Many Weird Things Occur
"Awww, why do we have to go to school at school?" I complain. It's the first day of school and the girls in Dorm aren't very happy.
"Well, this is a boarding school, after all. School being the key word here." Mirka reminds me.
We all realize what Mirka just said and a loud groan explodes from our dorm.
"Well, at least we don't have to wear our uniforms yet." Juliette points out, trying to stay positive.
I nod. "Ya, not until next week, right?"
"That's what I heard." Mirka remarks. "Come on, we have to get dressed."
"Right."
We take about a half hour to choose our outfits, eat a healthy breakfast of root beer cereal, and run out the door.
"See ya at lunch, Mirka!" Juliette calls.
Mirka just waves back.
My schedule is a bit mixed up still, but right now it looks like this:
8:00: Homeroom
8:30: Math
9:30: Art
10:15: Grammar
11:15: History
12:00: LUNCH
12:45: Science
1:45: Gym
2:30: Some class solely for fire types. That's all we know.
3:30: Homeroom/Study Hall
4:00: Leave and go to our Dorms
Most of those classes are also Juliette's classes, except Science and History are swapped for her. Since Mirka is a grade ahead of us, her schedule is completely different from ours, except we both have the same Lunch period in the same place and since she's mainly a Fire type, she has the same class as us at 2:30.
"Come on Jueliette, I don't wanna be late to Homeroom! I hear that Ms. Eleni is really nice, but strict! COME ON!" I pull on Jueliette's arm.
"Alright!" She giggles. "I hope Ms. Eleni isn't too strict."
We manage to find our classroom literally a minute before the bell rings.
Ms. Eleni seems nice enough. For one thing, her room is outside. Literally. In the courtyard. THe sun is shining down on us and instead of chairs, we have benches. Instead of desks, we have tree stumps. And instead of a chalkboard, I'm guessing she has us act everything out. She has a bunch of apples and oranges... Oh no. I find that to just be really... strange.
"Whoa." I say. "Is this really your classroom?" I ask the Ninetails teacher.
Ms. Eleni grins and says, "Yup! I had to beg the principal to let me use the courtyard as my classroom until he finally said yes. Don't you love it?"
I nod.
"Alright, class! Take your seats, please! The morning announcements are about to start!" Ms. Eleni yells, standing up on her little stone bench.
Soon, the morning announcements do come on and they actually have good quality so you can actually know what they're saying! "Hello everybody and welcome to Nova Academy! This is one of the principals, and the best, really! Yup, you guessed it, I'm Clocks the Dialga! So, if you have any questions about anything, ask your homeroom teacher and they'll have an answer! That's it for today! Students, have a great first day!"
"Um, do we really have Dialga as a principal?" I ask.
Ms. Eleni just grins and replies, "You just made a big mistake by asking that. Well, I might as well tell you guys. So, you have alternating principals. It starts with Dialga, better known as Clocks for the first two weeks, then it gets passed on to Palkia, or Astral. Clocks fills his brother in on everything that's been going on, and once Astral's two weeks are up, he passes the shift on to his sister, Giritina, but she forces everyone to call her Phantom Spirit. She learns what's been going on around school, she passes on the job to Cresselia, or Luna, and then so on and so on. It's actually sorta simple."
We all just stare at her.
"Well anyway, let's move on! Get your stuff for your morning classes!'
~*~ Meanwhile ~*~
Mirka slams her locker shut. She thinks about what's happened since she came here. Well, she met some new people who seem nice. Should I have gained more knowledge before befriending them? She wonders. Looking around, Mirka spots a girl around her age, maybe a bit younger, who's looking straight at her.
Her golden eyes sparkle intently, but her short hair that's the same color as her eyes don't have that sparkle that the eyes do. Besides that, she's really taking advantage of no uniform. She's wearing a light yellow shirt complimented by a black collar, a gold bracelet on each wrist, a black skirt with black tights, and gold Converse sneakers. Her tail bobs up and down, with her star on the tip flicking at every moment. Large Shinx ears pop out of her hair.
She walks right past Mirka like she hadn't been staring at her just moments earlier.
Well that was weird, Mirka thinks to herself as she heads to History class.
Well, that was that. Shoutout to ShinyShinx for her character. Sorry she doesn't make a very big apperence, but it's all I could do. So, I'm really getting into this story. I'll have the next two chapters up by the end of the week-- I hope. Yup. Oh well. We'll see. Oh, and there was a time skip between this chapter and the last chapter by about a week. SOMEONE PLEASE MOTIVATE ME TO WRITE MORE! I'm trying my hardest, but I really want to get this book up and going.
