Y/N: Alright, time to work with Scorched girl...

I entered the room and saw the little figure of the abnormality, sobbing to herself like usual. I took out my notepad and started writing on it... I was mostly doing crosswords.

Y/N: A word of 5 letters to demonstrate a sad emotion.

I looked at the abnormality and it was sitting beside me.

Y/N: ...Tears, I'll go with that for now.

*Beep*

Y/N: Oh come on, I'm just starting my crosswords...

I sighed to myself and then felt something climbing my legs. I looked down and saw the Scorched girl approaching me before dropping a match in my mouth like it was a cigaret.

Y/N: Hey thanks.

She didn't answer and went back to her original spot. I stood up and left the room in a good mood, even though I just had a nightmare about everyone dying 15 minutes ago.

Y/N: Maybe this isn't so bad after all, I get to chill with abnormalities and all I'm asked to do is writing reports.

I stuffed the match back into my mouth and walked back to the Information department. Alter Ego soon came back from her assignment with the Forsaken Murderer and after that it was Dana's turn to come back from her work with the Plague doctor.

Dana: That thing is weird, why a Plague doctor outfit?

Alter Ego: Who knows, maybe he wants to look cool? Either way, I don't really care.

We all laughed a little about her remark and stayed for a while inside the room until the intercom went on.

Intercom: Warning! Unknown entities detected inside the facility!

Y/N: Again?

We all got back on our feet and walked outside to see a little clown walking in our direction.

Y/N: Ew, that's disgusting to look at.

We all took out our weapon and started to beat it down. After some hits, it's body started to convulse and it exploded, splashing us with it's blood along with some burning liquid.

Alter Ego: That thing hurts, get off!

She shook her arms around and the liquid fell on the ground. We did the same and we were almost back to what we looked like before, the blood was still on our clothes.

Dana: I hope a shower will be able to get rid of that scent, I don't want people to find me disgusting.

Y/N: I don't think you smelling a little will stop guys from flirting with you in my opinion, especially since you're cute.

She blushed and it made me laugh a little. We went back inside the room and waited for a bit but no orders were coming in.

Alter Ego: Weird, did something happened?

Y/N: No orders for more than 30 minutes...

Dana: ...

We all looked at each other and shrugged before hearing the intercom telling us that our shift was over. We all took our stuff and walked out to the dorms.

Dana: Also what's with that match?

Y/N: Huh? Scorched girl gave it to me.

Alter Ego: I don't think you need to keep it in your mouth though.

Y/N: Why not? I think it makes me look more tougher.

Dana: Hard to take you seriously with that giant hairpin from Beauty and the beast.

Y/N: Hey, it's a gift so I'm not throwing it away.

Alter Ego: At least it fits him in my opinion, he can be tough sometimes but the opposite can also happen.

Y/N: Thank you for being honest.

Alter Ego: No problem.

The rest of the walk was silent and we went to our rooms. Once inside the room, Alter Ego spoke up once more.

Alter Ego: A new department will be open tomorrow, do you want to go check it out?

Y/N: Why not, I hope the next Sephirah is not as strict as Yesod.

Alter Ego: We'll see tomorrow.

With that thought in mind, we both went to sleep.

The next day...

Y/N: What, that's a change of contrast from the Information team.

I walked around and smiled at the change of style in the new department. We both walked in the main room and we were greeted by some employees along with who I suppose was the Sephirah.

???: Welcome everyone to the very beginning of the Training team, I hope you are all excited to be here!

Y/N: She seems to enjoy herself, that's a good thing.

She looked around and spotted us on the other side of the room. She smiled at us and gave us a sign to approach. We both looked at each other and shrugged before stepping closer.

???: I'm Hod and it's a pleasure to see all of you gathered here, I hope we can get along.

Y/N's mind: We'll see about that.

She gave us a brief explanation of what the Training team is all about and then we were allowed to leave. The both of us stayed and it was only the 3 of us in the room.

Hod: Are you here to apply for the Training team?

Alter Ego: We are...

She glanced at me and I did a quick unsure expression before going back to a neutral one.

Alter Ego: ...Just watching for now.

Hod: Could you tell me your names? I'm curious.

Y/N: Alter Ego and Y/N.

Hod: Oh Y/N, I was waiting to meet you!

Y/N: Why?

Hod: You were changed from your previous place to my department.

She raised her hand and smiled.

Hod: I can't wait to start working with you, welcome.

I grabbed her hand and we looked at each other for a moment before stopping.

Y/N: I guess I'll see you in a few hours.

Hod: Yes, I hope we can get along.

We both walked out of the room and made sure that we were far enough from the department before speaking.

Alter Ego: Are you going to be able to manage the whole department by yourself?

Y/N: Let's face it, it's definitely impossible but I didn't want to put her in a bad mood.

Alter Ego: Do you like her?

Y/N: She's nice and seems to care about employees, I don't want to break her morale for now.

Alter Ego: That's nice.

Y/N: Anyway, I'll see you at the end of the day so please don't die on me.

Alter Ego: Can't do that promise but I'll try. The same goes for you.

Y/N: We'll see about that.
