Okay, here goes.

Things about myself:

• I am a terrible human being and haven't updated Parallel Hearts in several months BUT IM ALMOST THERE I SWEAR

• there is very little I wouldn't do for a French vanilla

• recently I decided my favourite colour was yellow in an effort to have a sunnier outlook on life, also it's totally working

• my best friend and I text so often everyone in her class is convinced she has a secret boyfriend, and we're not exactly doing anything to disperse the rumours it's too hilarious

• I am a mature and independent adult who still sleeps with stuffed animals and way too many blankets

• I write poorly disguised self-insert fanfics way too often because I don't realize that other kinds of people exist in the world, wdym my protagonist doesn't have to wear sneakers and plaid 24/7??? is there another major besides linguistics??? she... she's allowed to not like reading???

• I adored the back to the future trilogy and I have no idea why, I hate watching old movies bc if the actors are hot they're most likely dead or my grandfather's age

• people still sometimes add Sherlock's Apprentice to their reading lists and I leave a message on their wall going "thanks for adding my story! hope you enjoy reading it" despite the horrible pit of guilt in my stomach over the fact that it's only four chapters long and I haven't updated for a year

• yet I still cling to the hope that someday I'll finish an actual entire story and get published

• I loved the new Star Trek movies but I can't really get into the older series, guess I'm a fake fan ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A SPOILER?!?!? Noooo I would never.

You know what, fine.

Since I've recently fallen in love with Tom Holland I decided to use him as a character in Parallel Hearts that I've been thinking about for a while... he's going to play the part of Ash's teenage grandfather in a very Back to the Future-ish storyline I have planned for the middle of the book. I'm so excited I just can't keep my mouth shut about this. Here he is:

Johannes smelled of cigarette smoke and something a bit metallic. His fingers were long and calloused as they played along the base of his soda glass. With his other hand, he rubbed his jaw, drawing attention to the few pubescent hairs under his lip. For a boy with such confidence, he could almost be described as baby-faced, but his shoulders were broad and muscled under the rusty-orange jacket he wore.

I'm gonna stop there guys but yeah that was a pretty big spoiler, currently clamping both hands over my mouth to keep quiet 😂😂😂
