with triumph "The awakening of dormant cells." He declared as he approached the skeletal remains of a Mammoth. Lucy blinked confused before turning to her cousin. "Translation please?" She asked and as Gwen was about to answer, Animo beat her to it.

"Restoring life that has long since been lifeless." Animo said swiftly and before turning the dial on his chest. "Oversee!" He offered with a mad cackle as red energy once more surged to life before firing and hitting the mammoth's remains.

The 4 watched on shocked and in disbelief as the beast slowly started to come back to life.  Internal organs slowly repaired and started activating again as layers of muscle upon muscle covered them followed by skin and finally fur as the beast eye sockets were quickly filled.

The 4 slowly backed away in horror as Animo backed in his own brilliance. "Behold the genius that is Dr.Animo!" He cackled in victory before running off leaving the 4 to their demise. "Anytime now Wes!" Gwen pleased as the red haired boy was already going though his play list. "Right you guys get Animo while I-" Wes started to say only for Lucy to interrupt. "While we take care of Manny here!" She finished getting nods from Gwen and Max who quickly ran around the mammoth and after the mad doctor.

"So what's the plan?" Lucy asked her hands already forming glops. "Simple beat this thing quickly while keeping destruction to a minimum." Wes told her. "Easier said than done." Lucy muttered. "SO Big Chill? XLR8?" She questioned with Wes shaking his head. "I've got someone else in mind." Wes resounded before pushing the dial down and starting the transformation.

And when the purple light died down Lucy couldn't help but gulp at what she was looking at.

"W-W-Wes. what are you exactly?" Lucy muttered as she kept her nerves under control though it didn't help as Wes shining purple eye turned towards her. causing her to shiver. "Ectonurite. A ghost/phantom type of spices from the Anur system." He explained briefly. "Okay and why exactly did you go with this guy?" She asked nervously as the alien pointed towards the mammoth who as shaking.

"Figured old GhostFreak here could scare the big guy into submission." Wes told the young Lenopan who glanced at the mammoth who looked to be debating wither to choose fight or flight. Unfortunately for the two of them the formerly extinct animal had chosen flight.

"Incoming!" Lucy warned as the mammoth charged forward. GhostFreak raised its hand as a dark glow covered the claw with the glow covering the caret underneath the elephant, pulling out from underneath it causing it to go toppling down and skidding across the ground.

This unfortunately lead the mammoth on a direct collusion course towards the pottery section of the museum. "Crap! What do we do?!" Lucy questioned panicking as GhostFreak flew forwards until he was directly in front of the mammoth. The tentacles on GhostFreak's chest started to glow before an energy beam emitted from the writhing appendages. The mammoth roared in pain as it slowed its slide.

Luckily with about a dozen feet left to spare the mammoth came to a stop and with its equivalent to a snarl shakily raised to its feet. "Still want to go Jumbo?" GhostFreak asked raising his hand as the debris and cracked floor from where the Mammoth and steeped and fell onto rose in the air. "Well alright then we can play a little longer." GhostFreak smirked only to frown as he felt an itch in the back of his head.

'..t .e .u. ..l.... m.'

GhostFreak blinked as the glow faded from his hands as the rubble fell back to the ground. 'What was that?' Wes thought looking around. 'I thought that I-'"WES!" The shout from Lucy momentarily distracted him and with in that time the mammoth had charged and slammed itself into the Ectonurite sending him flying through the air. Because of the sudden hit Wes was dazed for several seconds as he slammed through the first wall. That hit however seemed to knock him straight allowing him to regain his bearings and use his intangibly to go safety through the next three walls.

Once he regained control he quickly flew back into the room where he found Lucy holding her own. Dodging the strikes from the mammoth while either shooting golds at the ancient elephant for knocking away the tusk with her hand morphed into a hammer.

The mammoth truly angry now reared back on its hind legs to stamp down on the girl causing GhostFreak to fire another one beam of energy toward it knocking it back down. Lucy grinned seeing this as she turned and saw the approaching ghost alien. "Wes! About time you got back here!" She shouted as GhostFreak landed next to her. "Sorry I thought I heard something." He told the mudpuppy who frowned. "Is everything okay? Are you still hearing it?" She asked causing Wes to shake his head. "It's fine. Whatever it was, it's gone now." GhostFreak told the blond who nodded though she still looked unsure.

"Alright, so what do we do with Manny here?" She asked and Wes put a claw to his skull to think for a second. Finally he snapped his claws. "Got it. I just need you to buy me a few seconds." He told the Lenopan who nodded. Leave it to me." She said before running a small distance away shooting sludge at the mammoth causing it to chase after her.

Acting quickly GhostFreak flew til he was near the ceiling and aimed his tentacles at the ground before firing a beam of energy towards the ground. The blast dug deep into the ground as GhostFreak levitated the debris away from the wreckage leaving a deep and spacious crater.

With the prep work done Wes quickly flew over to the mammoth and flew into the beast. The animal came to a stop as it struggled for control as Lucy who had seen the ghost enter the prehistoric animal watcher cautiously but hopefully. "Wes?" She asked cautiously tensing slightly as the beast stopped struggling and turned towards her. However when it gave her a nod she smiled in relief as she watched the now possessed mammoth walk to the crater before leaping into the hole causing the ground to shake slightly.

"So." Lucy drawled as she tried to keep her balance while waking up to the now trapped elephant as Wes emerged from it and floated next to the sludge puppy. "Your plan was to trap it into a hole?" She asked peering down to the elephant that was now trying to find a way out. "No my plan was to trap it in to a tar pit." GhostFreak explained as he transformed back into Wes before he went back to the watch, turned the dial and pushed it down.

"You want to help me fill it?" Wes's Lenopean form aka Muck asked Lucy who was now sporting a face splitting grin as she transformed into her native form. "You bet!" She cheered as the two filled quickly filled the whole to the brim. Thanks to how the Ultimatrix worked Wes not only became the pinnacle of any race he became but also a near encyclopedic knowledge of said alien. The result was that Mud Man was not only able to have harden the sludge rapidly unearth the elephant insuring the Animal didn't drown.

With the elephant now securely and safely Mud Man reverted back to Wes. "Come on Mr. Max and Gwen might need our help." He said getting a nod from the blond as the two quickly ran down the hall to where they had seen Max and Gwen run.

Line break.

Max and Gwen were hot on Animo's trail and had just turned a the corner only to jump back as the monstrous parachete standing guard. The bird let out a mighty roar as Max went for his blaster but Gwen acted quicker. Quickly spotting a spear on display Gwen quickly grabbed it before twirling it in the pair and beating the avian over the head before slamming it into the side of the bird's head. The assault spooked the bird causing it to retreat causing Gwen to smirk as Max looked on surprised. "Lucy and Wes aren't the only ones with skills." She was kind enough to remind her grandfather.

The two quickly rushed into the room Animo was in but the mad doctor just smirked as he once more activated his device. The two Tennysons watched in horror as the energy impacted and started to restored the remains of a tyrannosaurus. Max instantly got in front of Gwen while he drew his blaster as Animo quickly got on the back of his new pet. "I'd love to stay but I need to claim the reward I so rightfully deserve!" Animo gave his farewells. Max lined up a shot directly at Animo but both he and Gwen had to jump to avoid falling debris caused by the Dino's tail.

The two had just gotten to their feet when the parrot's squawking alerted them to its presence before swooping in and grabbed a now screaming Gwen by the backpack. "Gwen!" Max shouted in horror as he watched his granddaughter get taken away. "Mr. Max!" Wes shouted as he and Lucy entered the room. "Where's Gwen?" Lucy questioned with Max pointing towards the bird with both Lucy and Wes gasping in horror.

Wes's quickly turned to determination as he activated the watch. "Tweety wants an air battle eh?" He muttered before pressing down on his pick.

Jetray shoot into the air after Gwen as Lucy and Max watched on from the ground. However despite the situation Max noticed something on the ground, a piece of paper that Animo left behind and one that the retired plumber examined with interest.

In the skies it took Jetray mere moments to catch up. "Alright Tweety, how about you be a good like birdie and give me the girl nice and slowly." The alien prosed only to get an indigent squawk in return. "Yeah." Jetray sighed. "That's what I thought you'd say." He muttered before firing a purple beam of energy from his eyes into the back of the bird getting another shriek.

This also caused its grip on Gwen to loosen considerably allowing Jetray to swoop in and grab her from its saloons. "Everything okay?" Jetray asked getting a nod from Gwen though she did look queasy. "Just a little air sick." She muttered the aerophibian quickly got her back to the others. "Gwen!" Max shouted in relief at seeing his granddaughter unharmed. Jetray seeing the situation under control turned around.

"Right I'll go handle the bird. You guys go after Animo and I'll meet up with you later." Jetray proposed. "Wait a minute Wes, how are you going to find us?" Max questioned as he handed the scrap of paper he found to the boy. "Here Animo dropped this. And I think it'll tell us all we need to know." Jetrray quickly skimmed over and found it was about a scientist who had won the reward that Animo was after, even showing a younger Amino in the background.

"Good call you guys follow this and I'll get Animo when I'm done." Jetray offered and Max raised an eyebrow. Wait a minute how do you plan to find him?" The ex plumber asked and Jetray gave him a dull expression. "I was thinking I could follow the convey of police vehicles chasing after the dinosaur rampaging through D.C." He said before taking to the air and going to fight the pigeon.

"Uh, yeah." Max muttered scraping the side of his head. "That's a pretty safe bet." He muttered before clearing his head and turning to the girls. "Come on let's go. There's a chance we could to Animo's target before Animo." Max ordered as the three quickly ran to the Rust Bucket.

Up in the air the bird was trying to get in close to  swipe at Jetray but the aeropnhibian was much to quick and was able to nimbly dodge the bird before firing more lassoers  at it . "Sorry robin but I've got bigger chickens to grill, so-." He trailed off before shooting forward and began to circle the avian, scratching and poking with his claws and tail before firing a laser from both his eyes and tail hitting the bird as it was rapidly pushed to the ground.

When Jetray let up the bird was lying unconscious on the ground. "Now that's done time for Animo." The alien announced flying high in the air and looked for any sign of trouble. In less than 30 seconds he found Animo riding atop the dinosaur as dozens of police cars tailed them, no doubt trying to figure out how to handle the situation. Dive bombing down Jetray grabbed Animo from underneath the armpits. "What the blazes?!" Animo shouted before looking about and his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. 'Another strange creature!' He thought in shock before boiling rage started to build.

"Release me at once creature! I must claim what is rightfully mine!" He demanded as the tyrannosaurus roared at the alien. By now everyone's attention was on the alien holding the mad doctor while firing a laser from its tail hitting the dinosaur causing it to stumble back.

"Let you go?" Jetray questioned before smirking. "Sure. No problem." He agreed before grabbing Animo's helmet with left hand while wrapping his tail around Animo's midsection. "Right after this." He promised as he pulled it off his head and threw it to the ground. "My transmodulator!" He cried in horror as he watched in horror as Jetray charged up one more eye beam before firing it at the helmet, vaporizing it instantly.

The destruction resulted in a pulse that once it hit the dinosaur reverted it back to its skeletal remains which soon collapsed. "Now to honor my promise." Jetray smirked as he rushed to the ground and slammed the doctor into the ground knocking him out cold.

Seeing everything over the first officer stepped out of the car as Jetray ripped the dial from Animo's chest. "Uhhh thank you for the help." He said having not idea what to say exactly in this kind of situation. "No problem. I was just passing through." Jetray replied as he held up the dial. "I know this is evidence and all, but I'd rather not have to deal with Jurassic Park come to life again." Jetray told the officer. "Understandable>" He agreed with a nod while privately wondering just how the creature in front of him knew what Jurassic Park was.

The whirling of blades quickly got his attention and he turned to see an approaching news copter. "Well that's my cue." He said spreading his arms and quickly flying taking to the air. As the police watched him go the officer let a small smirk as he crossed his arm causing his sleeve to move a tattoo to be revealed.

Line break.

Wes awoke with a groan as he sat up. 'What happened?' He asked his mind a blur. The last thing he remembered was going to sleep after meeting up with Mr.Max and the girls. Wearily getting to his feet he started looking around. However he couldn't see much as aside from a few dimly purple lights darkness surrounded him."Hello." He called quietly hand already going to his wrist.

"You won't find it there." A woman her voice rich but with filled with rage and bitterness answered to his left causing Wes to turn to face the woman only to seer her covered in shadows. However even in the darkness he could see that she was chained to the wall.

"Whoa!" Wes shouted horrified and appalled as he rushed over to help her. "NOT ANOTHER STEP!" She shouted as a force seemed to impact him and forcing him back. "You've done enough already!" She spat in disgust. Wes was completely and utterly confused and horrified.

He caused this? How? When? What could he have possibly done to cause this and just how long has she been suffering? "Ma'am please who are you? How did this happen? How can I help you?" He asked in rapid succession as he racked his brain for a solution.

The woman just laughed a bit insanely. "How can you help?" She asked mockingly as she ignored the first two questions. As she said this however she started to walk forward the chains extending out of the walls. "Well there is one thing you can do." She said before lunging forward shooting out of the darkness as she shouted her next words as she became visible.

"I WANT OUT!"

And with that we bring Washington B.C to an end. I hope everyone enjoyed it and the aliens that showed up. And yes Animo didn't even get close to his prize here. Thanks to the ultimatrix Wes was able to time change quickly and I'm not going to nurf Wes for the sake of the plot. Just because these first few episodes are gonna seem a little to easy.

We also get a lot of Lucy action in this who is loving every bit of her life for now. As for Gwen if it seems like she didn't have much to do in this chapter. That was intentional. Trust me I've got it all figured out.

And finally Ghostfreak. First Yes Wes has his true form I don't exactly see a reason not to give it to him. He's one of my favorite aliens and of course I'm going to use his strongest form. I can't wait to show you how busted the ultimate I'm making for him is.

And yes he and Z'skayr are meeting early. Yes Z'skayr is a girl and yes she's one of the girls in the paring. A lot of female villains are actually. And if you don't like her design well don't you worry I've got an idea cooking up in my head.

Anyway I want to try and get through Kevin 11 before I start alternating between this and DFO. I've got so much of this planned out already I kinda just want to get past the starting line and jump straight into the fire.
