Serena and Sonic started fighting

Sonic: Look I'm sorry about your parents I really am! But what they wanna do is going too far!

Serena: They aren't going to do anything violent!But you don't believe me!!

She kicked him against a the wall as the other prisoners cheered

Bean: Hahaha! That was awesome!

Sonic: Oh shut up!

He bounced off the wall and tackled her

Sonic: Then just talk to me instead of attacking me!

Serena: HOW CAN I?!

She punched him in the chest

Serena: I wanted to see my parents again for so long! But then you put my dad- YOUR UNCLE! In prison! Without even telling me!!!

Sonic slowly got up and glared at her

Sonic: Because you would've been biased

Serena: WHAT?!?

She swung her blade and Sonic just barely got out of the way but was still cut Sonic on the cheek

Sonic: Ah!

Serena's robot arm went back to normal

Serena: That was a warning!

Sonic:  He was gonna start a rebellion! Thats a bad thing! Whether he's your dad or not!

Serena: You wouldn't... Even... Hear him... OUT!

She pinned him against the wall

Serena: You say you want to talk but you won't ever listen and I'm tired of it!

Sonic pushed her onto the floor but she got back up

Sonic: Of what?!

Serena: I just said it! You don't listen!

Sonic: if anything you're the one not listening anymore!

Serena grabbed his arm with her robot hand

Serena: Don't. You. Dare. I'm doing my part so my parents can finish what they're trying to do.

Meanwhile Elias was talking to Nicole in his room

Elias: No matter what happens make sure my wife and child are safe. And above all else do not wake up my father

Nicole: A-Alright, your highness.

At that moment David opened the door with Martha right behind him

David: You're guards aren't here and the locks haven't changed. I can tell you clearly want us here.

Nicole disappeared with David and Martha noticing

Elias: Nicole informed me of your escape and I knew you would come straight here. You said your peace back in the detention center. Now I will say mine. Firstly. Where is Serena?

David: Saying exactly how she feels to her cousin.

There are dozens of hero's in this city who spent their lives fighting to protect this Acorn title. I can not and will not belittle all that they have given for my family and kingdom.

David got angry but Martha held his hand

Martha: What about our family? Serena being half roboticized, losing us for decades and now being betrayed by Sonic? A king thinks about all families not just his!

Elias: I can not just dissolve this kingdom in a handed to the masses! That makes no sense!

Martha: That's not what I said!

David: You would risk civil war to preserve a faulty monarchy?!

Elias: I would preserve order over submitting to your anarchy!

Martha gave David a sword she found

Elias: I will not fight you. You may have mentally aged but physically you are barely an adult.

David: So. Are. You.

Elias: ...Fine.

He held his sword and the two of them were ready to fight

Back in the prison Sonic finally fought back

Sonic: If you won't pull any punches then neither will I!

Sonic spin dashed right passed Serena

Serena: Get back here!

Serena flew outside and saw Sonic running towards the castle

Serena: See?! You always run from your problems and expect me to clean up your messes!

Sonic: It's not like I wanted you to fight Eggman alone!

Serena: You barely checked to see if I was OK!

She punched Sonic in the face but he grabbed onto a thick tree branch

Sonic: You always bounce back no matter how bad the damage! I didn't think you needed me!

Serena: There's a difference between needed and wanted!!

Sonic landed on the ground

Sonic: Alright! I'm sorry I wasn't there that one time!

Serena: One time?! Did you just forget why we're here in the first place?!

Sonic: Oh...

He ran off again but Serena was right behind him

Serena: You were going to let my dad rot in a prison cell!!

Sonic: He wasn't in jail for more than a day! You didn't give me a chance to do anything!!

Serena: The great Sonic The Hedgehog was to slow?!

Her robot arm became a sword again but he dodged it

Sonic: Please just talk to me! We can figure this out!

Serena: Even if you listen how do I know you'll follow through?!

Sonic: Because we're family! And I'm sorry that I arrested your parents! It was the heat of the moment! I couldn't think!

Serena tackled him while crying

Serena: You never do!!

She was about to hit Sonic again but stopped an inch away from his face

Serena: W-Why? Why are you like this? Why didn't you just say something?!

Serena sat on the ground and Sonic sat next to her

Sonic: I just... I didn't know what to do. And I still don't. You know I'm bad with this stuff

Serena: Then... Why didn't you ask me? You barely talked to me during all this

Sonic: Cause I didn't know how well you'd take it... You didn't take it well. We're fighting. But I should have said something. I'm sorry. I'll be a better cousin I promise.

Serena grabbed his arm but instead of hurting him she pulled him into a hug

Serena: Don't you dare break that promise.

Her hug a little too tight he couldn't breathe

Sonic: ...N-Noted! Y-You can let go now!

Serena let go and Sonic took a deep breath in

Sonic: So we're cool?

Serena wiped her tears

Serena: I think so.

Then Sonic stood up and so did she

Sonic: Now can we at least check on your parents to make sure no one gets hurt?

Serena: Yeah. We need to at least know what's happening!

Soon Sonic and Serena burst into Elias's room

Serena: Mom! Dad! Please don't-!

David and Martha were having tea with Elias

Sonic: What did we miss?

Sally: It's okay you two. We've come to an agreement.

David: There will be an elective council of six citizens

Elias: While the king presides as a seventh member. I lose some power to the people...

Martha: But we don't lost the monarchy of our heritage.

David and Elias shook hands
