Y/N: So that's what happened, now I'm here telling you all of this.

I said that while averting my gaze from the ceiling, focusing my attention on Queen of Hatred who simply nodded before scratching her cheek with one of her gloves.

QoH: A memory loss? That's just like me, maybe we both got struck by the same curse.

Y/N: I don't think a witch casted a spell on me, I'm pretty sure that it isn't the case

I said that while narrowing my eyes, not really believing her words. Soon, the alarm warned me that my work was over and that I could leave. I silently got up and dusted off my clothes before opening the door.

QoH: Leaving already?

She asked that with a sad voice. I glanced at her and saw her hands trembling a little while giving me a pair of puppy eyes. I remained frozen and I looked back and forth between the exit and the abnormality residing in the containment unit.

Y/N: I'm not really allowed to waste my time, don't have a choice.

She stood on her feet and walked over to me with slow steps, making me step out of the containment unit before closing the door. I sighed and walked away before returning to the Central Command team. Now that Angela was gone, I was able to return to my assigned team.

Y/N: Got any other assignments Tiphereth?

Tiphereth: ...

She didn't say anything and stared at her desk, documents scattered everywhere on it. I got a little worried and approached her before shaking her right shoulder with my hand.

Y/N: Tiphereth?

Tiphereth: Huh?

She turned her head in my direction and looked at me with shocked eyes. However, they quickly vanished, replaced with a serious expression.

Tiphereth: Do you need something?

Y/N: My next assignment.

Tiphereth: Yes... let me see.

She checked through some files and then gave me a sheet of paper. I grabbed it and read it before looking at the lone Sephirah in front of me.

Y/N: You look bothered by something.

Tiphereth: ...I'm thinking about Tiphereth, I wish that I was able to understand him.

Y/N: ...You should be the one to understand him the best, the both of you were inseparable.

I said that with confidence but she shook her head before looking at her empty hands laying on the desk.

Tiphereth: Tiphereth was always ahead of me, he always knew something that I didn't... I couldn't understand his world, even during his last moments.

Y/N: ...

I started thinking about an idea and looked back at the mourning AI.

Y/N: Do you know where Tiphereth is?

Tiphereth: ...In the storage.

Y/N: ...

I walked away and then took a moment to elaborate a plan, maybe reactivating the second Tiphereth would help her.

Y/N's mind: I'm gonna have to do this at the end of the day though.

I checked my list and when I saw the first assignment once more, I dropped an heave sigh before dragging my body in the direction of the containment unit. Once arrived, I adjusted my uniform and entered the room with my notes.

Y/N: ...

Y/N: Hello... Melting Love.

I said that with a bit of hesitation. I then looked at the work that I had to perform and it was attachment. I raised my eyes to face "her", "it" or whatever this thing is before clearing my throat.

Y/N: So... How are you doing?

Melting Love: ...

Y/N: ...

The awkward silence filled the room while the both of us were staring at each other, not trying to do anything at all. I then coughed to myself and took a step closer before extending my arms.

Y/N: Do you need... a hug?

Melting Love: ...

The abnormality started moving closer to me and while it was doing so, I felt some sweats falling from my face, something was telling me that it was a terrible idea.

Y/N: I...

It moved closer and then started raising it's arm in my direction, clearly trying to grab me. I started to feel nervous and it started showing in my legs, now trembling like leaves.

Intercom: 21 PE boxes successfully produced.

Y/N: *Sigh* Thank god it's done.

As I was about to leave, I saw the abnormality holding something and when I checked, I noticed that it was a giant heart made of slime. I remained silent and watched the abnormality for a moment.

Y/N: Do I need to know where you grabbed that from?

Melting Love: ...

She then placed it in my hands and I gave the abnormality a strange look, not understanding what to do with it. I decided to give it back and then left the containment unit, not wanting to cause a potential disaster.

Y/N: No idea what she wanted to do with it but I don't want to find out.

With those wise words, I continued to my next assignment, which was Red. I entered the room and greeted the mercenary, who gave me a glare with her only eye.

Y/N: What's with that glare?

Red: ...

She didn't say anything but still glared at me like I killed her family. I tilted my head to the side in confusion and saw her left hand thightly holding her gun, ready to shoot me if she wanted to.

Y/N: What's with the aggression all of the sudden?

Red: Did you think that discarding me will end up with no consequences?

Y/N: Discarding you? I just wasn't assigned to your containment unit, it's not my faul-

Red: Too bad, I'm done waiting for you.

She then pointed me with her gun and I took a step back from fear before taking out my own gun. We both stared at each other in silence and I saw her charging at me, leaving me not time to doge the attack.

...She charged into me and we both destroyed the containment door, allowing Red to escape.

Intercom: Warning! Little red hooded mercenary has escaped!

Red: Fuck yea I did and I'm not stopping here.

Y/N: Hey hey!

I yelled at her before attacking her with the dagger carried around my waist. She dodged it and then threw an hatchet in the direction of my face. I ducked under it and saw one of the employees behind me receiving it inside his head, killing him instantly.

Y/N: Why are you so angry?! I didn't do anything!

Red: You left me to rot like everyone else!

She yelled that before rushing at me. I blocked the attack and saw more employees entering the room, trying to support me. She turned around and shot them, immediately killing more employees and caused the others to panic.

Red: ...

She looked back in my direction and I started running away, not capable of fighting her on my own. When I glanced behind me, I saw her chasing me with an immense speed, stopping me from retreating.

Y/N: I didn't do anything, I swear!

Red: Liar!

Y/N: For fuck sake, I'm saying the truth!

I jumepd down the stairs and tried to gain more momentum by running faster but it was futile when the one chasing me was going twice as fast as me. After a while, I felt a bullet going through my uniform along with my body.

Y/N: Shit...

I turned around and shot her in return, a bullet that she blocked casually before grabbing me by the collar of my outfit. I went for a stab and she ignored the attack before stabbing me with her dagger.

Red: ...

Alter Ego: Y/N!

I saw her running inside the corridor and then attacked the opponent with her sword covered in bandages. Red reacted to that attack and threw me against the wall before going full power against the small Alter Ego. She managed to parry the hits and continued fighting her, the commotion brought the attention of more employees and caused a massive panic reaction.

Intercom: Warning! Big bird has escaped containment!

Y/N: ...

I slowly went back on my feet and then saw a flash of light in the corridor. I blinked in response to the blinding light and saw Queen of Hatred standing in front of us.

QoH: Worry not everyone, Magical girl is here to rescue-

She stopped when she saw me bleeding from my wounds, a dagger stuck in my body. Her smile dropped slowly and her happy expression soon vanished, leaving pure anger in her eyes. 

QoH: You're all going to pay.

She grabbed her staff and pointed Red with it before chanting a spell. Afterwards, a giant laser appeared and hit the rogue mercenary in the back, causing her to turn around to see who attacked her.

Alter Ego: Oh no, you're focusing on me!

She yelled that before slashing her in the left leg.  Meanwhile, Queen of Hatred continued attacking her relentlessly, fury in her eyes while doing so. I gritted my teeth and endured the pain before charging at the abnormality. She noticed me approaching and stopped paying attention to the girls, only keeping me in her sight.

Y/N: Eat shit.

I shot her in the eye and it went in her head instead, causing her to fall on the ground. I exhaled my painful breath and stopped the blood from leaking out of the wounds on my body with my hands.

QoH: Y/N!

She ran to me an took out the dagger, giving me a panicked expression.

Y/N: ...Not even that bad... heh.

I dropped on the floor and my consciousness vanished soon after, gone into a comatose state.
