3rd person P.O.V

Judy and Nick had to be the smallest mammals at ZPD.

Okay that sentence can fill your head to the brim with many different thoughts such as "how did they not get trampled on?" Or "how did they drive a car?".

The answer was simple- they almost couldn't.

It was well into Nick's fourth week at working at the ZPD and it bothered him greatly to see that he was part of the "small animal group". Most of the other animals ranged from five times his height where as he and Judy were roughly 4-5 feet.

Of course his partner, Judy, couldn't care less. She was more than ecstatic to be a bunny cop and lead as a great role model for prey and small predators alike.

"Hey Carrots," Nick called to her. His bunny friend swiveled her head towards his direction and raised a brow, signalling him to continue. "How do you put up with all this?"

Judy frowned in confusion. "Put up with what exactly? She asked, jumping down from the over sized chair.

Nick climbed down as they exited the roll call room, gesturing behind them. "We are so tiny compared to the others, and that doesn't bother you?"

"Uh yeah well you see about that, I've trained with bigger animals before I came here... I kinda don't realize it anymore." She smirked, pulling out the office key which was hidden under the doormat.

"Okay but how can you seriously not notice this?!" Nick exclaimed, waving his paws towards the giant office door and key. Judy shrugged and picked up the key with one arm and jumped against the opposite door, landing on top of the door handle.

"See? Not to hard." She exclaimed, bending down to insert the key in its lock. She jumped on the handle and swung down, kicking against the door and landing safely on the ground as it opened.

"That's cause your agile and flexible and what not." Nick pointed out, entering the room and shutting the door behind him. His eyes wondered to the giant desk in front of him that was paired with the giant seat. "Not even tiny furniture?!" He gasped.

"Don't you have an office? They are all the same size!" Judy exclaimed as Nick shook his head.

"Nah you got the office cause we are partners and somehow Chief Bogo trusts you." Nick said.

"Yeah that sounds about right- don't worry, I'll talk to him for you so we can share, seeing as this room is pretty big." Judy offered before bounding onto the chair then table.

"Honestly Carrots, we deserve a way bigger pay for the extra lengths we go to not get squished or make it on time." Nick sighed. "Can you help me up please?" Judy laughed at her friend who somehow was dangling off the side of the chair, clawing rapidly at the seat.

"Your a fox, you have a unique way of getting out of tough situations, figure it out." Was all Judy said before picking up the giant pencil and beginning to write on the overly sized "A4" paper.

"Your- gah- kidding me, that-GAAAH- paper is as big as you!" Nick said, clawing at the seat.

"Mhmm, are you up hear yet?" Judy turn to see Nick half sprawled on the chair, laying flat on his face.

"Almost." Nick muttered into the plastic. He scrambled up and pumped his fists in the air, creating a victory dance while giving a small victory "toot- toot".

Judy laughed. "Great! Now get up over here." She directed him. Nick wanted to pass out.

"Will we ever get furniture out size?!" He exclaimed. Judy stopped writing and looked at Nick.

"In one week." She said as Nick groaned loud and clearly for any animal who passed by their office.

"No no no! I can't climb up this crap all the time! Either I don't and you do all the work or I attempt to and I end up ripping holes everywhere." He gestured to the claw marks he made.

"To be honest, either way I always do the work but I reckon you should try get up here, good exercise for you." She said. "Besides, you still have to figure out how your gonna take down bigger guys and move around bigger objects." She pointed out.

"How do you do it?!" Nick gasped, jumping onto the table, only to fall back to the seat.

"I use my strongest points- jumping?" Judy questioned him as if he didn't know any better who, for all Judy knew- didn't.

"Well I ain't a bunny who can jump!" Nick stressed.

"But you are a fox with fricken retractable claws!" Judy argued. "Use them to hold onto the damn table and wall climb!" Judy sighed at Nick's stupidity.

"Oh right..." Nick said. "Yeah how about I try tomorrow? I'm pretty tired." Nick said.

"Okay." Judy smiled, "and if you can make it up here before our furniture comes in, I pay for coffee for the next month." Nick smirked at her.

"If you insisted Carrots." He said, "if you insist."

Judy jumped to the computer and pressed some keys. "It's says foxes are the only type of dog, canine species et cetera to have retractable claws." Judy informed me.

"You just told me." Nick said.

"I know but you usually don't trust me unless I prove it with the Internet." Judy pointed out.

"I'm a fox, I should know that." Nick said.

"But you weren't smart enough to use that ability." Judy argued, causing Nick to sigh in frustration.

By the end of the week, Nick hadn't made much progress on getting up to the table. However this gave Bogo a bigger excuse to replace the table Judy was working on, seeing it was full of claw marks and holes. Of course Nick was rather mad he couldn't climb up a damn wooden table and it made him even angrier whenever Judy would hop on and off the table to tease him.

"You must really not want all those coffees." She taunted him, returning to her paperwork.

In all seriousness, Nick forgot about Judy's promise. So when he was reminded about all the glorious coffees he could have had for free, it got his blood pumping because hey- it's kind of obvious he likes free food and drinks.

"Come on Nick! The furniture will be here any minute!" Judy called, crossing her legs.

Nick huffed as he glared at the table which, to be honest, didn't look so much like a table anymore. In fact it looked more like a broken fence with all the ruined wood. "Carrot's I'm trying!" Nick scrambled up the table leg before slipping down.

"Are you sure you are self accomplished at all?" Judy asked. Nick rolled his eyes.

"Okay last try." Nick huffed, clawing his way up the table. Of course the exercise was redeemed pointless but to Nick, it was gonna bother him if he didn't complete this task.

Judy jumped up and down. "Yeah! Go Nick!" She called, smiling happily when Nick past his previous goal. Nick was tired, oh so tired from all the climbing he had done in a week. His paws hurt not to mention his legs and he swore his muscles where torn from his body. Nick was sweating profusely by the time the office door banged open and Chief Bogo barged in, placing down a much smaller set of desk and chairs.

"You arrange the furniture Officer Hopps, the bookshelves will be brought in a second." Judy nodded to the Chief before returning her attention to Nick.

"Better hurry up Nick, after the bookshelves are in, this table is gonna be taken out!" Nick looked at her and sighed, clawing inch by inch up the table.

"No more Carrots... I'm a lazy fox who would prefers to keep his laziness!" Nick pouted.

"I ain't taking no for an answer..." Judy grinned. "What about all those coffees? Are you gonna buy ME them?" She grinned. Nick's ears drooped, he despised spending money, especially on animals he knew would use him to an advantage- Judy in this case.

"Okay that's enough." He said, jumping from his spot and grabbing the desk surface.

Judy's eyes lit up. "Come on Nick! Don't give up now!" She cheered. Nick of course felt, dead. There was no other words to describe the tiresome feeling his guts was giving him.

"Oh crap." He said, looking at the table surface where splinters of wood had chipped off.

The wood had started to break off where his claws had dug into the table, even worse, for him, he was dangling off the edge.

"I'm not starting this crap again!" He yelled, rock climbing to the side of the table that hadn't seemed as damaged. Nick used all the remaining energy he had in his noodle arms to lift himself up, surprising Judy when half his body was left dangling like a rag doll.

She jumped up and down. "YES! Yes you did it!" She cheered as Nick pushed himself onto the table, he flopped down and groaned about his aching "muscles".

"My muscles are so sore." He whimpered as Judy laughed.

"What muscles?" She jokes, helping him up.

"Ha ha very funny." He rolled his eyes as Chief Bogo entered the room.

"Hello officer Wilde, officer Hopps, here are the bookshelves, I shall be taking... That disfigured table and chair to...the dump." He said as Judy hopped down.

"Come on Nick!" She laughed as Nick sighed.

"Do you know how long it took me to climb up here?! And now I need to get down!" He exclaimed.

"Great, no one cares, see you later then." The chief waited for Nick to flop like a pancake to the floor before picking up the over sized furniture and leaving the room.

"Don't listen to him, he doesn't care about anything..." Judy waved a paw. "Help me set the office up!" Judy said, pulling the chairs and tables that were left in the corner.

"Could I take a snooze?" Nick asked, shutting his eyes.

"On the floor?" Judy asked.

"Yep, wake me when we go to get my first out of 100 coffees." He muffled, relaxing on the floor.

Judy smiled lightly and rolled her eyes. "Okay Nick - Noodle - Arms."
