After saving Emma, there was a massive time skip that the game made me go through, making the months go by, resulting in me helping Connor look through multiple bars to find Lieutenant Hank Anderson. I can't tell you what happened between then and now because even I don't know. It was literally in a blink of an eye.
Connor and I have gone through multiple bars already and are now walking to Jimmy's Bar, in the pouring rain. I would've told Connor earlier that this bar was the one Hank was in, but I wanted to spend more time with him since this whole situation still seemed unreal to me.
The moon, stars, and streetlights lit up the roads as we continued to walk in silence, that is until Connor spoke up.
"Jimmy's Bar is right around this corner." He pointed down the street to a side road.
I let out a heavy sigh. "Thank god! My feet are killing me! This is the most exercise I've done in a while. Plus, I'm freezing and soaking wet" I exclaimed, rubbing both of my arms to try and make myself warmer.
Connor turned his head to me, probably scanning. "Your feet don't seem to be killing you as you stated, however, they do seem to have a bit of soreness. Your body temperature is also low. You could catch a cold."
Yup. He scanned me.
I shrugged. "Yeah, well, we're almost there so I'll be fine." I continued to walk on.
Connor stared at me as his LED turned yellow. He stopped walking. I turned my head, seeing him stop made me stop as well.
Fully turning my body towards him, I tilted my head. "What's wrong Connor?"
The android then makes his way towards me.
Okay.
I did not realize how tall this guy is.
He began to take off his android jacket and put it around me. I just stared at him as he did so. I grabbed onto the sides of the jacket for warmth. Connor moved away from me a bit but still close.
"Would you like to be carried, (Y/N)?" He asked.
Excuse me.
What.
My eyes went wide, so much so that it would put the moon to shame.
"I- wait, what? Why??" I asked in a crazy panic while also avoiding eye contact.
Connor tilted his head. "You said your feet were hurting. I would like to assist."
I looked up at him. I was a bit hesitant with my answer.
"Okay..."
With this confirmation Connor turned around and bent down with his arms out to his sides, motioning for me to hop onto his back. I took a deep breath as I put on Connor's jacket properly and moved towards him, hopping onto his back. I felt my face overflowing with heat as I mentally freaked out a bit because of how close I was to the android.
Connor stood up. I wrapped my arms around his neck as his arms held onto my legs, securing me in place. Connor turned his head towards me. "Comfortable?" he asked.
I nodded slightly into his shoulder, wanting to hide my face as much as possible. "Yeah. I'm good..." my voice cracked a bit as I said this.
Alright, I have officially lost my speaking rights. No more speaking for you, (Y/N).
Connor continued to stare at me.

He faced forward and continued to walk towards Jimmy's Bar. After a couple of minutes, we arrived at our destination. Connor walked in front of the bar and stood there for a second. I lifted my head as I stared at the sign.
"Well, this is the place. Hope the guy we're looking for is in here" I stated.
Connor continued to scan the place with a yellow LED. After looking at it for a bit, his LED turned back to blue. He walked towards the door.
"Wait, Connor," I said quickly. Connor immediately stopped.
"What's wrong, (Y/N)?" he asked.
"Not that I don't appreciate your help or anything, but I think I should walk into the bar myself." I scratched my cheek. "And it would kind of look weird to see an android carrying a human with his jacket on...they might get the wrong idea."
Connor nodded and did what was asked. He gently bent down so my feet could reach the ground. I removed my arms from around his neck and stood on the pavement. Connor stood back up and turned to me. I blinked for a moment then came to a realization.
"Oh! You probably want this back, right?" I asked, motioning to the jacket and beginning to take it off. Connor put his hands on top of mine, moving the jacket back over my shoulders.
"Your body temperature is still low. I think it would be best to keep it on until you have gained normal bodily heat." I felt my face heat up and immediately looked down, replying with a small okay as Connor removed his hands. I shook my head to hopefully get rid of the heat that had risen onto my cheeks.
Stupid emotions.
I seriously need to calm down. This isn't some romcom deal. We're in a situation that we don't know how to get out of. I have to come up with a game plan other than just being Connor's partner.
I need to know how and why I'm here.
I sighed as I turned to the door, seeing Connor was about to open it. We both took notice of the stickers displayed on the door. One was of a dog surrounded by a red circle with a red line crossing over it and another that definitely caught both of our attention.

I glanced to Connor, waiting to see what he does.
[Enter]
I shrugged and followed Connor inside. There were people scattered around, some were sitting on the bar island on the bar stools while others were in the booths. Soft jazz music was playing in the background while a television across from the door was showing a football game. Everyone's head turned to the door as we walked in, except for one whose face was hidden behind their curtain of grey hair. I closed the door behind me as Connor began to scan the place.
Find Lt. Anderson
Connor walked forward as he began to scan everyone's faces to find Hank while I trailed behind, already knowing where he was but following the android's path anyway.
"Shit, I thought androids weren't allowed in here!" I heard someone mutter under their breath. I shrugged them off and continued on with Connor. The android turned to the bartender and scanned his face.

Connor then turned to the man looking down at his drink in front of Jimmy and scanned his slightly visible face.
MATCH
LT. ANDERSON, HANK
Born: 09/06/1985 // Police Lieutenant
Criminal Record: None
Connor walked over to Hank's side while I stood beside the android.
"Lieutenant Anderson," Connor began, "my name is Connor. I'm the android sent by CyberLife. This is Detective (L/N)" Connor gestured to me as I waved saying a quiet hello. "We looked for you at the station, but nobody knew where you were. They said you were having a drink nearby."
"We were lucky to find you at the fifth bar" I chimed in.
"What do you want?" Hank grumbled in annoyance as he continued to look down at his glass.
Connor responded. "You were assigned a case study early this evening. A homicide, involving a CyberLife android. In accordance with procedure, the company has allocated a specialized model to assist investigators."
"And I'm also here to help out, even though I'm just a human" I added.
Hank finally looked up at us. "Well, I don't need any assistance." He looked back down, "'Specially not from a plastic asshole like you." I assumed that Hank was referring to Connor with that last statement. "So just be a good lil' robot and get the f*ck outta here. And that goes for you too, 'Detective'." Hank motioned with his hand to go away as he took another swing of his drink.
I felt a small vein pop out of my head.
I love guy, believe me, I do, but since Hank hasn't truly understood androids yet, he's a bit of an asshole right now, and those that are rude don't go unnoticed by me.
Connor seemed to notice me starting to get fired up and gently signaled me to stand down. I looked at Connor and sighed, understanding that I needed to calm down a bit.
[△] [Reason]
Connor turned back to Hank. "Listen, I think you should stop drinking and come with us. It'll make life easier for all of us." Hank nodded absentmindedly and drank more of the beverage in his hand.
[X] [Persist]
"I'm sorry, Lieutenant, but I must insist. My instructions stipulate that we have to accompany you."
I secretly smirked. I know exactly where this was going.
"You know where you can stick your instructions?" Hank chuckled a bit as he drank some more.
Connor tilted his head. "No...where?"
Pff
I tried to hold back a laugh with my hand, but some snorts slipped through while Hank looked at Connor with a 'bitch the f*ck?' face.
"Never mind" Hank grumbled.

[ ◯] [Buy Him Another Drink]
"You know what? I'll buy you one for the road. What do you say?" Hank stayed silent. Connor then turned to Jimmy. "Bartender, the same again, please!"
HANK ↑
[Neutral]
Connor put some cash on the table as I watched the scene before me.
"See that, Jim? Wonders of technology...Make it a double" Hank said as he held out his cup as Jimmy poured more of the drink in, which he chugged down in one go. Connor and I waited patiently as Hank finished his drink. He then sighed and turned to both of us.
"Did you say homicide?"
I smiled.
Now let the game begin.
