A boy who looks about as old as I am strides up to us. He's wearing all red- a red hoodie, gloves, and pants. "Who are you?" He growls.

I turn back into a human to talk to this mysterious boy. "That's not important right now, I need to talk to Eclipse." I tell him, glancing at the Cresselia who's still deep in conversation.

"Yes, it is. Eclipse is busy right now."

"Well so am I! Lemme past!" I exclaim, shoving the older boy aside. "Eclipse!"

"Hey!" He grabs my shoulder and turns me around. "She can't talk right now!"

"Eclipse! Listen to me! Ren is--" I manage as Ren storms past everyone and stops at Eclipse and Darkrai.

"You... You're the one I don't like. No, despise. I seek revenge." Ren mutters.

Eclipse smiles at Ren like he hadn't just threatened to possibly kill her. "Long time, no see, Ren. Where have you been all these years?"

Darkrai nods. "You weren't at any of the meetings. You didn't even show up for the orientation for Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, and Diance. Will you even bother to come to Hoopa and Volcanion's orientation?" I know he's trying not to show his anger.

"Who? Oh, that doesn't matter. You two rejected me! I can't forgive you! Why?" He screeches.

"Oh, Ren. We both know that we didn't reject you!" Eclipse grins. "You're just frustrated!"

"No. You don't understand. No one does. I'm the only one who understands myself. You're just another one who doesn't care."

Darkrai just nods.

Ren jumps on top of Eclipse and somehow pins her to the ground. "You're worthless. We would have been fine if you just..."

Eclipse whistles. "I would applaud, but you've captured me. Good job!"

"N-no! Stop! Stop, you're supposed to be suffering! A-am I just not-- not doing something right? Do I still need to prove myself? Prove that I'm capable to be..."

"Listen to me carefully, okay?" The Cresselia whispers. "Until you stop using innocent Pokemon for your own needs, you can never join us. You need to learn to come out and confront us for who you really are."

Ren slowly nods. "So what you're saying... Is that you don't want some weakling, but you want me as me!" He jumps off of Eclipse.

Ren drops to the ground as a huge beast with blood red eyes rises into the air. It's hard to make out much detail besides how big it is, but I can tell that it has wings. "This is who you want!" His voice is raspy and loud.

Eclipse and Darkrai smile. "It's been a long time, hasn't it?"

I stand still, my eyes wide. This Pokemon is bigger and fiercer than anything I've ever seen.

He lunges at Darkrai, who just stands in the middle of the clearing, not even blinking when the huge Pokemon attacks.

Eclipse strides up to me with a grin on her face. "You see, this Pokemon who inhabited Ren has a different battle style. He can only fight if he feels in charge."

"So he can only battle when he thinks he's superior." Mirka joins in, nodding.

"Exactly." The Cresselia agrees. "Otherwise, he's basically powerless."

I silently walk over to Ren, who looks dead. "Is he okay?" I whisper, horror-stricken. I don't care too much about anything else that's going on around here except making sure that Ren stays alive.

"He should be, yes." A familiar voice replies to me. "I'm sorry, I haven't formally introduced myself, have I? Well, I'm Jay Coals, the companion of Chaos and Eclipse."

"Who's Chaos?" I ask. I don't care about this boy too much, unless he can help Ren. "Never mind, I don't care. What do you know about Ren?"

Jay Coals kneels down beside me. "I'm not usually supposed to leave battle, but Eclipse permitted me to this time. Please, follow me." He stands up and casually walks out of the clearing.

I pick up the limp body of Ren and jog after him. "Hang in there, Ren." I tell the Shaymin.

Wow, I feel terrible. I haven't updated this book in literally months.
