Day 40: The Red Mist Emerges(pt.2)

(I tried to slip phase 2 & 3 together in one chapter but I realized that it would take a goddamn eternity so the Red Mist fight will be in 4 parts)

Finally breaking through the first phase of this long and hardous ordeal, Y/N's gaze was fixated on the lone enemy in the room, clearly frustrated about her current defeat. Her body slumping over slightly, the sound of machines at work echoed loudly within the department, the Sephirah coming back to life with her strength renewed. With no hesitation, her previous weapons vanished from her hands and instead took the shape of the E.G.O weapon that the man was holding.

Nothing There: Goodbye.

Sensing an opportunity, the Aleph abnormality turned one of its hands into a large scythe before performing a diagonal slash, leaving a powerful hit on the rogue AI. However, that was far from enough for her to stop, creating yet another portal before disappearing into it. Gone from the room, Red swiftly turned her gaze and changed her posture, already aware of where she was going, call it a hunter's instinct.

Red: You're not getting away that easily.

Running past the group, the door closed behind her, leaving Hava, the Queen of Hatred, Nothing There and the captain of the Central Command team in the previous department where the goal of their day was. With no target to focus on, the rampaging monster turned its gaze to the employees, already going for a quick attack. Taken aback, the man blocked the blow with his borrowed gloves and gritted his teeth, barely able to brush off the assault.

Hava: *Whistle* Over here!

Signaling the man where to escape to, she approached the situation and effortlessly swung her black scythe meticulously, her hair moving along with her abrupt movements. Attacked by something out of its sight, the entity turned around and retaliated with another hit, hit that she dodged. Now free from its pursuer temporarely, the captain turned its attention to the door Red ran out of and decided to follow her footsteps, followed by a surprised magical girl.

Then, a sharp pain came from his back, his nerves burning him alive almost. Under the shock of agony, he could barely mutter the incoherent mumbles that his brain would have liked to say to compensate for the horrible experience. Dropping down to his knees, he looked back and saw Nothing There with one of its arms extended, the culprit behind the mysterious attack.

QoH: ...A new vilain has emerged, one that could have been our ally.

Tightly holding onto her staff with a deadly glare, her eyes pierced the abnormality that was much stronger than her, not caring anymore about the main boss they were confronting. With solidified will, she began releasing a barrage of stars at the abomination which harmed her assistant. Simply shrugging off the damages done to it, Nothing There resumed its battle against Hava before a loud scream echoed in the whole facility.

The monk escaped its containment zone.

QoH: Y/N, stay still!

Hurrying to his side, she leaned closer and inspected the wound and to her surprise, his skin was completely fine, only leaving a red mark where he was hit by the ranged attack. His suit appropriate against this type of attack, he came out of the encounter with only his nerves screaming in pain. Nonetheless, she arbored a focused expression and began chanting words under her breath while the employee moved to a sitting position, taking out his radio.

Y/N: The Red Mist has escaped the department, is anyone there?!

Loudly exclaiming into the device, he could feel his bruise growing weaker thanks to the magical girl's aid. Soon after asking that question, the familiar voice of the girl who stood by his side came out.

Alter Ego: Gebura is currently in the Extraction department, the clerks are trying to hold her off with the agents present.

Y/N: Understood, I'll hurry too, thanks.

Alter Ego: W-Wait, I'm going too, I want to help!

Y/N: ...

Weighing to advantages and consequences of having her enter the battle, he relunctantly nodded to himself and dropped a simple "be careful" to her, to which she responded with a small laugh to comfort him. Completely out of his previous torment, he stood up and faced Nothing There currently challenging Hava, blood slipping out from her lips and her outfit taken quite a beating. However, she remained strong, the perfect image of a soldier during its duties, calm like she was used to this type of situation.

Y/N: We're going to the Extraction department, take the dog with you!

Hava: You're asking a lot out of me.

Still, she held a smirk on her face, clearly enjoying her little game with the powerful monster standing before her eyes. Her red eyes shining, the blood going down her mouth finally dropped onto the floor before she sprung into action, leading the mimicking thing outside. On their side, the magical girl along with the captain turned around and dashed to reach the department in question while taking an alternative path.

Once outside, the girl firmly stopped the man who tried to sprint his way to his destination. Confused, he turned his gaze back to her but was left unable to say anything, a sudden flash covering his vision yet again. Using one of her many handy spells, the magical being casted a quick incantation, teleporting them out of the current department. The whole process took merely a second and the result was instantly noticable, now both standing at the entrance of the department they were aiming for.

Inside, a fierce duel was happening. All around, the bodies of many who weren't so lucky tainted the floor with the crimson liquid that the man became desensitized to after so many horrors contained inside this facility. Some were impaled, some missing limbs that were dropped next to them and others had ended their own misery with a singular bullet. Standing amidst the field covered with many lost souls, the culprit behind the casualties was facing off against a singular employee.

No agent, a clerk. With a frown, he gritted his teeth and held his pistol by the top of it instead of the handle, definitely out of ammo by this point. Facing off against the being that rules over them all in terms of prowess and power, the one that wasn't even an agent assigned with a proper suit and weapon to deal with this calmly stood his grounds. Annoyed by that sight, the woman in red swung down one of her newly created weapons, Mimicry.

Y/N: Crap!

Bracing himself, he attempted to slip in but was forced to acknowledge the distance between him and the clerk, a distance too grand for him to traverse. The lone man, however, did not back down from the incoming attack and even charged his empty gun at the blade, like wielding a spear. Clashing with the sword, sparkles flew around like no tomorrow around the both of them. Both standing still to observe the result, the clerk lightly grinned at the sight of the E.G.O getting deviated from its original direction with the help of the grip, since he was wielding it from the top. The result: he was successfully capable of blocking the attack by keeping it stuck in the intersection between the barrel and the grip of the ranged weaponry.

Clerk: I knew that aimless rage makes you do reckless thing but I didn't know that it also makes you a moron as well.

Pulling back her blade, Gebura replied to that snarky comment with a rapid swing of her secondary weapon, Da Capo, the same black scythe that Hava was carrying by her side. Finally arriving, Y/N launched a blow at the weapon and deviated it from its path before rushing ahead, letting the clerk all the time in the world to retreat now. Catching her attention, the captain heaved a breath while distant words echoed, words coming from the Queen of Hatred. During the confrontation, his mind wandered to a thought that came out after remembering how that single clerk was standing.

Where was Little Red?

Gebura: I will make you give up, like you always did.

Y/N: The past remains the past, This present me will keep going until his body fades away into the light of success.

Gebura: ...Fade away.

Clutching her E.G.Os, her glare grew stronger after repeating his words, sensing something that he couldn't just yet. Even she didn't know that feeling much as well, it was her instinct screaming at her to not let him utter such words carelessly, not within this prison of time. With fury, she released a vertical slash and was met with a dodge coming from her target.

QoH: Arcana Slave!!

Finally ready, the abnormality released a massive laser of concentrated mana, the zenith of her abilities in this form. Channeling everything in her, she let it loose and tried to keep up with the efforts of her assistant, fighting at the front like someone she knew in the past. Memories flashing for a few moments, her tiredness began to emerge once more, losing focus. However, with no energy to keep the laser, her exhausted self witnessed the sad truth: the Sephirah was barely damaged by the attack.

QoH: This... can't.

Trying his best to keep the rhythm, The Central Command team worker could feel the sweats falling down from his face, the nonstop fighting getting to him. His attacks grew slowly weaker and slower, predictable even. Wordlessly watching the scene before her, the strong Color of the past first swung down her blade and once he was busy dodging the hit, she went all out with a burst of rapid attacks made with her scythe, finishing it off with a single kick aimed perfectly at his side, tossing him around like a mere doll.

Gebura: You can never hope to protect anyone like this.

Then, many gunshots echoed in the room, all coming from the same direction. Standing near the bodies occupying the main room, the lone survivor of the Extraction team massacre was holding the pistols of his fallen colleagues, emptying them with accurate aiming. Yet, it was close to ineffective against someone as strong as her, that he realized.

Clerk: Could have just given us wet towels, wouldn't have changed much from those shitty things.

Throwing them away, he clenched his fists, no E.G.Os to his disposal to use. More than done with that pest, the AI readied up a spear manifested from nowhere. With a sharp boost, she launched the projectile at the man, who ducked on the floor at the moment he saw her pull back her arm. Standing up, his black uniform given to the clerks of the Extraction team was covered with crimson now, forced to duck into someone else's personal red pool.

Mumbling to himself, he averted his focus onto the primary opponent, calmly stepping closer at an alarming rate. With no weapons for him to use, he simply charged ahead, no protection and no means of damaging the rampaging robot. Y/N currently trying his best to stand back on his feet after enduring the multiple blows he received, nobody was in a good position to challenge the mighty foe.

Sliding his feet across the floor, he firmly planted his left foot down to get traction and dashed into a rather large pool of blood with his right one, skating on it almost like ice to avoid the first attack aimed at him. However, that quick escape could only get him so far, now forced to sprint for his dear life. Chasing after his footsteps, Gebura switched gears and began following him, not allowing a retreat.

Clerk: Of course NOW you're starting to chase people, it couldn't be before obviously!

Letting out his complaint, he dropped down like a puppet with its strings abruptly cut, rolling away from the mist of rage charging. Avoiding a slash that could have taken his head instantly, a shower of sweats fell down from the lucky one, taking hold of his forehead. Then, the familiar sound of the doors opening reached everyone's ears and after what felt like an eternity, reinforcement arrived.

BongBong: BongBong!

Clerk: ...

Y/N: ...

Red Mist: ...

QoH: ...

Alter Ego: I-I'm here too! God, I'm already tired from all this running...

Stepping out from behind the rather odd one in this facility, the Judgement Bird's E.G.O wielder emerged with an already tired posture, her shoulders slumped over. Then, following her, Hava rushed past and loudly exclaimed with her voice:

Hava: You better get out of the way, the animals are coming!

Alter Ego: The what?

BongBong quietly grabbed her shoulder and pulled the both of them aside, allowing the new contestants to arrive. The first one to appear was no one else but Nothing There, still focused on chasing Hava. Right behind them, Daniel followed just like performers beginning their spectacle, who was also followed by Little Red, emerging once more.

Red: You won once but I'm not giving up.

Daniel: Phew, took us some time to organize this.

While this new development was unfolding, the Queen of Hatred snapped out of her enervation and stood back on her feet, seeing the captain laying on the ground, clearly unable to focus his sight on anything. With no hesitation, she flew at his side and began to fix the injuries on his body.

Clerk: ...I can already feel the paycheck being disappointing with everything happening here.

No match against the E.G.O users who took over, he shrugged his shoulders and looked down at his colleagues before taking a seat, not caring about the situation right now. He wasn't paid to deal with this type of mess, they could get the job done without his useless aid. With that, he took a whiff of the blood in the air and groaned, not the best smell to be stuck with.

Gebura: Nothing will remain.

Battling against the mercenary in red, her point of attention was entirely diverted by said entity, daring to oppose her in some shape or form. Beginning to feel the damages done on her circuits, her mind quickly formulated a plan based on her instincts and nothing else, going back into her own experiences before. Those thoughts were interrupted by the girl with blue hair emptying clip after clip of ammunitions into her body, not worried in the slightest. Her cold nature reflected in her wide eyes, it was like staring at a demon.

From the sidelines, Daniel was using his own ranged weapon against their collective target, only for his help to be completely overshadowed by Nothing There, who now acknowledged the girl to be a true threat. With his mace, he lunged onwards and parried an attack aimed at it coming from the melodious scythe. With his second hand, he pointed it at the AI and shot a projectile at her, the hit so strong that the wall behind cracked. Not about to let this slip, she completely abandoned the mercenary and switched to focus on the Aleph abnormality, throwing attack after attack, only to see it not react to any of them. In retaliation, the creature prepared its infamous sharp blade and swung it down violently.

Little Red: Tch, keep your focus!

Arming herself with her guns, she wildly opened fire on the duo dueling each other. One completely unaffected by the bullets, the second one wasn't as resistant and jumped away in retreat, intercepted by the girl with red eyes, backstabbing her with her own scythe. Completely surrounded, the Red Mist slowly pulled back the black E.G.O and furiously launched it into the ceiling, breaking the structure like a fragile sheet of paper. The throw caused a shockwave to form around her and affected the nearby people. Then, she readied her last weapon and mumbled a single phrase.

Gebura: Let's do this partner.

Nothing There: Goodbye.

Then, the powerful adversary flew into the hole in the ceiling, launching herself effortlessly through the whole facility in order to catch up with Da Capo. Gone from their sight, all witnesses remained still for a moment before Nothing There sprung into action, not willing to give up on its target.

Kneeling slightly, the abomination jumped into the hole and began to rapidly climb up into the darkness inside it, the sounds of it swiftly climbing on its walls reaching the others who were in the department. To see that, the employees could feel a few cold sweats going down from their faces, fearing that one day, they could end up facing a rampaging Nothing There emerging from the ground.

Red: Again, I'm not letting you get away!

Just like before, she sprinted out of the room, leaving her helpers behind to eat the dust. Silence soon falling onto the place, Alter Ego ran to meet the concussed one laying on the ground, finally healed up by the magical girl by his side. Standing up, he was back on his feet just in time to see her jump onto him.

Alter Ego: What happened? I saw you barely conscious on the floor. I-Is everything alright?!

QoH: ...Ahem.

Loudly clearing her throat, the abnormality made her presence known to the girl, only to be met with a sharp glare from the usually kind employee, a complete 180 from her normal attitude. To be met with such a gaze, she frowned back with a hollow gaze, a wicked grin as well.

Hava: Both of you, keep your conflicts to yourselves, we have an AI to defeat.

Y/N: Now's not the time, we need to remain focused.

Grabbing both of them, he sternly reminded them of the current situation. Forced to temporarely put their feelings aside, they nodded back to him. With that solved for now, a pair of footsteps echoed, coming closer.

Clerk: Shouldn't you go after her? You're just wasting time here.

The last clerk of the Extraction team was standing calmly with the bodies of his coworkers everywhere, simply watching the agents remaining behind. With no words said, the captain of the Central Command team marched closer.

Y/N: What about you?

Clerk: Dunno, I could probably slack off since we're definitely not dealing with abnormalities today.

Y/N: ...What's your name?

Clerk: Why do you even care? I'm a clerk.

Y/N: ...

Rolling his eyes, the worker of the current department they were in sighed after seeing the persistent gaze on him.

Clerk: Zeta19, that's my designation.

Y/N: Well, Zeta, I guess today was your lucky day.

Zeta19: Luck in a place like this? I'd say that this is misfortune to be still alive in this hell.

Hava: Wanna go beat up an old Color?

Suddenly stepping into the conversation, the girl with hair covering one of her eyes asked with a wide smile like usual, laid-back even in a situation like this. At the mention of the Color, the clerk's eyes lit up and the end of his lips shifted to a smile.

Zeta19: More entertaining than staying here and doing nothing.

Cracking his knuckles, he took a deep breath and gave them a look saying that he would be waiting for them once they were done. Seeing him walking away, Hava slowly shifted her eyes to the man beside her and asked him a question.

Hava: Do you think that you can still protect those that you care about?

Y/N: ...

He was silent, not willing to admit that he indeed is an incapable. He wished to bury that answer deep inside him but he knew better and so, he spoke up.

Y/N: I never had faith in the first place, I just said the words that I believe in, that I want to protect the people close to me.

Hava: In this world, belief won't get you far. You might have a few holes on your memories but I can tell you that for sure.

Y/N: ...

The woman did not drop her smile and lightly patted his back before finishing the talk between the both of them.

Hava: Come on now, we got a pile of scrap to deal with.

Y/N: Yep... Alright everyone, let's go!

Loudly telling the others, everyone gathered up and made their way back up. On the way, he managed to get the position of the Red Mist on the radio.

Y/N: Hod's department.

Alter Ego: *Sigh* Even more running around.

She whispered that with a weak tone, her shoulders dropping as well in discouragement. Glancing at the girl sighing, the clerk silently tilted his head to the side and returned his attention to the man beside her, the one who approached him, searching in his pockets for something. Being the one at the back, no one was able to see his movements and so, he casually took out the goal of his search and gave it a good swing to remove the dust off of it.

Hava: ?

Moving her eyes, she stared at the Extraction team office worker and observed what he was holding. There, a pair of black gloves with metal bits at the end of each fingers were cleanly removed of any dirt they could have on them, in pristine condition. The person wearing the Silent Orchestra's kit took a moment and then commented on it.

Hava: So, since when did you have this stuff?

Everyone turned around and watched the man at the back of the group, who returned their gaze. At first, he calmly put them on with no sound coming from his side but once that was done, he answered the question.

Zeta19: The Backstreets are rough, I had to get my hands on something.

Alter Ego: Are those...

Zeta19: Nope, I just liked the design, they don't do much except some basic stuff, won't even be able to save me against the monsters here.

Y/N: I don't remember the company allowing equipements coming from outside.

Zeta19: Who cares, it's nothing compared to the fancy "E.G.O" stuff that you all carry around.

Proceeding to go up to the upper layer, they could all witness the path of war left behind by a certain woman in red. Following said trail, they quietly went up to the main room of Hod's department and then proceeded inside. There, more casualties and a ferocious battle between Nothing There and Gebura while the agents were all hiding behind the desks, analyzing the situation from afar.

Zeta19: *Whistle* Free ammo, don't mind if I do!

With no hesitation, he crouched down and began picking up the guns on the floor, the last marks left behind by the office workers who were there. Clenching his fists, the captain rushed ahead and then noticed near the duo fighting each other a familiar weapon, a dark gun that the mercenary could be seen carrying around. With no trace of her around, he heaved a sigh and charged at them, clashing against the Red Mist.

Gebura: Out of my way.

Sensing his approach, she spun around like a dexterous dancer and threw a spear directly inside his shoulder. The force of the hit made the flying object to go through his entire body and drag him along with it, slamming right into the wall. His suit covering a small amount of the damage, the employee still exclaimed a scream of agony, seeing his own body impaled by a foreign item.

Nothing There: Help! Somebody, helllllp!

Noticing an opening on the woman, the abnormality took advantage of it and dashed through her body, damaging her with its sharp fingers. Still continuing, the monstrosity stopped itself near the pinned employee and turned its grotesque head in his direction, the many eyes staring at both the man and the AI. Gulping down his saliva, the captain braced himself and then felt the weapon in his body moving around, causing a second burst of pain to emerge.

Then, the humanoid beast easily pulled out the spear, releasing Y/N from his prison. Dropping on the floor, he gasped for air and watched the Aleph monster mimicking the movements of the Sephirah, impaling her with her own E.G.O before giving a single glance at the one that was struck by it.

Y/N: ...

Nothing There: ...

Not saying anything, it marched back to the unstoppable wave of rage destroying the facility. After all, if the humans of this place were trying their hardest to stop it, someone who wishes to become human would try to do the same, to know what it feels like to be human for once and do just like them.

Meanwhile, the one who caused this fuss was preoccupied with someone else testing their luck, the lone clerk that she could not exterminate. Letting his arms stay by his sides, he silently confronted the unstoppable maniac consumed by wrath. Both leaning closer, she opened fire first with Da Capo, wishing for nothing more than to destroy the object in her path. With quick eyes, the one with no fancy equipements groaned, knowing that he couldn't win in a battle of strength.

...And when you think about it, she was still THE Red Mist, she was still a Color, not someone to take lightly.

Zeta19: Should have taken that stupid insurance while I had the chance.

Nonetheless, he did not back off and faced the unjust being with as much conviction as a broken device, not worth much. Brandishing a fist against the cold surface of the scythe, the small employee gritted his teeth, staggering away from the being overpowering him. Nothing There was making its way over to them, the strongest one beside the grand ordeal herself placed all its eyes onto the woman.

Zeta19: I'm not done, not yet.

Gathering his spirits, he launched himself for a second assault and tossed a mere punch onto the metallic body of the one who pushed him away. Not feeling anything, she prepared the sword that she was clutching in one of her hands but then felt like a shockwave going through her body, her circuits. Standing still, the clerk grinned at the sight while the tips of his gloves began to create sparks, electricity flowing through the texture of the tissue and focusing on the metal parts.

Gebura: Annoying.

Zeta19: Then complain to this guy!

Lowering his body, he dodged a ranged attack coming from right behind his head, Nothing There aiming the palm of his hand towards the both of them. Both meeting each other's gaze, they lunged at the opponent's throat mercilessly, both moving like monsters with bloodlust covering their vision.

While that was happening, Y/N, in a state of recovery felt a chill in his body but not due to the loss of the precious red liquid that he needed to stay alive but rather something even more ominous. In the distance, the sound of bells echoed, chiming the apocalypse. Listening to that sickening melody, he turned his gaze to Alter Ego, crouched beside him while Queen of Hatred once more began to perform her tricks, a chance that she was by his side or else he would have been in a critical condition by now.

Y/N: Who's taking care of that fetus?

Alter Ego: ...Oh no.

Pulling out her radio, she urgently asked for the status of Whitenight, a sweat falling down her face. One thing they didn't need right now was that demon to be released from its prison. If it ever escaped, it would be their end. To respond to her worries, a voice cut her short, a voice that all the employees never heard before.

???: Whitenight is at max Qliphoth.

Alter Ego: ...

???: You focus on your fight.

That was where the communication with the unknown person ended. All left silent, Hava adjusted her sleeves and tossed herself into the flames of the battle going on right now. Zeta19, on the other hand, ran for it and safely hid behind a desk.

Hava: Coming through!

Nothing There: Hey man!

Going past the powerful abnormality that could easily slice her in half, she placed her gaze onto the woman who could harness much more power from the weapons that they were using and swiftly swung her own scythe with a deadly precision. With no signs of fatigue on her face, she courageously revealed a smile to her enemy, who doubled the efforts in order to wipe it off her face.

One swing, dodged. Second swing, parried. It was as if the girl could predict her movements while the tall abomination was still locked onto her as well, leaving her with quite a predicament. However, the truth was that once you give in to anger, your attacks only have the goal to harm others, becoming predictable over the course of time. Feeling her teeth grinding against each other, her focus went to the man now standing back on his feet, the one who boldly claimed that he would protect those close to him.

What a bunch of lies, he can't even defend himself.

Y/N: ...

Feeling the attention given to him, he looked back at the Sephirah of the Disciplinary team, a serene look in his eyes. With his gloves of gold reflecting the lights in the room, his frown grew more fierce. He may not have said anything but the words came inside her mind on their own.

"I'm not giving up."

Gebura: I'll show you that you can't protect anyone with your attitude!

Exclaiming loudly those words, Nothing There landed the final blow once more with its famous blade of doom, cutting a deep gash into her body. Her body unable to substain the damages dealt to it, she collapsed on the ground yet again. At first, the employees along with the office workers of the Training team sighed in relief but that quickly changed when the machine sprung back into action, standing up once more.

With raw power, she held Da Capo and wildly tossed it into another direction, breaking through the walls of the facility yet again and repeating the same action she did once. Readying herself to jump after the black and white weapon, Nothing There recognized that pattern and instead of attacking, it launched itself onto the robot, tackling her onto the floor.

BongBong: *Whistle* Bong.

BongBong, who was quiet for the most part, dropped a low whistle at the sight and raised her gun, opening fire after inserting a new clip of ammo in the chamber. During that time, the mist of blood struggled to get herself out of the abnormality's grasp, now left with only a single a weapon, a weapon that could not damage the behemoth pinning her down.

Gebura: Out of my sight!

Nothing There: Goodbye.

Suddenly grabbing her head, the one trying to mimic humans pulled the arm holding her head and with repeated movements, began to smash her head inside the floor to the point of breaking it and leaving a hole. Each hit resonated in the room and the clerks winced in pain, averting their gaze.

Y/N: Oh... Oh god.

Alter Ego: This is... This wasn't planned.

QoH: Such simple methods to bring justice... even a monster is able to act for the side of good.

BongBong: BongBong.

Lowering her weapon, she once more said her name and nodded to herself, stepping back to enjoy the show. Hava, on the other hand, did not stay idle and made haste to join Nothing There. Since the Red Mist was busy, the employee was easily able to kick the large sword away from her, rolling onto the floor near the doors leading outside the room. With that out of the way, she stepped away and left the Aleph beast to its business.

Nothing There: You got a new voice mail. Goodbye.

Done with pulverizing her head in the ground, he stood up and tightly held her shoulder, thing that she did as well in response. Both standing their grounds, the tension grew more and more stronger with each passing moments until the humanoid broke the air around them with its ranged attack. Launching it silently, it caught the AI by surprise and left her opponent enough time to grab her arm and yank her across the room and into the wall, the foundations clearly not appreciating the sudden violence aimed at it.

Dashing to catch her, it reached with its hand her legs but received a kick straight into its eyes. Still going strong, the Color brushed off the damages she received and glanced at her weapon laying further away. With a new spark forming in her gaze, she attempted to run to it and was met with a firing squad from all the office workers and the agents in the room with ranged weapons: Daniel and BongBong.

Gebura: Worthless, I will destroy this place.

Nothing There: We have all seen... and we failed.

Catching her by the neck, it tossed the mace forming its second arm onto her before shifting it into a more sharp weapon, stabbing her with it. Held in place by the foreign body in her, she grasped the end of the blade and applied pressure to it, breaking it off after a while. With a scream of pain, the abnormality took a step back but rushed right back into the fight, shooting a ranged projectile with its hand and following with a quick slash with its own scythe.

After that, she dropped onto the ground.

Y/N: That was... quite something to see.

Hava: It ain't over yet.

Mumbling that to the group standing in the back, she armed herself, aware of what was going to happen in a minute. The others followed suit and BongBong raised a thumbs up at the Aleph-level entity standing near the Sephirah, which replied with a "Hello".

Then, the circuits sprung back into action yet again. Standing up with newfound strength, the battle was now progressing deeper into its layers, layers that would soon guide this place into total chaos. All employees fearing the worst, a new phase began.
