Felix’s P.O.V

Pan is laughing along with Riley as they tackle each other . My smile drops “what if I was never meant to come here” I whispered to myself. I shake my head and look up to the blue sky of Neverland.

“What if all of this is just like a dream?” my smile drops as I glance at my reflection in the water. “What if he secretly hates me or-” “Hey Felix are you ok?” Pan asks nearing me “yeah, just fine” I whispered. “Peter?” I ask weakness in my voice. “Yes Felix?”

“Why can't I hear your pan flute anymore?” I ask my voice weakening. “You see Felix my pan flute is played and heard by all those who feel lost and unloved” he says looking into my steel colored eyes. “Then why can't I hear it, no one on this island loves me , what if all of this is made up, or-”

“Felix there is one person who truly loves you on this island and they see great potential in you too” Pan says “who” I almost shout “ it's not myself and it's not anyone I know” I say gritting my teeth. “well, he is standing in front of you” Pan says trying to lighten the mood . “you?” I break out into a fit of laughter. “Of all people to like me, you end up there. Why?”

“You have loyalty and you are my best friend Felix-” I cut him short “exactly best friend, best friends don't love each other, they don't share cuddles and kisses” I shout. “Felix why are you acting this way?” Pan asked “ I don't know Pan why don't you go ask your lost girl?” Pan gasps “Y-you like me don't you?” I avoid his gaze “Felix I didn't-”

“You didn't know, after centuries of small talks and confessing our feelings you rip my heart out and crush it” I start to walk away when Pan appears in front of me on his knees “Felix, I love you don't go” he pleaded “Peter Pan the arrogant, narcissistic, lost boy loves ME” I laugh . “Please Felix I've changed” he reasons “in what way?” I ask him . Pan sighs before beginning “remember when I first brought you here?” I shake my head walking further away. “You were scared, you wanted to run from me, the look on your face it hurt my heart you looked so lonely, so lost. I guided you to my thinking tree and you were still upset”

“ You looked so broken my heart broke and I didn't know what to do so I told you to believe everything would be ok and you looked up at me and said “I can't” my heart shattered into little pieces never had I heard those words from such a small broken looking boy”

“Cut the nonsense Pan, you ripped my heart out, you wanted more power you held it in your hand and looked at me for a minute almost a hint of remorse on your face as you crushed my heart in your hand, and what'd you do,  you left me to die” I growl pushing him away. He grabs me by my cloak “I gave up my own son for power and I was dumb to but Felix I said I'm sorry, you have a heart now”

“How” I spit venomously Pan dips his hand in his chest holding out half of an almost black heart. “I'm dying Felix” he says “why would I care?” I ask turning toward him “ everything and everyone on this island will die”
