15Chapter 2: A Life Hack In Getting A Daughter
"Talk"

'Thought'

"I might be a Demon, but I'm still an old single man with specific needs and desires, like having my own Daughter to love and spoil!"

The egg demon known as Lord Sullivan continues to whine and complain about not having a daughter, Glynda Goodwitch could only watch in extreme confusion and now understands nothing that is going on.

"Not to mention I'm just jealous that my friends have something to brag about that I don't, IT REALLY MAKES ME UPSET!"

Egg Sullivan then fell on the floor, throwing a tantrum and getting red-faced angry about it, which the red-haired cat butler came by to pat his shoulder to comfort him

"Y-You want me to be your Daughter?..."

Glynda, trying to ignore the Demon Lord's weird personality and focusing instead on what he was actually asking of her

"Yes, but I won't force you to become my Daughter if you really don't want to."

Sullivan, now returned to his normal self and using a tissue provided by his cat butler, wiped away his tears. Though what he said once again surprised Goodwitch.

"But I want to let you know now, that if you do become my Daughter, I shall treat you to a life of luxury and comfort, no longer will you struggle with life, no need to feel pain of those that want to hurt you, and I promise, I cross my heart and hope to die, I will never, ever, EVER, betray you in any way, I would soon rather sacrifice my life to you before I even process the idea of betraying you."

Despite being the literal Devil, Sullivan spoke with such sincerity that it was impossible for him to lie, which honestly made the adult woman feel very conflicted, not because she didn't trust him but because she trusted him.

'Then again, does it even still count as a choice? I'm basically just choosing between suffering in Hell for all eternity or becoming a Daughter to a Demon, heh...'

But despite these uncertain feelings, it wasn't a difficult choice for Glynda to make. "Become tortured in Hellfire" or "Be adopted by a devil", even if he was lying about treating her kindly, it was still the logical move either way

"... I accept, Master Sullivan..."

Once Glynda accepts the Demon Lord's request, even signing some documents to be legally classified as his official daughter, the egg devil form came back as he started to jump and hop around while holding up the legal documents very happily

"YAY! I HAVE A DAUGHTER NOW! I'M SO HAPPY!~"

After Sullivan was done celebrating, he snapped his fingers and suddenly Goodwitch found herself tucked in a queen-size bed; she didn't react this time; she was already getting used to all the craziness that had happened to her today.

"Now then, as your Father, I must recommend that you rest, of course if you wish to stay up all night to play on your phone and talk about boys with your other lady friends, I won't stop you~"

Sullivan had already started treating the human female like his actual child, including embarrassing her and making her blush bright red like any good father would.

"But please do, I know you've been through a lot already, and I'm sure a good night sleep will wash away all those troubles in your mind, ok?~"

But Sullivan also showed concern and gentleness toward her, like a real father would

"As you wish, Master..."

Though Glynda just listened to him like a submissive slave, following his words like laws and doing whatever he said, as if she didn't have any choice, which did make him flinch and frown at this

"Good night sweetie, I hope you have some pleasant dreams~"

But Sullivan tried not to show his slight displeasure, as he stood up from the bed he was sitting on, turned off all the lights, and then walked out of the room, wishing her a good night before closing the door.

'Being betrayed by Ozpin, ending up in Hell, and becoming a Daughter to a Demon? It already feels like a really bad dream...'

And once Glynda was finally alone, she immediately started crying, as if all the emotions she was holding back-not to mention processing everything that she had just experienced today-came flooding out in full force. Tears fell out of her eyes like a small waterfall, and her sobs were loud enough to be heard outside the room, by both the Demon Lord and his cat butler.

"... How long do you think it will take until she actually calls me Father?..."

Sullivan knew that she needed space, but he couldn't just leave his adopted child alone like this, so he just stood outside the door and listened to her cry, which made his heart ache greatly

"I'm sure once she feels welcome and trusts you enough, she will not hesitate to say those word to you."

The cat butler simply said that in hopes of making his Devil Master feel more hopeful and optimistic

"Hm..."

Sullivan thought about what his cat butler had just said as he looked out the window, more specifically at the two moons floating above them in the sky. He simply narrowed his eyes at it before aiming his hands at them and, with a simple flick of his fingers, he shattered them both. This sudden display of power undoubtedly shocked and horrified everyone who lived in Hell, though the cat butler only tilted his head in confusion.

"And how should I make her feel welcome and start trusting me now?..."

The next few chapter will be about Glynda settling in her new home, while also trying to discover her new purpose in life, since she is now stuck in Hell now with no way out, though if you want to know specifically time line stuff, it is three months before Iruma appears and the school starts, I'm open to suggestions and ideas if you have any~

(OK, so Glynda will not be a demon girl, HOWEVER, she will be very talented with Magic, my excuse being that thanks to her training, having Aura, and being in a world that is somewhat magical, well, I wouldn't say she would be experienced, but she definitely has potential thanks to what she knows and where she used to live at before living in Hell)
