I raised my eyes and slowly turned my head before smiling at the person in front of me...

Y/N: I would follow you but I have to finish this first, I don't want to get in trouble because of it.

I said that calmly and returned my attention to my work, I needed to complete it. As I continued to write, I then saw hands briefly in my vision and then everything turned dark.

Y/N: *Sigh* You won't let me finish right?

???: Nope.

Y/N: Fine, I guess I could see what you are talking about.

She removed her hands from my eyes and I turned around to give her a smile.

Y/N: Where are we going?

???: Somewhere I like to go when I'm too stressed.

Y/N: Lead the way.

Y/N's mind: Why do I feel like a piece of shit all of the sudden?

Not in the term of being an asshole but more in the term of of being a bag of trash, something in bad condition.

Alter Ego: Hey Y/N, are you feeling all right?

Y/N: Mostly... but I'll be able to work.

The girl beside me gave me a worried look when I told her that, probably scared of seeing me fainting in the middle of the shift. I gave her a smile and I saw all her worries in her eyes vanish and a smile appeared on her face.

Alter Ego: If you say that you can work then I'll believe you.

We both parted ways and I made my way to the Central Command team where I saw more employees minding their own business. I did the same, waiting for the day to start but when it did, the lights started blinking for a moment.

Employee: What was that?

...And once more, the music of hell started, making all of us look at each other in fear. Each time this alarm started playing, something would go to shit so it probably won't be different than before.

Y/N: Everyone, stay calm, if we continue our work then nothing will happen, we need to keep working.

I quickly organized the whole department since Tiphereth was nowhere to be seen once more, is she slacking off too? I thought she hated Netzach because he was slacking off but now she's doing the same.

???: Now everyone watch carefully how to deal with abnormalities, we wouldn't want to cause an incident right?

Y/N: Huh?

I looked around and heard Hod's voice echoing in the facility before feeling extremely tired. Then, I started moving on my own and entered La Luna's containment room against my will before starting to write some observations.

Hod: Remember to take as much notes as possible for the future employees going in the abnormality's containment room.

My body continued writing before leaving. Once outside, I was back in control and I looked around in confusion. I then rushed to Hod's department in order to make sure that it was just my mind playing tricks on me.

Y/N: How is that even possible?

I quickly reached the Training department and saw that nobody was in the department at all, no workers nor employees, only Hod smiling to herself while sometimes laughing for no reason.

Y/N: Hod!

I yelled her name and she raised her head to look at me. She waved at me and got up before giving me a hug.

Hod: Y/N, you shouldn't be late for your training, come on.

She forced me to one of the tables and started explaining the basic of abnormalities, something I already knew.

Y/N: Hod, there's no need, I already know that information.

Hod: H-Huh? Then how about-

Y/N: I know it Hod, you can't teach me something I don't know if I already know everything.

She closed her mouth and I saw her hands starting to shake but I don't know if it was from anger or sadness.

Hod: Y-You know already?

Y/N: Hod, I didn't come here for a training, I'm here-

Hod: B-But everyone needs some training-

Y/N: Hod, I don't need it, I know how to deal with abnormalities.

She remained silent and I saw her mouth trembling before looking at me with sad eyes.

Hod: You don't... need me?

Y/N: What?

Hod: I want to be a good person, I want to warn you about the danger abnormalities represent but you don't want to listen to me!

Y/N: I don't need it, I can take care of myself.

She sadness vanished when I said that and a pair of blank eyes replaced her previous begging eyes. After that, she coldly talked back to me in a way that scared me.

Hod: Trust me, you will need my help... and I will be waiting with open arms for you to come back.

Scared of her, I ran out of the room and quickly returned to my department. I took a moment to catch my breath and looked around, only to see employees running around, panicking.

Y/N: What's going on?!

I saw a large humanoid figure walking around, holding a cane in it's hand. Although it was wearing a mask, I immediately recognize the woman in the room conataining a piano.

Y/N: La Luna.

I took out my weapons and charged at her before attacking. She turned around and started fighting back with the cane she was holding.

However, for some reason, I was way slower than usual. I continued attacknig and then saw her charging me. I dodged her and once more, I felt a lot more slower than I usually am but I still managed to avoid it.

Y/N: What the hell is going on.

Hod: Now observe how to properly deal with an escaped abnormality!

I gritted my teeth and continued to attack the woman and saw her vanish into the ground. I remained dumbfounded for a moment before snapping back to reality.

Y/N: This is probably Hod's doing.

I frowned at that thought and tried to return to the Training department abut I saw Alter Ego running in my direction with a worried look on her face.

Alter Ego: Run Y/N!

Y/N: Huh?

I then saw a red humanoid entering the department through the staircase, staring at us with its multiple eyes.

???: Help! Help! Oh my god, heeeeelp!

I slowly walked in our direction and I followed Alter Ego's advice and ran as fast as I could. We both went down a floor and looked behind us. As expected, it was following us and it isn't going to let us rest.

Y/N: Shit-

I turned around and bolted for the next staircase along with Alter Ego.

???: Hello!

I then heard Alter Ego's scream reaching me, making me stop in my track. I turned around and saw her on the ground, a pool of blood forming around her as she weakly raised her head.

Y/N: !

I tried to run to her but the abnormality reached her and one of its arms turned into a scythe before raising it.

Alter Ego: R-Run Y/N!

It then beheaded her, killing her for good. I took a step back and turned around to the staircase, my mind filled with horrible thoughts.

Y/N's mind: She's... she's dead.

The simple thought of that brought tears into my eyes as I continued going down until I couldn't anymore. I turned around and went back up the stairs, effectively running past the abnormality while I was forcing myself to keep going, even though the person I trusted the most died in front of me.

???: How can I help you?

Y/N: ...

I continued running and I was back into the upper levels and then every lights turned off as I heard an ominous voice echoing through the facility.

Intercom: A long time ago, in a warm and dense forest lived three happy birds.
