I gazed out the window, my eyes falling upon the glorious sunset casting the land in a pink-and-orange blanket. It looked beautiful, although my heart ached. My eyes were glazed over, sadness tinting the scenery outside my window.

"So, sweetheart," my dad sounded from the front of the car, "like the ride so far?"

"I do," I choked on the words. It wasn't everyday you leave your home and travel across the country.

"Great, because we're almost there!" my mom cheered from the seat beside my dad. Five minutes of silence later, we pulled into the driveway following the large moving van.

"Woah," I admired, observing the house in front of me. It was white with a red door, which really stood out. I could also tell there was a large yard, and a driveway with plenty of space.

"Like it yet?" my dad spoke, clearly bribing me into saying yes.

"It's very beautiful," I inspected. I opened the door of the red jeep and hopped out of the old car. I stood, staring up at the white as snow house, thoughts racing through my head.

I wonder what this life will be like. I don't even know if this is right for me.

I continued to gaze up at the house, my new life right before my very eyes.
