All of Nalvace was congregated in The Congregation Lawn and the citizens curiously waited to hear the important declaration that the ruler of Nalvace , Nix Damon urgently had to declare.

He declared: ' Ladies and Gentlemen, for the past six years, Nalvace has been facing severe attacks and destruction form various dangerous creatures from Hell Forest like Hayaenodons, Skylarks and many other vicious beasts. But I believe that we can keep Nalvace protected from such creatures forever because now I understand that Nalvace had become a very vulnerable place, as we had lost its Silver Opal. He continued, 'the Silver Opal is missing from its Opal Wand because of Flinzria, which is a giant frilled lizard misunderstood it as it's egg & took it to the Cave of Monthero, where it lives. The Silver Opal has special, extraordinary powers & when it is placed on its wand, it flashes a blinding, bright white light across Nalvace and conjures a transparent curtain of protection over our land. That curtain of protection is unbelievably strong and cannot be broken down by anyone, no matter how strong they are because the silver opal is eternally powerful.

There for I have decided that Wendy along with her friends, Harvey & Jenna will go on a quest to the cave of Monthero & safely bring back the silver opal from Flinzria's grasped Nalvace. I have chosen Wendy, Harvey & Jenna because I they persuaded me to let them go on this quest and I trust them because they accomplished their mission earlier as well. Let's hope for the best. Ladies and gentlemen thank you for your attention.' By this Damon ended his speech.

'I have never set on a land quest and faced a giant lizard in eighteen years. Earlier I went on an underwater quest and almost got eaten up by a giant, red crab. I hope I succeed in this quest as well. Wendy wondered when she went back home from the Congregation Lawn and plopped on her bed.

At noon, the next day, for Wendy, Harvey and Jenna, the mayor had arranged some teachers, trainers and experts who gave them tips regarding excellent survival and slightly harsh trainings to physically and mentally prepare them for the quest.

After the training session ended, they were provided with helpful weapons which included three pairs of bows and arrows, swords, axes and hammers, along with a vehicle called a Propellcar, which was the combination of a small car and a helicopter. Wendy, Harvey and Jenna were told by the mayor to take as less days as possible for them, for the benefit of Nalvace. And with that, the three bold friends set out on a hazardous and life risking adventure.

The Propellcar landed only two meters away from the Cave of Monthero, after flying for two consecutive hours. As Wendy had been a confident and courageous leader in their previous quest, she was chosen to be the leader of her friends through the current quest as well. That was why, she was also the first one to get off the Propellcar , gently, so that Flinzria inside the cave couldn't hear them and they took a deep breath and tip toed inside the cave.

Inside the cave, only its entrance was lighted by the sunlight and the inner and deeper part of the cave was lighted by some queer, miniature objects which seemed like colorful light bulbs. On one side of the cave was a low, get, stony wall and on the other side were six passageways, all lighted by the same mysterious blubs and all leading to different areas of the wide, lush green and lonely plains outside the cave.

' It's pretty chilly in here and it is so dark as well those weird light bulbs or whatever they are, are so dim." Jenna complained.

Are you daft!? Those aren't light bulbs aligned by the wall they are fire flies & glow worms." Harvey corrected Jenna, stepping close to them.

All of a sudden, Wendy heard a queer, groaning noise that sounded like a yawn. The noise slowly started to get louder & louder and soon Harvey & Jenna heard it too. They all started to walk faintly further and further into the cave, with their weapons pulled out in front of them, ready. They strained their ears and tried to hear carefully, that where exactly was that strange noise coming from.

After a moment of bewilderment, Wendy, Harvey and Jenna went through the second passageway & to their utmost astonishment, ten feet away from them in a leafy nest over a pile of purple eggs larger than a football, lay a crimson red, scaly & thorny frilled lizard. It was Flinzria. The Flinzria was at least seventeen feet tall, snoozed in its nest with a ferocious grin on its face, long, leathery eye lashes and had a deep, heavy breath that reeked of raw meat. As it twitched its mouth and swished its tail slightly, chills went up Jenna's spine and she along with Wendy and Harvey instantly hid behind a tall boulder nearest to them.

Wendy immediately conceived a plan in her mind and narrated it to Harvey and Jenna. She stepped away from the boulder, threw small stones at Flinzria and just as it woke up from its sleep and gazed here and there, bamboozled, Wendy reluctantly marched in front of the beast that was dumbfounded to see her and her heart started to pound. Flinzria started to crawl towards Wendy with its short, twisted feet, bearing rows of jagged teeth, a hard stare through its narrow pupils giving it a stern, wicked look and trying to sniff her strongly.

Meanwhile, Harvey aimed at Flinzria's body from behind the boulder and threw two razor-sharp axes at the lizard. Luckily, at least one of the axes hit the lizard and caused a deep cut right through its rigid and leathery back which made Flinzria give an ear-splitting moan and yelps.

Resultantly, the beast turned back, but taking an advantage of those few seconds, in a spur of a moment, Wendy shot two arrows which passed right through Flinzria's shoulders, causing it move away from its nest to protect itself. Instantaneously, Jenna raced to its nest and yanked out a gleaming oval-shaped stone which she guessed would be the Silver Opal.

' Run out of the cave to the Propllcar!' Harvey warned Jenna vociferously.

Flinzriamadly chased Wendy with its frill with pointed tips standing out in the air. Itgripped her body by its small but blade-like teeth, swayed her from right toleft in mid air and threw her down from four feet above the ground, causing aserious bleeding bruise in her back and legs. She lay on the stone cold ground like a dead cat at the side of a road with her eyes shut and her body as still as a statue.

" No! Don't be...dead. " Harvey thought with tears filling in his eyes.

Filling with rage, Harvey picked up a silver hammer and spun it in the air in the direction where Flinzria stood.

' Missed, no!' Harvey wailed when the hammer accidently hit the wall.

There was still one hammer and an axe left with Harvey. He prayed in his heart for the hammer to hit the lizard and just as it started to chase him, spun the hammer around in the air and it struck its head .Flinzria weakly and helplessly fell to the ground, unconscious.

Harvey stood there, frozen for some while but then, when he saw that Flinzria wasn't moving at all, he gave a sigh of relief and weariness. Harvey hastily charged towards Wendy who was lying in a corner like a Caracas. He immediately felt her heart beat and breathing but he couldn't feel anything. Her body was slowly but surely getting cold. Harvey rushed outside the cave to call Jenna in.

'Jenna! Come in at once, Flinzria is down but not for long. I have an awful but important news.' Harvey called to Jenna in loud voice that echoed in the cave.

Both of the friends gathered around Wendy and silently wept. They had nearly forgotten that Flinzria was still there. They were planning to carry Wendy out into the Propellcar together, when Flinzria woke up with a shrill cry as it saw them.

'Go, go, go!!' Harvey exclaimed to Jenna and she breathlessly rushed out of the cave.

There was a distance of inch between Harvey and the lizard. He knew that if he carried Wendy out of the cave, it would make him run slow due to her weight on him and Flinzria would easily catch him, so he gave Wendy a last kiss and just as the lizard was about to grasp him by his waist, he scooted out of the cave and somersaulted into the Propellcar where Jenna had been waiting for him. The air craft wasn't very high in the air, when Flinzria who had chased Harvey out of the cave, tugged at the Propellcar and tried to pull it down onto the ground.

Surprisingly, something hard hit the lizard on its head, causing it to fall to the ground and its head to bleed. Shockingly, behind Flinzria stood no one but Wendy Parlor, herself.
