Kai's POV

Cole, Jay, Zane and I ran out of the school with our Gi's on and our weapons in hands. We ran as fast we can and fortunately nobody saw us.

Since we didn't really have vehicles for battle, we had no other choice but to run to the center of the city, where the attack was.

We ran on full speed for about five minutes maybe, since the school wasn't that far. When we arrived, we saw the chaos and heard the screams of civilians. We had to go and save them, but we couldn't help ourselves.

''We.....gotta......go......and......fight....'' Jay said between taking deep breaths. Cole, he and I were breathing heavily, I was leaning on my sword while clutching my side, Cole was leaning on his scythe and Jay was leaning on his knees.

I looked up at Zane. ''How in the name in the First Spinjitzu Master are you not tired?'' I asked, regaining my breath bit by bit.

''I cannot answer this question, but I should inform you that the longest we stay here, the more civilians get hurt,'' Zane said. I rolled my eyes at Mr. Smarty Pants.

''Okay,'' Cole said, standing straight. ''Let's do it.'' he said and looked at the four of us, putting his hand in the middle. Zane was the next one to put his hand, then Jay and then me.

''NINJA GO!'' the four of us yelled and ran in different directions.

I ran to a group of green clothed people and yelled. ''Hey!''I said and all of them turned around, shocking me.

These things were not people. These things were Serpents.

I got over my shock once they charged at me. I hit some of them my sword, kicked some, punched some.

''KAI BEHIND YOU!'' I heard Jay yell from somewhere. I turned around and then something sprayed in my eyes. It startled me, I stumbled backwards and tripped on something, falling down.

I rubbed my eyes and my vision was a bit blurry and when it cleared out, I screamed.

Jay's POV

I kicked another red serpent and looked at Kai to see him fighting off green ones. All of the sudden, another one came behind him.

''KAI BEHIND YOU!''I yelled. He turned around and the serpent sprayed something in his eyes. He stumbled and fell on the ground, rubbing his eyes. He opened them and blinked a few times, then his eyes went wide. I have to help him.

I kicked down another serpent and ran towards Kai, as more green snakes were starting to surround him. I had to do it now, or else Kai is death man.

''NINJA GO!'' I yelled and all of the sudden, my whole world started spinning. I was surrounded in a blue tornado, fighting off the snakes around Kai.

When I kicked the last one away, I stopped and looked around. I didn't feel dizzy or anything.

''I did it!'' I yelled, throwing my arms up in triumph. When I did thought, I felt someone bumping into my elbow. I looked behind me to see another snake, knocked out. I lowered my hands. ''Oops. Guess I forgot one, hehe,'' I said and looked around, then looked at Kai still sitting on the ground with a scared expression.

I walked to him and kneeled down. ''Kai? You fine mate?'' I asked.

''The Gingerbread men! And the Elves! They're coming!'' Kai yelled.

''Gingerbread? Elves? What are you talking about?'' I asked him, confused. Kai just pointed behind me. I looked over my shoulder and saw more red and green serpents coming our way. I looked back at Kai. ''Just stay here.'' I told him. I turned around and did Spinjitzu again, knocking more snakes. Once I knocked the group down, I noticed Zane and Cole struggling, so went to help them. I stopped spinning not far from Cole.

''I can't believe you were the one to master Spinjitzu! I thought it's gonna be me!'' Cole yelled as he fought off more snakes. I fought more as well. We were back to back and snakes were surrounding us.

''You know, it'll be nice if you mastered Spinjitzu as well!" I yelled to him.

''I've been trying! It doesn't work!'' he said from behind me. ''How did you do it?'' he asked.

''I don't know! I just told myself that I had to do it!" I answered.

''Okay then!'' Cole yelled and all of the sudden, he was replaced by a brown tornado.

''That's it!'' I yelled and spun as well. Together, we knocked even more snakes.

We kept going, until we heard a loud snake sound and everybody stopped, so we did as well. All of the sudden, all snakes started walking away and towards the tunnels, retrieving.

''That's it?'' I asked, looking at Cole and Zane, who had joined us.

''I don't think so. Maybe it is for now,'' Cole said.

''The Gingerbread men are gone!'' Kai said all of the sudden. We turned towards him to see him stumbling towards us. I noticed that his eyes turned green.

''What is wrong, brother?'' Zane asked, supporting Kai on his feet.

''He got sprayed with something and now is saying that Gingerbread men and Elves were attacking us, but that were the snakes,'' I explained to him.

''Hmmm...I do not recognize these symptoms. Maybe we should talk with Wu?'' Zane suggested.

''That's a good idea,'' Cole said.

''Hey! Who are you four?'' somebody asked from behind us.

I looked at the guy, to see more people around him, expecting our answer and holding their phones up to film us. ''Umm...,'' for once in my life I was at loss of words. ''We're the...Ninja?'' I said.

''Ninja?'' another woman asked. ''Don't Ninja wear black only?'' she asked.

''Well, we're unique! Now if you'd excuse us, we got to go!'' Cole said and wrapped Kai's second arm around his neck, then Zane, Kai and he took off running towards the school.

I looked down and saw Kai's sword and picked it up, then looked at the people who were still staring at me. ''See ya!'' I said and took off after my friends.

So I finished it. The fight only. I know it's kinda boring, but I tried to add humor! Don't know if it worked tho...
