Escape

I slowly got up from the floor as I looked around as a little white diamond floated in front of me.

Y/n: Ugh, how long did you wait to revive me, Ghost?

Ghost: Three months.

Y/n: Why the hell would you wait that long!?

Ghost: The Grimm finally dispersed enough for a safe escape.

Y/n: Fine, I'll accept it for now.

I check my surroundings to see the giant Grimm dragon encased what looks like stone. I also saw Pyrrha's broken weapon and shield. I pulled out my scroll and noticed the screen was cracked, and there was no signal. I could still check my aura and saw it was in the red.

Y/n: You couldn't bring my aura up.

Ghost: No.

I proceed to go over to the edge of the tower as ghost disappears to wherever he hides.

Y/n: Okay, 15 percent of aura and I have to get to Vale. That's probably a gang war zone. Prof. Goodwitch could be there she could help send me to my girls. Just cause parachute and grappling hook.

The items appeared, and I put my back to the wall. I hooked the edge and launched myself off the tower. With the speed I gained, I opened the parachute and soared into the air. Once my assent ended, I decided to spawn in a wingsuit from a game I couldn't remember what game. The parachute closes as I start to soar across the water in front of Beacon.

Timeskip

I land in the middle of the kingdom. I look around to check my surroundings as I slowly make my way through the broken and damaged city watching for Grimm and trouble.

Y/n: Jeez, Ghost, how bad is the city?

Ghost: (In head) About thirty-four percent of the city is repaired, while only ten percent was never touched due to your intervention. By the way, you are passively generating super energy along with the other abilities that come with being a guardian.

Y/n: Good to know, though it's weird hearing you in my head. Anything else I need to know.

Ghost: You have access to all class supers. So solar, arc, void, stasis, and strand.

Y/n: Alright, so set me up with titan barricade with hunter strand, grapple, of course, and warlock strand melee.

Ghost: Done.

I duck down an alleyway and find a spot to rest for a moment. I need to rest and have my aura replenish.

Y/n: Do you happen to have my personal favorite hunter armor?

Ghost: Yes.

The armor materializes on as I look at my hud.

Y/n: Ok, I have my radar, and I have an idea when my abilities are off cooldown.

I sit down and lean against a wall, checking the radar every so often.

Ten minute timeskip

I noticed movement on the radar. I quickly got up and checked my aura. It was at twenty-five percent. I slowly move towards the end of the alleyway as I near it. I hear glass breaking. I looked out and around and saw a group of four thugs breaking into a locked up and abandoned shop. I sneak up as close as I can as I see two of them grab things from the display as the other two jumped through and started grabbing things inside. I managed to silently creep up on the two outside and put up a barricade, sending out the strand wave suspending the two would be crooks.

Y/n: Why don't you hang around?

3rd person pov Patch

We see both Yang and Cayde currently arguing in the living room.

Cayde: He had a plan!

Yang: Oh yeah, great plan going after someone clearly stronger than him.

Cayde: Well, he still had a final wish, and that was to watch over his girls.

Yang, having enough of this conversation, proceeds to leave Cayde in the living room and went up to her room. Ruby soon comes into the living room after Cayde plops himself down on the couch.

Cayde: Hey there, kiddo.

Ruby clearly still had red eyes due to crying but clearly turning back to white even if it's slowly.

Ruby: Hey Cayde.

Cayde: So... when do you plan to leave?

Ruby: (wide-eyed) Uhhh... W-what do y-you mean?

Cayde: I've had my fair share of half-baked ideas, and you have the same look I have when I have one.

Ruby: I-I... I'm going after the ones responsible. I'll be leaving within a week.

Cayde: Good on you.

Location change Schnee Manor

We now see Weiss in her room, the pip-boy still on her arm given a white paint job and the schnee emblem. The sentinel was stationed at the door and also given a paint job. It was now painted white and blue with the Schnee emblem on its chest and shoulders. Any and all attempts to disassemble and make more were fruitless due to the fact that, one, it can not be deactivated, and two, the bolts and other obvious ways to take it apart seem ineffective and never comes off. Weiss at the moment glanced back at the robotic bodyguard, clearly upset that its old paint job is gone, removing one of the last things to remember her lover by. Sure, she still had the bodyguard, but the individualism that the old paint job had given it was gone. It also reminded her of her time on earth, making her more emotional. The only reason for the paint job was that her father thought it looked silly and should look the part if it's guarding the heiress of the Schnee dust company. She threw one of her crown like hairpins at it, causing a metallic clang. She turned and was about to turn in for the night, but a sudden voice caught her off guard.

Y/n?: Please tell me I got this to work right.

Weiss: Y/n?

She turned to only see sentinel. She was about to think she's going crazy and needed more sleep when she heard him again, except it was coming from sentinel.

Y/n:(Sentinel) Is this thing recording? Ah, hopefully, it is stupid fallout holotape tech it is so hard to figure out. Anyway, if this is recording, hey Weiss, if you are hearing this, my plan worked in a way. I don't really know the outcome. Hopefully, I'm alive, and the people of Vale are too. My plan was simple, use my semblance to make a strong but small army to protect Vale, have Cayde protect the fairgrounds till everyone evacuated, Quiet was on sniping duty at Beacon, I hijack the speech to get people to be preemptive and get a jump on protecting their home. The fall of Beacon was something I could never really forget it was just too big of a story impact. I thought of a lot of things, but I couldn't think about how to save Penny, but I could save Pyrrha, and hopefully, I survived my encounter with Cinder and I didn't make myself too big a target. If not, I had a contingency that would bring me back to life. Just remember that some games incorporate some actual functions on how players respawn. If I did die and the team got split, I hope I'll be back as soon as possible and meet you at Mistril. I hope you're doing well, I love you, Weiss. Now, how do I turn you off? You might hear me talk for a while if I can't figure this out.

Weiss didn't care at the moment she's just having tears of joy and is happy to hear her husband as well as know he may be alive and will be at Mistril at some point. But sadly she won't be able to leave anytime soon to wait for him there.

Weiss: I'll see you there, Y/n.

(Sadly, I can't think of anything for Blake's story. At least for now, I'll try to add something around her story, but I can't think of anything beforehand.)

1st person Y/n's Pov

Y/n: Alright, I knocked out all of them, and no gun fight, too.

I drag the two guys out of the shop as I see Prof. Goodwitch coming up on the shop.

Y/n: Prof. Goodwitch! I was looking for you.

Goodwitch: Who are you?

Y/n: Oh, right.

I take my helmet, revealing my face. Clearly shocking her.

Y/n: Mind helping me get to my girls?

Goodwitch: H-how are you alive?

Y/n: I've played my fair share of games that have a logical and useful respawn mechanic that also makes an immortal npc that I can't despawn. Now, about my question...

Goodwitch: Yes, I can get you to two of them.

Y/n: Yeah, considering I didn't exactly stop the fall of Beacon and well died, and the team got split up most likely.

I could tell she didn't want to deal with the factor of thugs and repairs at the moment from the look of exhaustion on her face. This sidetrack for her will give her time to rest up, I guess.

Goodwitch: They should be fine tied up. Let me call an officer, and I'll get you to Ms. Rose and Ms. Xiao long.

Timeskip

The bullhead ride was nice and relaxing surprisingly, and Ms. Goodwitch got a nap, which surprised me, but once we landed, we left the airpads, and she showed me the way to their home. I had my helmet on the entire way one because I had no idea whether or not my identity was given out and questioned how I'm alive and two to surprise them. Hopefully, they forgive me for what I did. Soon enough, we exit the forest and come into a clearing with what looks like a log cabin. Ms. Goodwitch approached the door and gave it a knock.

*knock* *knock*

We waited for a bit before the door opened up, revealing Ruby.

Ruby: Oh, Prof. Goodwitch, what brings you here?

Goodwitch: Just someone that needed help getting here, actually.

Ruby: Hmm.

She looks around her and looks straight at me.

Goodwitch: May we come in? Oh, do you think you can bring Ms. Xiao long down, too.

Ruby: Oh yeah, you can come in, but Yang hasn't really come down since a recent argument with Cayde.

We walk in and sit down on the couch as Ruby sits in a nearby chair.

Ruby: Dad should be back soon enough if you are here for him, too.

Y/n: (taking off helmet) Actually, I'm just here to see two of my girls.

Ruby: Y-Y/n?

Y/n: Hey Rosebud.

She immediately got up and tackled me, tears clearly welling up. I just sat there and gave her head pats as she practically cried into my shoulder.

Y/n: I'm so sorry I upset you and worried you it was never my intention to, but it was the last card I could play since the court of public opinion wouldn't stand if three people were arrested with no evidence.

Ruby: I don't care about that. I'm just happy you're here and alive.

Y/n: I'm happy to hear that. Let's go surprise Yang now. First, though, ghost, why don't you go and talk to Cayde.

Ghost appears and floats in front of us.

Ghost: Alright, Guardian.

He floats away, and Ruby and I get up, and she leads me to Yang's room. She knocked on the door before opening it. Yang was looking out the window in her bed, just glancing at the door before going back to looking out the window.

Yang: Oh hey, Ruby, what's Goodwitch doing here?

Ruby: She brought someone over.

Y/n: Yeah, she was bringing me to see at least two of my wives.

Yang swung her head so fast it looked like she snapped it. She simply stared at me, examining me to see if I was a fake. Then, she got up out of bed and got up in front of me. She slapped me as hard as she could and then proceeded to hug me with her one arm.

Yang: Don't do something so stupid again.

Y/n: I won't. I honestly don't have any more plans that dumb anyway. Now I'll let you rest up or whatever you were doing cause I need to still I'm on low aura from my "respawn".

Yang: Alright.

She let's go of me and got back in bed. Ruby and I left her room.

Ruby: You can sleep with me tonight, Y/n.

Y/n: Alright.

Timeskip

I open the front door, seeing Jaune, Ren, Nora, and Ruby leaving. I lean against the door frame as I call out to them before going over to them.

Y/n: You aren't leaving without me. Are you?

Jaune: Y/n?!

Y/n: Surprise.

Nora: But you-

Y/n: Died, yeah, it didn't take.

Jaune: H-how?

Y/n: My semblance. I made an important npc that can't die that also serves as a respawn function. No, not a clone, Nora.

Jaune: Your semblance is so strong.

Y/n: What can I say? I can be very OP. I just underestimated my opponent.
