The next day, Hoseok woke up to knocking on his door. Actually it was more of a pounding that was threatening the door to break under the pressure. He got up and yawned; wondering who was knocking. He ruffled his hair and walked towards the door. The pounding never stopped once.

Hoseok opened the door to see Taehyung with his fist raised in the air. "Morning! Are you ready to go?" He smiled and let his fist drop.

"Go where?" Hobi questioned while rubbing his eyes.

Tae leaned in and whispered. "To go see your mate! What else would we be doing?"

Hoseok blinked then looked at the clock on his dresser. The numbers read 11:30 a.m. Then he turned back around. "She's not even there! Her shift starts around one!"

Taehyung blinked. "I thought you said around twelve!"

"Just meet me outside in thirty minutes." Hobi sighed while he closed his door.

Tae just huffed and went to do something that kept him busy for the next half hour. That meant finding any food that was in the cabinets.

Half an hour later, Hobi and Tae were now walking through the new area development area. The older male watched the younger look at everything in excitement. "This area looks nice," He commented. "It feels very fresh here."

Hobi hummed in agreement. The two of them were now starting to near the coffee shop. Hoseok could feel his stomach in flips and was starting to get nervous once more. He looked at Tae. "You ready?"

Tae nodded happily. They went into the shop and Hobi guided the younger one to an unoccupied booth. He saw Tae looking around wildly. "So, where is she?"

"She'll probably be here soon." He replied and rolled his eyes. "Just calm down."

Taehyung chuckled and cast his gaze towards the delicious looking treats they kept in the display case. He took a whiff of the air to smell the baked goods, coffee, tea and something so wonderful that his heart was starting to race. Wait.

The male blinked in confusion. He was smelling something so wonderful that he needed to go find it. Tae could feel his inner animal becoming restless. "A mate?" He thought only to himself.

"Tae?" Hoseok snapped his fingers in front of his face.

Taehyung was slightly startled and looked at his friend. "Ah, sorry I was eyeing that piece of pie over there." He jerked a thumb towards the case.

"They have really good pies here." Hoseok agreed. Suddenly, his posture changed as he sat up straight a smile was etched on his face. Taehyung was about to ask what was wrong when he caught the scent. It was coming closer.

"Good afternoon," A voice spoke up.

Tae whipped his attention to see a beautiful girl standing there. He could feel his heart pound against his chest and the world disappearing around them. His body now felt very warm and a low rumbled resounded within in his body. His mate.

"Are you okay?" The girl asked him.

"I-I'm fine," His voice was deep. "Just a little cough."

"Ah," She replied. "I'll give you two a few minutes then." She set the menus down and walked away. Taehyung's eyes followed her as he inhaled her scent.

"She's pretty, isn't she?" Hoseok asked, while looking at you with adoration.

"Huh?" Taehyung was whipped out from his stare to look at Hoseok. "Y-Yeah, she is."

"Well, that's my mate." Hoseok mumbled. "Are you satisfied that you saw her now?" He looked right at Tae and his eyes were a little dark.

"S-She's your mate?" Tae could feel everything else become muted. Then why did he want to call out his mate? The same person?

"Yep," Hoseok smiled. "Her name's (Y/N)." His cheeks had a light blush on them.

A shiver ran down Taehyung's back once he said her name. His brother looked so happy. He felt terrible now. How was he supposed to explain that she was his mate? Was this just a curse on the both of them? He looked at Hoseok's eyes and felt the warmth and happiness radiating from them as Hobi was staring at you. He then looked over to you and felt his heart starting to thump. His canines sunk into his bottom lip. "What do I do?" He thought to himself.

Your shift was almost over and you simply watched over the two remaining customers. Yuto was besides you, watching as well.

"Y/N?"

You looked back to see your boss. "Ah hello, Ms. Kim!" You smiled. "Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Yes, how do you feel working a double shift for the next two months?" She asked,

"T-Two months? You mean the late evening shift?" You questioned.

She nodded. "Yes, Mrs. Yoo recently had contractions and is most likely expecting later or tomorrow. So, she needs to take some time off for her leave."

You thought about it. An extra shift would mean more money and you can add that to your tuition.

"Or," Your boss started, "Is that too much shifts for you? I can split it up between you and Yuto. You two are the ones I trust to close up the shop and you guys have more experience."

"Hm, what do you say, Yuto?" You turned back at him.

"Sure." He smiled brightly. "Thank you."

"Alright," The older woman smiled. "You'll guys start tonight and please be safe getting home. And I have to go to the other city to manage the other shop tomorrow as well." She handed the ring of keys to you. "Don't burn the shop down, alright?" She winked.

Yuto and you smiled and said "thank you, we won't."

The woman left the two of you and you stuck the ring of keys in your pocket. "Wanna take the first shift or me?"

"I'll take it." Yuto said and quickly fished the keys from your apron pocket. He winked. "You can do it tomorrow, now clean that booth."

Before you could reply, he went to tend to a customer who just entered and was standing at the counter. You grabbed the disinfecting bottle and a rag before heading to the booth. You blinked in surprise as you grabbed a phone off the table.

The people who sat earlier was the sunshine guy, Hobi and his friend. They had just left a few minutes ago. You decided to go out and see if you could spot them, but you doubted that. That is until the door opened and you saw Hobi standing there, slightly panting.

His eyes looked in your direction and you swore you could feel the heat radiate off from them. He walked over to you. "I'm so sorry but I left my phone here." He explained with worry etching his face.

"Oh is this it?" You handed him the phone.

He nodded. "Yes!" He quickly grabbed it, his fingers slightly brushing yours. "Oh by the way, um," He rubbed the back of his head. "Um, I have these two tickets for a small festival at the park a-and I was wondering if you wanted to go? To repay back for finding my phone!" He added.

You blinked at him in surprise. He seemed to be like a nice guy. At this point, the two of you were acquaintances. You were slowly starting to learn about his habits, like he slightly pouted every time he was on his phone or how he didn't like black coffee; only sweet ones. "Um, sure. When is it?"

If possible, his eyes widened as saucers but then they scrunched up when he smiled. It was cute. "Actually on the twenty-second! So in about two days around seven p.m. Where do you want me to pick you up or want to meet at the park?"

"How about we meet at the park?" Sure, he was cute and friendly, but you didn't want him to know where you lived yet. "By the fountain? I think I have a late shift that night too so that works better."

"Okay!" His smile was still on his face. "I'll meet you there then! Bye!" Then he took off like a cheetah.

You were just as surprised as you saw Yuto come up besides you. "Did you actually agree to go on a date?" He raised an eyebrow.

"No!" You slightly whacked his arm. "He just wanted to repay me for not selling his phone." You began to wipe down the booth.

Yuto hummed. "Sure, anyways you can go home after you finish since your shift is over in a minute." He walked away.

You smiled brightly at him. You finished wiping down the booth and headed towards the back. After grabbing your things, you walked by Yuto. "You'll be okay?"

He rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I got one of the workers coming tonight. Go home and text me when you're safe."

"Sheesh. Why do you sound like my dad?" You raised an eyebrow.

"Because. Now shoo." He waved his hand.

You hummed. "Alright, see ya tomorrow." You walked out of the cafe into the afternoon light.

Outside was warm and inviting. There was quite a few people shopping downtown. You walked through the crowd of people. They simply brushed past you and then you reached a corner, waiting for the crosswalk with others. You then stumbled a bit as someone slightly bumped into you.

You turned around quickly to give them a piece of your mind and you stopped immediately. In front of you was a man, probably a year younger than you. His brown eyes stared right into yours and his mouth was agape.
