Y/N: Are you feeling like something is watching you?

I glanced over my shoulder in a worry but nobody was following us and it's driving me insane, I knew that a person was observing us but I couldn't see who it was.

Alter Ego: I feel it too but we'll never find who's watching us so we should hurry.

We both entered my room and I locked the door before sitting on my bed, tired of today's shift. Alter Ego sat next to me and then a knocking could be heard, making the both of us look at the door.

Alter Ego: ...I'll go check.

She grabbed her weapon and opened the door before sighing. She then stepped aside and I saw Hava entering with her usual smile and her red eye not covered by her hair staring at me.

Y/N: Oh hey, what are you doing here?

Hava: I'm here to rearrange your brain a little, it seems like you're missing some pieces and I'm here to solve this problem.

Y/N: ...I don't really understand what you're saying-

Hava: You will soon, barricade the door Alter Ego.

She nodded and started dragging furnitures against the door, making sure that it wouldn't open for anything in the world. I felt some sweats forming on my face as I watched her do so and I didn't know if I should be worried about it.

Hava: Scared? Don't worry, it's not for you, Angela will probably try to interfere and it would be a shame to be forced to stop because of her.

Y/N: Why would she-

Hava: You'll understand later, now let's begin the flash memory session.

The girl that I knew gave me a warm smile and saw down with me, grabbing my hand gently with a kind look in her eyes. Meanwhile, Hava took out a monocle and placed it behind her hair hiding one of her eyes.

Hava: We'll go easy on you at first, do you know what happened 11 673 years ago?

Y/N: How am I supposed to know that?

Hava: Simple, you were here, in this facility, we're all trapped in this place until the end of time.

Y/N: What?

Hava: The ones called "Sephirah" are aware of how long we've been stuck here but they wouldn't tell you that information.

Y/N: ...

I nodded and then remembered the feeling of deja vu that I had with Tiphereth, was it a previous memory? I decided to continue listening and I then heard another knocking at the door, instantly giving me shivers.

Angela: Y/N, I know that you are in your room, open the door.

Hava: Sorry rusty junk but we're here for a therapy and we're not leaving for anything else in the world.

She then turned back her attention to me and with a smile, she continued her questions.

Hava: Do you remember Elijah? Kali? Giovanni? Gabriel?

I shook my head, none of these names brought me some memories.

Hava: Garrion? Surely, you must remember Garrion for what she did to you.

Y/N: What did she do?

Hava: ...Should I tell him?

She asked that to Alter Ego and I saw a depressed look in her eyes but she nodded in silence while holding me thightly, like I would vanish if she stopped.

Hava: Garrion killed Alter Ego and Kali while invading this facility, she killed your lover along with the one who taught you how to properly fight and hundreds of people working here.

Y/N: ...

My eyes widened and I turned my head in Alter Ego's direction, was she serious?

Alter Ego: It hurts remembering this.

Hava: She took a full blow from Garrion's attack and fell into a coma to protect you, dying a week later in that state. The shock of losing her caused you to become depressed and you killed yourself soon afterwards.

Y/N: I... I killed myself?

The woman with white clothings nodded with a serious look and when I turned around to see Alter Ego's eyes, I saw her hiding her eyes with her hands, some tears flowing on her fragile face.

Y/N: What happened to Garrion?

Hava: Kali killed her before the little strength that she had left vanished. Ayin extracted her mind and turned her into an AI as a way to torture her.

Y/N: ...Don't tell me.

Hava: She's here with us, trapped in this facility and waiting for the day that she will be awaken.

I frowned at nothing in particular and gritted my teeth, why did it have to end like this? Why are back in this facility then? If we died then why are we breathing and walking around like normal people?

Hava: However, someone else couldn't take the pressure of seeing you die. Carmen, she took your body and ended her life in the same room as your already rotting corpse. She died with a smile on her face, holding you by her side.

Y/N: ...

I then felt a cold shiver and the image of that abnormality in that frozen containment chamber appeared inside my mind, why now?

Y/N: ...I'm feeling dizzy right now.

Hava: Good, that means that the informations are trying to fight back the locks stuck in that brain of yours.

Y/N: ...

Alter Ego: Then, when we woke up again... we couldn't remember each other, we were strangers to each others now.

She looked at her trembling hands and her weak eyes looked at me and I saw sheer distress into them. She grabbed my hands once more and then cleared her throat before continuing.

Alter Ego: I want you to know... I still love you after all this time and I don't want to live without you, I can't take the weigth of losing you anymore, I don't want to forget once more about us.

I could feel some fog in my mind clearing up showing me each times that she died, each times she was screaming in pain and each times that she continued to resist the embrace of death simply to see me once more with a smile on my face, only to perish soon after.

Y/N: ...I'm sorry for forgetting about you.

Hava: Awww, that's adorable, now give each other a big hug!

We both did so and then the door kicked open, breaking all the furnitures and revealing Angela standing in the doorway with a calm, yet aggressive look while keeping her eyes closed.

Angela: Y/N, I told you to open the door. However, it seems like you prefered to listen the lies of an insane employee.

Y/N: ...

Normally, I would believe her since I didn't understand what she meant but the memories of Alter Ego's sufferings forced me to think otherwise and I glared at her before getting up.

Y/N: You're wrong, I believe in them, at least more than I will ever trust you.

Angela: ...

Y/N: Leave us alone.

Angela: It seems like I was too nice this time, let's hope that this will help.

She opened her eyes lightly and when I blinked, I was suddenly faced with a gun pointed at us. Hava took out her weapon and immediately charged at her and when she pressed the trigger, the bullet remained stuck in the clothes, allowing her to push her on the ground.

Alter Ego: Leave him alone!

She helped and beheaded the AI with the sword that she was carrying with her. The 3 of us looked at each other for a moment.

Y/N: Oh my god, we killed Angela, how are we supposed to hide this?

Hava: There's a storage area in the facility, this where they discard the AIs when they become unstable, it'll be a perfect place to hide her.

She grabbed the pieces and left on her own. I looked at Alter Ego and patted her head with a smile on my face. She blushed and gave me a warm hug, happy that the both of us were reunited at last.

Y/N: I'm sorry for forgetting about you-

Alter Ego: I'm sorry too, don't hate me for that.

Y/N: *Chuckle* Even after all those years, you're still able to remain adorable.

Alter Ego: A-Adorable?

She blushed even more and it was harder for me to keep a neutral face, making me laugh. She pouted at first and then used her hat to hide her embarrassment.

Alter Ego: ...If you're happy then I am too so please, keep smiling for me.

She said that while lowering her hat a little from her face, allowing me to see her eyes looking at me.

Y/N: Don't worry, it won't be hard to be happy with you by my side.

...We then closed the door once more and prepared ourselves for our next day, ready to face it together, closer than ever now.

Alter Ego: I love you.

Y/N: The same applies for me, sweet dreams.
