So let's do this shit.

There are seven villages and each have a symbol that are worn as earrings. This is just to differentiate where they would be from because... Eh I thought it would be cool.

Here's the villages and the symbols:

So some history:

Probably a hundred years ago, there began the surfacing of powers. These powers scared the people so they tried to find a way without killing them because... That would make shit worse.

So they found the Warping Well, which sends them to this other world but can't send them back. Better for the people, these have scary monsters that might just kill the magical abilitied children for them. Because... Child murder.

But when the first generation got sent there, they didn't die. Far from it, they actually were able to defend themselves. For a while. Then they made their society and villages and they live in the beautiful hellscape that is the Outlands.

More info because I don't know how I would introduce them:

-Recently, they decided that they would wipe the memories of the people they sent there. Because they're dicks.
-New powers are always being discovered so it's cool for you to be as creative as you want with your powers.
-You can either be a new member of the Outlands (Meaning you have no memory) or you can be an existing member out the Outlands. I'm not stopping you on that.
-The monsters are very hostile, but if you want to try, they can be tamed(Probably)
-Also, in this universe, you can have like any race you want. I mean like Elves or Fairy beings or... Whatever, just ask before you do it
-You can make as many characters as you want (Within reason) because I don't mind
