Wendy Runs Away
~Wendy's runaway bag in picture~

The next few days went by and Wendy still had not come out of her room. She was so angery with me the other day, more than she had ever been in her life. At meal times I would leave a tray of food by her door for her, when I got back they were empty and she still didn't come out.
By the third day after my therapy session with the oompa loompa therapist, I decided to talk to her, I went at three o'clock during our Daddy-daughter time, hoping she had cooled down by now.
I knocked on her door. "Starshine?" I asked though the door "do you to spend some time with Daddy? It's three o'clock?"
No answer, I expected that though. I opened the door and peeked in. Then I opened the door wider and found out she was gone!
I ran around her room calling her name, but still no answer. I alerted the oompa loompas and we began searching the factory for her, after all how far could she have gone?

I walked the snowy streets of the village toting my red velvet bag with me. I figured I couldn't stay in my room forever so I decided to run away. The problem was I had no idea where I was going to stay, honestly I didn't think I'd get this far!
Heck, I didn't think I'd get past the factory gates!
I walked around for a while, exploring, until I found Charlie standing outside a barber shop.
"Hi Charlie!" I said brightly "what's up?"
He turned to me. "Wendy?" He asked "What are you doing here? What are you doing outside the factory?"
"I ran away!" I said happily.
He looked at me surprised. "Why?" He asked.
"Because Daddy didn't want me" I said.
"Really?" His eyebrows shot up.
"Yes and I don't want him, by the way, can I stay with you?" I said the last part really quick.
"Well I would like it if you did..." he said.
"YAY!" I clapped my hands excited.
"...But we don't really have the room" he finished.
"Boo..." I whispered sadly.
"Do you have any other family you can stay with?" He asked.
"Well, there is my granddad, but he doesn't even know I exsist!" I said sadly.
"Well, I'm sure he would like to see you" Charlie said supportively.
"You really think so?" I asked.
"Nothings impossible" he told me.
I smiled at him, maybe I was wrong to think Charlie couldn't be trusted with the factory.
"Thanks, Charlie" I said "but granddad lives four towns from here, how will I get to him?"
"You could take a train from the train station" he suggested.
I gasped happily. "A real train?!" I sqeauled.
"Of course" he said.
We walked to the train station togther and I boarded the four o'clock train on my own. I still couldn't believe it: I was going to see my granddad!

We had literally turned the entire factory upside down looking for Wendy. WHERE WAS SHE?!
I rummaged through her room looking for some type of clue as to where she could be. Then I saw a purple envolpe tucked under her pillow.
I picked it up and ripped it open inside was a little plum-colored peice of paper that read:
To whom it may concern,
Wendy Wonka regrets to inform you that she is has run away to where she will be needed... Wherever that my may be. And don't bother coming to look for her at the Bucket house, because she wouldn't be there.
Sincerely Wendy Wonka.
I read it three times over, then ran for the great glass elevator and hit the up and out button once again.
I landed in town and found out Charlie was giving shoe shines.
"Charlie!" I pointed at him and rushed over to him "Where's Wendy?! I can't find Wendy! Have you seen Wendy?
Where's Wendy?!"
"Mr. Wonka! Calm down!" He said "Wendy is fine! I just sent her to her grandfather's house!"
"Oh, I see" he said calmly. Then I realized what he had said and yelped.
"YOU DID WHAT!?" I yelled.
"I sent her to her grandfather's house" he said "she said it was the only other place she could go."
"My father is a candy-hating dentist!" I told him panicking "Who knows what he'll do to my little Wendy! He's probably going to give her braces! Just like he did with me! Come on Charlie! We gotta save Wendy from a life of headgear and metal-mouth insults!
We got in the great glass elevator and took off.
AN: Will Willy and Charlie save Wendy? What does Dr. Wonka have in store for Wendy? Will the author ever stop asking ridiculous questions? Who knows!
