Lance. That was pretty name. It sounded kind of foreign. Keith liked it in a strange sort of way, but he didn't show it. He had to play uninterested in him.
“Mhm… ” Kogane looked at him bored and came back to his food.

His bowl finally have became empty. Breakfast checked. Now it was time for some cleaning.
Keith stood up and went to the kitchen sink. Before he reached it, Lance appeared there, blocking the way.

“You don't talk too much, huh?” He smiled and took the bowl from Keith's hands. That was a plot twist. Not very often demon who haunts you and is trying to kill you, helps you with house chores. But who would refuse an offer like this? Not Keith for sure.

“Since I am here and you are alive, I can at least help a little.” Flirtatious smile popped on demon's face. That was… strange and uncomfortable. Why would that Bastard flirt with his victim? Also with the person of the same sex...
Keith rolled his eyes and stepped back a little.
“Thanks.” He left the kitchen without another word.

Many responsibilities waited for Keith this day. He started with laundry and then he vacuumed the house.
When everything was done, he sat by the desk and turned on the laptop.

At that moment he remembered about Lance. He stood up and rush to the kitchen, but demon wasn't there.
Did he leave? Or maybe it was imagination after all. No. Sink was empty and dishes were done.

So where was he? Has he gone to… hell?
That wasn't something Keith should worry about now. More important was how to get rid of that creature for good.
First thought was to call Lotor but that stupid brat wouldn't help him. After all he put Keith in that situation.
In addition it would have been admission of a failure.

After some brainstorming he came to conclusion. Pidge and Matt were the most reasonable choice. Pidge is rational and she always has good explanation for everything, so maybe she would solve this problem. Matt is on way different level of solving basically anything. On one hand he is intelligent and very talented and on the other hand he is quite immature for his age and he has crazy ideas, that can be surprisingly useful.

After a call, Matt was ready to go and help his friend. His little sister wasn't that enthusiastic but agreed to come too.
When they arrived, all of them, together walked around the apartment. Younger sibling was bored and disappointed in some point, but her brother was very careful and focused on his investigation.

“Ok Keith, so where is that demon?” Pidge asked a little sarcastic. “I clearly can’t see him anywhere.”
Keith wanted to say something, but he has been interrupted by Matt.
“You can’t just simply see the demon. If he is haunting Keith, that means only our emo boy can see him.” Matt grinned. He was talking like a real pro demons hunter. In reality he just watched supernatural. That works like Doctor House. If you watch this show too much, You would feel at least like a medicine student. Same thing about Matt. But with demons...

After an hour of investigation languorous Pidge fell asleep on the couch. Matt clearly lost his enthusiasm too so with resignation on his face he went to the kitchen to make some tea. Also tired Keith sat on the chair heavily, looking at peaceful Pidge.

Gentle smile showed on his sometimes too emotionless face.
But this expression didn’t last long, for some good reason. Above girl’s head appeared a flowerpot. Keith perfectly knew the reason of this occurrence. Lance. It was freaking obvious.

Boy slowly stood up and approached the couch, trying to not provoke the devil. At this moment demon showed himself, and dropped pot with devilish grin.
Fortunately Kogane’’s good reflex saved his friend and spared her trip to the hospital.

Less luckily Matt was watching whole incident in deep shock. A cup that he held, fell on the ground with loud crash. Pieces of porcelain went everywhere, and tea splashed floor and walls. This didn’t make Keith happy. He had to clean devil’s mess, and he felt it was not going to be the last time.

It took a moment for Matt to stop overreacting. He talked something about priest, exorcism and... ghost hunters? Pidge was confused, sleepy and she had enough of her brother for this day so she scolded him and decided to go home.

Keith totally understood her. But in his veins floated lots of anger too. This emotion definitely was prevailing at this point, that’s why he threw a tantrum.
“Where are you?!” He screamed without worrying about ‘what neighbours will think’.
“Don’t mock me you fucker!” Kogane looked around carefully. Not a sign of Lance showed to his eyes.

But maybe? In the corner of the room something was off. Human rushed there and grabbed through the air. His palm met with something, so he tightened his grip on it. Then he pulled the object, just to throw it on the floor.
“Who's laughing now, huh?” Kogane started provoking now visible demon.

Fiend stood up in his own magical, disappear-appear way, to defend himself.
“I don't really like uninvited guests” Lance shrugged.
That made Keith furious. Now he couldn't even invite anyone to his own household?? No way!
He set off towards devil, ready to punch him as hard as he could. But the evil force was much faster so his fist met only with the wall. A pitiful moan slipped out of his throat.

Resigned Kogane sat on the bed, watching his palm closely. It was hurting as hell and little drops of blood started to showing up on the bruised skin.
Imperceptibly Lance was sitting next to him, looking at his hand too.
“You should probably treat the wound.” He hinted casually. Devil’s neutral tone and behavior infuriated Keith again. How dare he be so calm, after all he did?

Without thinking, boy pounced on the demon and pinned him to the bed, with intention of beating him up.
However Lance did not give up so easily. With a surprising strength for such a thin person, fiend turned them over and caught Keith's hands above his head. This prevented older boy from moving and throwing fists blindly in the air.
Let me go” Keith hissed through teeth and tried to escape violently. At this moment murderous gaze pierced Lance trough, which only made him smile. Devil considered it more as cute, than as scary.

“I will, if you calm down, mullet boy.” Nickname that demon used, was really effective in mocking Kogane. He decided to continue, because it was very entertaining to see Keith boiling with anger under him.
“Be a good boy, could you?” After these words spoken like to a child, fiend laid gentle kiss on his nose, smiled oddly and disappeared. He just simply vanished in the air, like he used to do. What an annoying brat...
