A Warning Part 3
Panicked faces, blood on the floor and the invisible Man nowhere to be seen.. what a perfect crime scene. Alfred and me took Seb to the nearby hospital. He was shot but was out of danger. I went to The Mounts to take a look with Alfred. Room number 145, 2nd floor was sealed. Not only 145, but also 150, 155, 160, 165 were also sealed. 5 luxury rooms, each room being first to enter in the 5 lobbies of second floor ( the only similarity I observed first) and 5 murders.
Andrew Merchant, Saul McCarthy, Louisa Willows, Henry S. and Hannah Joseph were the deceased. All have been killed with hatchet at the back. All the servants, managers, cooks, hotel staff were being cross questioned by Alfred. But nothing tasteful came out. All of them were tensed but then I noticed a woman whistling..as if she didn't care. She was a room cleaner. I called her.
"Have you seen any of the 5 in person? Have you served them?"
" No! I have only cleaned room no 145 once when Mr. Saul called up for room service. I completed my work and returned."
"Did he say something to you or did you notice something peculiar about him ? Tell me honestly!" But she was adamant, hanging on her words. I sent her away..but saw her having a sigh of relief. I DOUBT HER.
I decided to return to my friend. When I reached the main lobby, the receptionist told me that an old man of about 75 years had left a note for me.
I HOPE SEBASTIAN IS ALRIGHT...WHAT IF IT HAD BEEN YOU!! HAHAHA..NO WORRIES GOOD FELLOW. I HOPE YOU DO EVERYTHING TO LIVE LONG.
YOUR PAL
"Now it's getting better!!" I said to receptionist and winked. Didn't I tell you I'm very handsome. With the note in my pocket, I left for the hospital
