I continued running around, doing the same as the other employees until I reached the Training department once more, ready to tell Hod what I'm thinking about what she's doing.

...For killing Alter Ego.

Y/N: ...

I stormed inside the room and saw her laughing to herself like last time, a large smile on her face. I frowned my eyes and walked to her before thightly grabbing her uniform, focring her to get up.

Hod: Oh Y/N-

Y/N: Shut up!

I pushed her into the wall and then charged her even more against, pointing my gun at her head. However, her smile remained even though she had a gun pointed against her.

Y/N: I know you're doing this! Stop this right now!

Hod: Me? Oh no, you're wrong Y/N, you're just lacking training, that's all-

Y/N: Don't fuck with me, I know damn well that it isn't my fault!

Intercom: In chaotic cries of fear, somebody shouted "It's the monster! Big terrible monster that lives in the dark, black forest!"

I then heard a loud roar echoing in the whole facility, causing me to protect my eardrums with my hands in order to not become deaf and looked around in panic.

Y/N: What the hell is going on?!

I then noticed a large egg in the middle of the room, slowly shaking like something was inside.

Y/N: ...

I took out my weapons and started attacking it, attempting to destroy it to see what was inside. However, it was stronger than I expected, confusing me since it looked like a normal egg.

Hod: This is it Y/N, show them what I taught you.

Y/N: Shut up.

I quickly told her that while trying to remove the bandages from the thing in front of me, no success.

...

....That thing won't fucking break.

Y/N: God damn it, why isn't it opening?!

I then immediately blacked out for some reason.

Dana's P.O.V.

What the hell is gonig on, why is everything dark here?!

Dana: Anyone?! Is anyone here?!

???: I don't want to die!!!

I saw another employee running towards me, arms raised in the air and a panicked expression on his face. He walked past me and when I checked what he was running from, I saw a monstrosity.

???: Help!

I took a step back and immediately started sprinting at full speed away from the creature. My legs skipped some steps in the staircase to reach the upper level quicker and saw more employee running around with fear engraved in their eyes.

???: The light is calling me...

I spotted Y/N slowly walking around, arms raised in the air like a zombie, following something. I tried to stop him but I then felt something going through my body and when I lowered my eyes, I saw the tip of a scythe piercing me.

Dana: F...fuck.

My grip on reality quickly vanished and I fell into the darkness surrounding me.

Y/N's P.O.V.

I snapped back to reality and blinked a few times in confusion but before I could do anything, I was then crushed by something big, turning my vision black.

Angela: You died, once more.

Y/N: Huh?

I looked around in confusion, wondering what the hell happened. I then glanced back in Angela's direction and saw her smiling at me, giving me shivers.

Y/N: What's so funny?

Angela: Funny?

Her smile dropped.

Angela: I was simply observing, that's all. Now, you have to go back.

Y/N: What if I don't want to?

Angela: Have you forgottten that you are not the one making the decisions here?

...

........

???: *Sobs*

I opened my eyes and saw that I was back in my room and someone was crying. I turned my head and saw Alter Ego crouched in a corner, loudly crying to herself.

Y/N: Alter Ego?

She stopped and raised her head to look at me, 2 stream of tears flowing on her face.

Alter Ego: Y-Y-Y/N.

She got up and jumped on me before tightly embracing me. I got confused by her sudden behaviour and as she tried to say something, she bursted into tears once more before stuffing her face into my uniform.

Y/N: What's going on?

Alter Ego: I-I-I-I-I... I saw you die!

Y/N: Huh?!

I was shocked, does she remember about what happened?

Y/N: W-What do you mean?

Alter Ego: *Sobs*

She wouldn't say anything, crying loudly with a devastated look in her eyes, like she saw her loved ones getting slaughtered in front of her.

Y/N: ...Shh, calm down, it'll be fine.

I slowly tapped her head, placing my hand into her hair and watched her calm down. She did so after crying her remaining tears and then looked at me with a pained expression.

Y/N: It'll be alright, okay?

Alter Ego: ...I'm s-sorry, I was.... I was... I was-

Y/N: You were scared that it would happen, I know, we all had a nightmare like that once in our life.

I comforted while saying that but it wasn't improving her mood, even worse, she was about to burst into tears once more.

Y/N: Hey Alter Ego, why don't we stay here a little longer?

Alter Ego: ...?

Y/N: There's no emergency right? We can... wait for you to calm down then we'll go to work after.

...I knew that Angela wouldn't like that idea and we will probably be interrupted by her presence BUT at this point, even a small break before facing the hell that will happen in a few minutes is enough for me.

Alter Ego: F-Fine...

I thightly held me and her face slowly started to become calmer with each passing minutes. I closed my eyes and hummed a little to myself but loud enough for the girl close to me to hear.

Alter Ego: ...

She started humming too and we remained like that for a while, not caring about what was happening outside of our rooms.

...I hope she won't have to experience this again.
