Finally Lotor agreed to the bet and passed Book to Keith. Now when it came to actual thing, boy was a little nervous, but hid it very carefully from people around. Minute ago he was so cocky and now what? He was a chicken? No way.

Keith grabbed volume and pulled it closer. Air gulped down his throat and first words started to coming out his mouth. All friends sat in completely silence, watching him carefully.
Spell was actually not in English, but some weird Latin-like language. It was hard to pronounce and it took quite long to read.

Not so soon Keith was ending last sentence. The atmosphere was heavy and full of suspense. Everybody held their breaths… But nothing happened. That was kind of disappointing? Boy was expecting some earthquake, flickering lights or flying objects. None of this things took a place there. He snored and closed book with a noise.

“Yup, my assumptions were accurate as always.” Pidge summed up, pushing up her glasses with a pointing finger.
“So Lance...” Hunk looked at Keith curiously. “What are you gonna do about Lotor’s debt?”
Rest of the group were also looking interested.

“I don't know yet.” Keith smiled strange at Lotor, but he was not really affected by it and this whole situation. He was just sitting and observing people, with stupid expression on his annoying face. It even seemed like he was satisfied with these results. Weirdo.

Quickly after that unfortunate circumstance, everybody were chilled and mood came back to earlier state. Nothing really changed. Keith was not feeling anything weird or supernatural. Everything was perfectly fine.
Hunk and Pidge were grumbling about inability to collect candies, Allura and Lotor were talking about chemistry, and Shiro was laughing with Keith.

“Lotor.” Allura suddenly changed the subject. “Where did you take that book from?” She looked like it was bothering her for some time. Lotor smirked.
“That’s my mother’s book” He shrugged. “I found it recently and wanted to test.”
The girl wasn’t sure about his last words. Despite this she kept silent. That was not her business, right?

After some hours, few of them got tired and decided to come back to their places. Keith was exhausted too, so he left and walked to his modest apartment. Not too long upon entering the house, he was lying on the bed and falling asleep. He didn’t even bother showering himself.

In the morning Keith woke up with sensation of being watched. Did Siro came to visit him unexpected? Probably not. He opened his swollen eyes to find something that shouldn’t be there.
Above him in the air was floating a stranger. Quite weird stranger. By the way, who the hell he was to fly?

Keith didn’t know what to do. This situation was confusing and fucked up. Should he scream or stay calm? Maybe he is still sleeping? At least he had his knife under the pillow to protect himself.

“What the heck is happening?” these words were almost spelled by him. He rubbed his eyes and took a careful look at creature above him again. The person smirked and approached to Keith’s face.

“You shouldn't be so surprised” Monstrosity poked Kogaine’s forehead. “After all, you’ve made me appear here, cutie.”

“I am going to kill Lotor, I promise.” He thought and pushed away other boy’s face. Involuntarily his legs made him stand and step back a little.
