Lacerta, also known as the Lizard man is a highly dangerous creature. No one knows how long this SCP existed or if it was an evolutionary twist of fate. However any approach ends up deadly. It is advised not to come close to this SCP at any time.

In order to study animalistics as well as its instinct, it was moved to a special terrarium. Any scientist has to go through the safety protocol in order to approach it. That means the creature has to be sedated. Upon further research it was found out that the skin was rather hard. This meant that any kind of cutting with a normal knife or blade was impossible. However it was not enough for a bullet not to be able to hit the target or a needle to get through it.

The nature oLacerta is rather aggressive and it has a huge appetite for raw meat. Not only that but it is able to smell the blood from any living being in the air. Its nose is rather sharp. An experiment to try and tame this creature was also established, however it failed miserable and ended in the inhalation of the staff responsible for that.

Any other approach other than scientific research is prohibited.
