CHAPTER TWO-----▹

TWO MONTHS LATER

"Are you bothering Happy again?" Tess questioned, as Peter typed away on his phone, "I don't know what you're talking about." Peter stated not even looking up, "Mhm." Tess hummed stealing his phone. She raised an eyebrow at him as she scrolled through the many, many messages.

The pair walked side by side towards the school, and Peter stepped out in front of Flash's car centimeters away from being hit by it, "What's up penis parker?" he asked, and Tess moved to literally attack, when Peter grabbed her shoulders, "I'm going to punch him one of these days. I swear to God." she muttered, "Let it go, Tess," Peter calmly directed her shoulders towards the school's entryway. "He just makes my blood boil," she said her hands flailing around, "Yes, Tess, I get it I know." he spotted Gwen across the hall, "Gwen, talk your best friend down before she explodes," he said, pushing her off to the blonde lightly.

"Is this about Flash again?" Gwen asked, "Unfourtantly." she muttered, "Just tell him to stop, he'll listen." the blonde smiled leaning against her locker, as Tess turned the knob to unlock her locker. "Nope, he won't. He's still bitter that I turned him down." Tess stated and Gwen laughed, a bright smile lighting up her face. "So blondie, what's on the agenda for today?" Tess asked teasingly. "A little chaos per-usual."

---

"Okay, so how do we calculate the linear acceleration between points A and B?" Tess sighed, twirling her pencil around, bored, "Flash." he lowered his hand, "It's the product of sine of the angle and gravity divided by the mass," he answered, "Nope." the teacher responded and Tess rolled her eyes, now raising her hand, "Peter." he jumped his head snapping up, "You still with us?"

Tess raised an eyebrow at him from across the room, the pair no longer got to sit next to each other, as they were so competitive for getting the most amount of correct answers, that the teacher was convinced the rest of the class would never learn anything. "Uh, uh, uh, yeah, yeah, yeah." he lowered his computer, to get a better view of the board, he looked at it for a moment, "Mass cancels out. So it's just gravity times sine." he answered, and Tess sent him a thumbs up, "Right. See Flash, being the fastest isn't always the best if you're wrong."

After Class, Gwen and Tess walked side by side through the hallways to the lunchroom, they were fairly well known throughout the school, maybe not quite as popular as Liz and her 'Crew' but, known enough.

"Did Liz get a new top?" Peter asked, looking at her in awe, Gwen rolled her eyes as she and Tess sat down, "No." Ned answered, "We've seen that before, but never with that skirt." he noted, "We should probably stop staring before it gets creepy." Peter spoke, eyes still unmoving. "Too late," MJ said, from a couple of seats away.

"You guys are losers." MJ noted, and Tess raised an eyebrow at Peter, "I second that." she teased. "Well, then why do you sit with us?" Ned asked, "Because I have no friends." she answered, and Tess's jaw dropped in offense, "Wow, nice to know I matter, Jones." she spoke teasingly, "You..you what, Besides you." she stuttered, slightly flustered by the girl, "Damn straight, there's no getting rid of me, Michelle."

And Peter looked at Tess in shock, "How did you not die?" he asked exasperated, and Tess shrugged, "I'm just the superior Parker I guess." meanwhile MJ had gone back to whatever book she had been previously reading, a light blush dusting her cheeks.

Gwen smiled knowingly at Tess who had a small smile of adoration on her face while looking in MJ's direction, "Tess? Earth to Teresa." Gwen spoke trying to get the girl's attention, she tossed an apple towards Tess's face which she caught seconds before it hit her face. Gwen pulled a questioning face in her best friend's direction almost analyzing to try and figure out how the girl who once hit herself in the face with a basketball, caught the apple.

----

"Wait for me! Peter!" she called out chasing the boy down, "Sorry, no time." he joked, she whacked his shoulder, "Don't be mean," she scolded playfully, as Peter whipped the door open to the sub shop, "What's up, Mr. Delmar?" he asked, as Tess said, "Hello, Mr. Delmar."

He looked between them, "Hello...Parkers" he leaned against the counter, as Peter set down, two bags of gummy worms on said counter, "Two number fives?" he asked, "Yeah, and um with pickles, and can you smush it down real flat, thanks." Peter spoke, "How's your aunt?" Mr. Delmar asked, "Yeah she's alright." Peter said and Mr. Delmar turned around, "Ella es una mujer Italiana muy caliente."(she's a hot Italian woman) he spoke in Spanish, Tess's face scrunched up in disgust, "Schifoso, davvero schifoso"(Gross, just gross) she muttered in Italian, "cómo está tu hija?"(How's your daughter?) Peter asked, Spanish class, coming into use for once, and Tess's eyes widened, "Damn, Peter." the brunette muttered, with a small smirk

Mr. Delmar looked offended, "Fifteen dollars." he held out his hand, "It's seven!" the Parker's spoke simultaneously, Peter motioning towards the sign, "For that comment, fifteen." he shook his head, "Don't call my Mom hot then." Tess shrugged, "Hey, come on. I'm joking. I'm joking." Peter defended, "Here's seven dollars."

Tess gave the cat a quick pet, before leaning back against the counter once more, "So, how's school?" he asked, and Tess grabbed one of the packets of gummy worms, "It's you know, school." Tess said, "Ah, yeah. It's boring. Got better things to do." Peter noted, "Stay in school, Kids. Stay in school. Otherwise, you're gonna end up like me," he motioned around the shop, "Eh, not so bad." Tess spoke, "This is great." Peter added, "Best sandwiches in Queens." Mr. Delmar said.

----

"Meet you up there?" Tess asked, before they both slipped away to switch into their suits, Tess made quick work of her hair braiding it efficiently just like how Natasha had taught her, that way her hair, fit better under the suit. Soon enough she was swinging up, to the rooftops, finding her spot right next to Peter, "You ready?" she asked a smile in her voice, "I always am." Peter responded, "After you, spiderman," she spoke dramatically, "I still don't get why you get the cooler name, I mean Ghost Spider...sounds so much cooler then Spiderman." he whinned. "That's because I am cooler." she said before swinging off.

"Exscuse me," Tess spoke, webbing the wheel of the bike, and then Peter hopped down in front of the guy, "Will you hold this for a second? Thanks." the webb pulled the man away. "Hey, it this anybody's bike?" Peter shouted, "We have one stolen bike, does this belong to anyone." Tess added, "Does anyone have a pen?" Peter asked, "I'll find a pen," Tess spoke.

The two Parkers swung through the city helping people out, it's just what they did, and Tess loved every second of it. There seemed to be someone stealing a car, or at least that's what they thought, Peter webbed the guy slamming his forehead against the car, "You shouldn't steal cars it's bad." Peter said hopping down from the roof of the car, "It's my car dumbass," Tess and Peter met eyes, "Opps?" Tess shrugged.

A woman peaked her head out the window, "Hey, Shut that off." she demanded, "Can you just tell them it's my car." soon another person joined the conversation, "Yo! I work nights! Come on!"

"Nice going, spiderman." Tess said, "That's not your car, that's his car." another man in aproan scolded, "How...how was I supposed to know, he put that thing in the window." Peter tried to explain, "Everyday with those damn alarms."

"Don't make me come down there punk." some guy with sunglasses said from another window, "Hey, Gary. How you doing?" Tess's eyes traveled from person to person, the chaos slightly overwhelming,  "Marjorie. How are you? How's your mother?"

---

Tess and Peter swung back through their original route as the sun began to sink. Peter fell face first sliding against the concrete, "You good?" Tess yelled, "Yep, yeah, I'm fine." and then she laughed, "You literally fell on your face, you sure you're ok?" she teased, "Shut up." he muttered. "C'mon get up, I'm hungry." she whinned, "Yeah, yeah." he waved her off.

Peter left another voicemail for happy as they ate their food, "This view." she motioned twirling on the small platform, "Is honestly everything. I love sunset." she spoke, just after Peter almost dropped something, "So clumsy," she spoke, and he ignored her,

"Finally something good."
