Tails helped Serena stand up since she didn't have her robot limbs

Serena: ...Tails?

Tails: I'm so sorry! We dug out of the ground as fast as we could so we could help you!

He looked around and saw everything burning down

Tails: It's all gone... Eggman won...

Serena: Not for long. The others are alive so we still have a chance. And I'm going to kill him.

Tails looked at her shocked and noticed her eyes were still red not green

Tails: What?

Serena was about to say something but then Amy and Knuckles ran up to her

Amy: SERENA! What happened to you?! What happened to our homes?!

Serena: It's all gone, Amy... That madman burned it to the ground.

Amy: What about everyone else?!

Serena: Captured and taken to the egg grapes

Knuckles: Egg grapes?

The four of them walked back to what was left of their base

Serena: They're prison pods that drain life forces and use them for fuel.

She made it to her lab and was able to replace her robot limbs with spare ones

Knuckles: What are we going to do?

Serena: There's no 'we'. I'm going by myself.

Tails, Amy and Knuckles: What?!

Tails: You can't go after them all alone! Give me a minute to build something or-!

Serena: I won't risk you keeping captured too!

She made sure her robot limbs were screwed on extra tightly

Amy: But then you'll have to fight Eggman's entire army! Including super his battle suit!

Serena: Enough!

She glared at the three of them

Serena: I'm going alone! End of discussion!

At that moment Nicole's handheld computer turned on

Nicole: If I may interpret... I recommend we postpone this infighting until after the rescue mission. If anyone is interested

Serena picked up the handheld

Serena: I'm listening.

Meanwhile Eggman looked at all his prisoners trapped in their pods

Eggman: Ladies, gentlemen and Mobians of all ages! I want to thank you all for providing me with such an entertaining resistance movement for so very long! It's made my running my global empire so much more exciting and enjoyable!

He laughed like a maniac

Eggman: You freedom fighters have been the most amusing but also the most annoying. It worked out for us though. You were all ready to give your lives for your cause.

He walked up to David and Martha who were also trapped in pods

Eggman: As you for two! You both haven't aged since the last time we saw each other!

David: Timed stopped in the dimension you trapped us in. Remember?

Eggman: Haha! Yes. I wanted you to live with the guilt for eternity!

Martha: What did you do to our daughter?!

Eggman: Left her for dead. But she might as well be!

Martha gasped and tried not to cry

Martha: No...

Sonic kept trying to spin dash out of his pod but just got dizzy

Eggman: Don't bother, Rodent! After all these years of fighting, you really think I don't know what your spin dash is powerless against?!

Sonic: Your still missing a few prisoners Egghead!

Eggman: Four against an army? I'll take those odds! Now then... I'm going to demonstrate my new roboticizer!

Everyone started panicking as Eggman looked around the room

Eggman: Eeny, Meeny Miny...

Then he glared at Sonic

Eggman: ...Moe!

He was about to press a big red button when suddenly Serena, Amy, Knuckles and Tails burst through the wall

Serena: You're dead Eggman!!!

Eggman: You again-!

Serena punched Eggmwn across the face with her new robot arm causing him fall on the floor

Serena: I'll deal with you later. Everyone stick to the plan! Amy! Knuckles! Burst everyone out! I got Sonic!

Amy and Knuckles destroyed all the pods while Tails plugged in Nicole into Eggman's computer

All: YEAH!!

Eggman slowly got up

Eggman: No! You're supposed to be beaten! Your spirit is supposed to be broken!

Serena kicked him onto the ground

Serena: Shut. Up.

Next she punched Sonic's pod destroying it

Sonic: Alright, Cuz!! Cuz?

Serena's robot arm became a knife

Serena: Any last words, Sicko?

Eggman: You wouldn't.

She held the knife close to Eggman

Serena: Try me.

Sonic stood in front of Eggman

Sonic: Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! We'll do this AFTER we get to safety!

Serena looked annoyed but made her robot arm go back to normal.

Sonic: Alright everyone! Out the way they came!

Everyone ran out through the hole in the wall giving Eggman the chance to escape

Sally: There are too many of us. Maybe if we-

Tails landed next to her holding Nicole

Tails: No! Nicole has a plan!

Sally: Nicole came up with this plan?

Serena: Part of it yes!

Suddenly Eggman ambushed them in the same indestructible giant robot suit

Sally: Is this part of the plan too?!

Serena: Believe it or not.

Sonic: Is Serena The Hedgehog winging it?

Serena: Maybe.

Eggman: Enough!! I told all of you that this game is over! Now get back in the pod grapes!

He started zapping everyone again

Sally: NO! We'll be captured in no time!

Tails: Wait for it!

At that moment Tails was zapped

Sonic: TAILS!

Serena: Sonic, don't panic!

Soon only Sonic and Serena were left and were backed into a corner

Eggman: How does it feel to have everything and everyone taken from you?

Serena: I wouldn't know. I Never felt it.

Sonic: Uh... Cuz?

Eggman: HA! Classic denial!

He zapped both of them and they disappeared.

Eggman: HAHAHA! YES!!!

Then he heard Snively on the speaker

Snively: Uh... Sir?

Eggman: What?! You're interrupting my victory!

Snively: But you haven't won! No one is in their pods!

Eggman: WHAT?! Where did they go?!

Meanwhile everyone was teleported back to Mobotropolis and Knothole was back

Bunnie: All of our homes!

Antoine: Zey have been rebuilted!

Amy helped Rotor stand up

Rotor: Heh... Just 'rebuilt', Antoine.

Maximillian: By the glory of the source...

David and Martha saw Serena and immediately hugged her

David: You're alright!

Martha: I'm so relieved!

Serena was a little surprised but hugged back

Serena: Me too...

Then Nicole appeared in her lynx form

Nicole: This is something I've been preparing for quite a while now. Unfortunately Doctor Robotnik's efforts have forced me to reveal this before I was finished. But all the same... Welcome to New Mobotropolis! I'll be your hostess Nicole.

Sally immediately hugged Nicole

Sally: Nicole! I didn't think you could maintain this form! I could not until Serena found something robust enough to maintain me.

Serena: I wasn't given the chance to test it yet but so far it's working!

Sally: I'm glad it is!

Nicole: I also built enough holographic matrixes to give me full use of the city.

Sonic: Good to have you with us. Uh physically! You know cause-

Serena: We get it.

She stood next to Nicole

Serena: But we can't celebrate yet. Eggman is still out there. I don't think he'll wait long...

They all saw airships flying towards the city

Serena: To finish what he started.
