Richard Linklater, an amateur journalist by profession has been trying to uncover the mysterious truth behind his father's unexplained disappearance. His father, a Nam veteran was announced M.I.A after his whereabouts were lost among the horrors of war. Combing through countless archives of data, both digital and otherwise he has failed to track down what had really happened to his father. After burying an empty casket, he has come to terms with it while his mother had been laconic while discussing the issue so he didn't pursue it further.
