I glared and stood with my arms crossed, "Well?"

"It was your brother, since he knows you have a mate. Funny thing is, he doesn't know that his little sister doesn't even want a mate, nor does she love him. Instead she Loves someone else." Blake gritted out and chuckled angrily.

I gulped and stared at the girl next to him, her eyes on Blake. Her expression reminded me of when Gabriel would look at me.

She loved him.

"Leave, do not come here again Blake. The bond will wither away, and you will be free. "I opened the door and ushered them to leave.

They both started to leave, but Blake grabbed my arm. The tingling sensations ran up my arm and I shivered a bit. He stared deeply in my eyes, and I held my emotions in. I couldn't afford to lose someone else, even if I did not reciprocate the feeling of love. Funny thing about mate bonds between wolf and witch is that it is a bit more intense [ at least that is what I learned from Emma]. But if you are in love with someone else, it is weaker.

When they finally left, I cleaned my apartment from the residue of blood. I cleaned and cleaned. I wasn't sure what to do after cleaning. But I remembered that Gabriel had information and even though I hated his guts, I needed the information.

I grabbed my phone and searched up Gabriel's number, the phone didn't even ring twice before I heard a gruff "hello"

"Come to my apartment, you need to tell me whatever information you have on Arlo." I told him and hung the phone. I sighed deeply, and bit my lip waiting for the person who could help me.

Knock knock

I perked up at the sound of the knock and quickly opened the door to find Gabriel standing there with a white button up shirt and some dark blue jeans, I tried not to look at his face. I showed him in, and he froze when he got to the living room.

"It smells like wolf and ... blood" he sniffed a little more, I stayed silent and slumped on my little couch on the window.

"Tell me everything you know about my brother, and afterword's you can leave me alone." I said not wanting to face him. I was still hurt on his big bomb shell and I didn't want to see him.

I felt his green eyes stare at me, but I fought with myself to not look his way. I wasn't sure what to say anymore but I wanted to know where my brother was. I needed to know what the hell was going on with my life.

He sighed but sat down" Arlo Winchester is a persistent man; after his mate died. He turned into a merciless monster. The mafia quickly recruited him; of course, no one knows he is a witch or warlock. But he has indeed made himself known to everyone. There are rumors in the werewolf community where they plan to kill him, but they are too scared to go down that road without angering the witches."

I turned to look at him square in the eye, "Why does the werewolf community want to kill Arlo?" I was completely surprised at that revelation.

"He is in the human mafia Lilian, that means he is trafficking drugs into the neighborhoods and the teens in this generation are idiots who are taking it and dying." He responded while staring back, his green eyes filled with guilt but were quickly masked with another emotion.

"Where is he?"

"He is where every great person would be... He is at the tallest building in the city. BlackWood."

"WHAT?! He's there?!" I felt my jaw drop in surprise; I felt my blood turn cold. That building was notorious for the security and for people going in and never coming back out.

"Whatever your planning Lilian, you will not be able to get in there without some help." Gabriel's eyes turned hard with determination and he inched closer to me.

"I have a plan. I surely don't need someone who I can't trust with me." I responded but couldn't move as he stopped and stared.

"Maybe; but you don't know anyone to help you get in."

I bit my lip and stared at him with a glare; I knewhe was right. I wouldn't last a single minute once I am in. " Fine, but we dothis my way and this time next week Arlo Winchester will leave me the fuck alone.

i wonder what the plan is. And when will isaack come into play?

Will all of lilian's trouble come to end with her brother out of the way? Or will new ones occur??
