♡vic pov♡

we sit awkwardly in silence for two hours,i want to say something but I know i'll just say something really mean or uncalled for,i have my reasons for doing so,i don't like people knowing I care.the bus comes to a stop and I follow kellin out, we grab our bags and we look for a tent with our names on it.

"oh look they put my name first" kellin says with a smirk
"oh shut it" I say and we put our bags inside I pick up a paper that's at the bottom,

tent: 23

day 1:

stay in tent and talk until lunch

12: lunch (table 23)

1: go to the blue cabin and play some games

2: red cabin

3: green cabin

4: outside movie

5: early dinner

6: smores by the campfire

7:free time (look out at the stars)

8: in tents not aloud out'

it reads I sigh,all of this is stupid its only 11 so we have an hour until lunch.

"looks like we will be alone for an hour" kellin says as he zips up the tent.

"don't want the bugs to come in" he says and I nod

"why do you hate me?" he asks, well kellin its because I care about you,but I don't like caring for others,and I hate humans so it makes me feel like I shouldn't like him.

"I don't know" I lie

"then why do you treat me like shit?" he asks raising his voice

"calm down kellin, you are making me sound like a really mean person" I say

"calm down!? no, and vic you are mean to me and I wont calm down until you give me a real answer on why you hate me!" he yells at me.

"because I actually care about you" I say really softly, I could barely hear myself, i know kellin can hear because he looks at me in shock

"and how is that a bad thing?" he asks confused

"because im vic Fuentes,and I don't want people to actually think I care about someone like you,dont take that in a mean way,you just wouldn't understand" I say softly.

"someone like me?" kellin says with hurt all over his face.

"that's not what I meant kellin" I say softly and I see him look away,we are both seated on the nice hard floor of the tent besides the air mattresses and I can hear him trying to muffle his tears, I make my way over to him and put my arms around him.

"I'm sorry,if you want to know what I mean,wait until lunch" I say.

I cant believe im going to do this, im going to expose myself to a human. im going to put my fangs out and im going to hope for the best.too late to turn back now,i already promised I would explain to him at lunch. he nods and his tears stop, I move the hair from his eyes and I lean down and without thinking and kiss his forehead.

"im sorry" I say moving back.

"no don't be,kiss me again" kellin says in a soft whisper,he turns to me and I cup his face in my hands and I kiss his forehead again. we sit there with him in my arms until we hear a bell that signals that its 12,

"whatever we say or do,stays between us,okay?" I say and he nods

"okay" he says and we get out and go into a small building and make our way to table 23.

"you said you'd show me" he says softly

"wait what?" I ask, does he already know im showing him my teeth.

"you said you would show me what you mean" he says

"o-oh oh ya" I say and I scratch the back of my neck. food is placed in front of us on trays with our names on it we say our thank yous before the guy nods and walks away.

"is it the fact that we eat differently that makes me different?" he asks and I shake my head

"look at this" I say and I open the canteen to show red blood

"energy drink?" kellin asks and I shake my head.

"Kool-Aid?" he asks

"what am I five" I say pouting, earning a little laugh out of kellin and that makes me laugh. I look around all the tables are spaced out by a lot so im sure no one will see.

"look at my teeth,dont say a word or make a sound,i'll explain in private" I say and he just nods

"I don't know how that'll make me different,unless you have some kind of gold tooth" he says softly. I open my mouth and show him my teeth,then I take a drink of the blood and I wipe my teeth so the blood wont stain. and I feel the fangs coming down, I smile at him with my real teeth showing and then I suck them back in and close my mouth. he doesn't say a word. just great vic,you are scaring him away. I watch his face drain of all color.

"no,you are not,no,those are fake" he says shaking his head lightly "this is a dream" he adds

"no this is as real as it gets" I say as he takes a sip of water. he almost chokes on it,he looks at me wide eyed and coughs a little

"T-this is a d-dream" he stutters and I shake my head slowly and I look down at my food.

"I'm going to go talk to tony" kellin says really fast before speed waking away.

♡Tony pov♡

"T-tony" kellin stutters as he gets to my table where I'm sitting with Austin, "can I talk to you in private" he quickly adds noticing Austin was sitting there

"ah ya sure" I say and I get up and follow him outside of the little building.

"So what's up? You seem ah scared" I ask

"you are going to think I'm insane, and I don't know I think this is a dream, vic said he was going to show me why he disliked different people and he's a vampire? They don't exist though, he showed me his teeth and what if he try's to drink my blood what if he-" kellin starts then I cut him off

"kellin" I say softly

"what if he kills me?" he asks

"kellin" I say a bit louder and he looks at me and I smile I take a deep breath show my teeth and let the fangs come out then I suck them back in.

"You too?!?" Kellin says putting his hands up

"yes, kellin don't be scared, we are well vegetarian, only drink animal blood, well our little group are vegetarian in any case, we won't hurt you, I promise" I say and he nods

"okay, I'm sorry for freaking out, I just, shit it's just that I hate Halloween and ah shit" he says closing his eyes

"shit I'm in love with a vampire" he says opening them I laugh a little

"your Bella and vic is your Edward" I say and he hits my shoulder

"I'm not the girl" he says sternly

"sure..sure" I joke and he glares at me.

"You can't tell anyone what we are" I add and he nods

"I promise I won't" he says and we walk into the building. I watch as he slowly starts to make his way shakily to vic.

♡Kellin Pov♡

i walk back and sit in front of vic not knowing what to say all i do is try to eat. after we are done and the next bell rings we go off to find the 'blue cabin'

"which one do you think it is?" vic asks pointing to two huge cabins,one green....one blue.. "i think its that one" he adds pointing to the green one, earning a laugh from me and he laughs as well then we go into the blue one,we sit down at a table that has connect 4 set up. we act like little kids as we place the chips in, i got the black chips while he got the red.

"fuck yes! connect 4 me" vic says and i give him a weird look.

"no,vic,dont say that again" i say slowly as i move the thing at the bottom that drops all the chips and we gather our color.

"i'll say what i want to" he says

"aye kellic" i look to my left to see Mike

"kellic?" vic asks confused lifting an eyebrow up

"tony told me about you too,so i made a ship name" mike says as if it was an obvious thing.

"we aren't a thing though" i say softly and mikes lips curl into a smile he bends down

"you will be" he whispers in my ear, his warm breath making me cringe. mike then walks away and sits at a table with Alan.

"do you want to be a thing" vic says catching me off guard

"a-ah i-don't know" i studder. im still a little freaked out by this im in love with a vampire thing,im scared of him, but yet im not.but im paranoid that with me making one bad choice i'll be dead for good,i dont care if tony says they dont drink human blood,what if that changes,what if one day i find vics fangs deep into my neck,killing me. the bell rings taking me out of my thoughts and we make our way to the Red Cabin without talking to eachother, we sit down on the floor like everyone else is,i see hayley looking at me,olivia is next to her not paying attention to anything, hayley smirks at me and her gaze goes from me to vic then back to me,i just send a slight smile.

"so we are all here sitting next to someone we dis like,right?" mr.floyd asks and i watch as everyone nods in agreement "i want you to look at that person and find one thing you like about them, their nose? their arms? anything" he adds and he starts walking around and asking people. i look at vic and he looks back at me,i like everything about him.

"so kellin,what do you like about vic?" mr.floyd asks me as he comes over, i think a little harder on what i should say

"his hair,i like his hair" i say and vic smiles

"and you vic?" mr.floyd asks

"i like kellin's eyes" vic says and mr.floyd smiles

"good job boys" he says before walking off to the next pair.

"why do you like my eyes?" i ask

"why do you like my hair?" vic asks

"because i like the way it always tries to find a way to cover your eyes but it just doesnt,its perfectly there" i say softly

"i like your eyes because of all the different shades and tints of beautiful colors and how clear they are,and god i want to kiss you right now" he says whispering the last part. A side smile slowly covers my face as I try so hard not to blush only to see Vic smirking.

"you're blushing" he says and I roll my eyes

"you are hallucinating" I say serious. he shakes his head he moves closer and his hot breath is on the side of my face close to my war

"quinn, I might be half dead but I'm not stupid" he whispers making chills go down my spine,i May or may not have forgotten about what I have found out today.and now I really wish I hadn't remembered.the bell rings and we make our way into the green cabin,a rush of cold air pushes past me as I walk in, making goosebumps appear on my skin. I look around and I see tony, he looks over and gives me a small smile, I return it before looking at vic, his face blank. i look over at tony in concern he just shrugs at me and continues talking to Austin.i groan in frustration, looking at Vic who's still just looking into thin air.

"vic?" I ask

"vic" I say a bit loudly and he snaps out of his thoughts to look at me

"I'm sorry" he says softly and we go and take a seat as some teacher I've never had in my life introduces himself.

"I'm mr.gold" he states

"what we are going to be doing is leaning about each other, so just talk to your partner about yourself and if anther teacher comes in, just pretend you are on topic,I've had enough with teenagers for the day" he adds sighing. honesty is always best I guess. I'm surprised to hear people are doing what they are post to be doing and I think mr.gold is as well, he had a look of pure shock on his face that slowly went away after two minutes, he just picked up his books and read.

"you know my biggest secret so whats yours?" vic asks breaking the silence between us

"my mom drinks alot,and she is currently getting help,and my moms boyfriend likes to get high and he smokes alot" i say softly not making eye contact

"im so sorry" vic says and i look up at him.

"its fine,it isn't your fault" i say and he nods.

"when did you become a you know what?" i ask and he looks at me weirdly

"i was born this way" he says

"oh,really?" i ask confused "yup" he says popping the p.

"so your parents are both vampires?" i ask and vic nods

"but my mom wasnt born one" he says softly

"whats the story?" i ask trying to get more information,i see vic's face look paler than it looked before.

"ah my dad's sister turned her because my dad didn't want to" vic says softly

"why did they turn her?" i ask

"because well she wanted to" vic says softly and then we hear a loud ring signalling the end. we all walk outside and i take the paper out of my pocket.

"outside movie" i say and vic and i walk over to where they have this huge projector and screen, i find mike and we walk over and sit down,vic on one side of mike,alan on the other, i sit next to vic, i look up to see Tony and Austin walk over,austin taking a seat next to alan and tony making his way to sit on the other-side of me.

"guys!" i hear jaime say loudly

"you guys know my partner Justin, justin this is,Alan,Austin-they are also new-mike,vic, and that's kellin,hes also knew, and thats tony" he says pointing at all of us, justin smiles and says hi-i swear he winked at me-then he sits down next to tony and jaime follows and sits on the other side of tony. everyone else takes their spots and it gets darker and the words 'alice in wonderland' comes on the screen,i hear alot of groans and some cheers. its the cartoon version,the original, if it was the newer one with real people im sure everyone would've been a bit more happier. i feel vic's hand slowly brush over mine, and before i know it he slowly intertwines our fingers.

...

the movie ends and we make our way over to dinner and sit at our table.

"im still wondering why we couldn't have been 22 or 21 or 24" vic says earning a laugh from me

"23 is so much of a better number" i joke and food is placed in front of us.

"will you ever try normal food?" i ask and vic scrunches his nose

"that's not normal for me,remember? and the answer is never, i will never try that" he says disgusted, i roll my eyes.

"one day i'll make you try it" i say as i stuff a spoonful of rice in my mouth.

...

vic refused to have smores,so i took his. we all are now siting by the fire. just talking amongest eachother

"i cant believe vic turned down smores" tony says and vic shakes his head

"i cant believe you ate one of those things" vic says. everyone starts leaving to their tents early or are laying down to watch the stars before we have to go back into our tent. vic and i are one of the ones who are currently laying down.

"those stars make like a dog shape if you conect them" i say and i look at my left to see vic looking at me.

"you arent even looking at the stars! they are beautiful" i say and i see a smile creep onto vic's face. "not as beautiful as you" he whispers and i feel a blush come onto my face,its dark out so i hope vic hasnt noticed. i want to lean in and kiss vic so badly. i star finding myself moving my face closer to his. i hear footsteps and i sit up and so does vic. i see jaime making his way over to us,justin getting closer.

"why the fuck would you want to look at stars? you are such a loser" vic spats at me and i see jaime grab vic's shoulder

"dude,why are you so mean to kellin? i thought you passed this! you guys seemed to be getting along!" jaime says and justin takes a seat next to me. im still in shock from vic's lashout at me.

"kellin,theres something about you that makes me interested" justin whispers,his hot breath on my neck.

"i know you hide stuff and im going to figure out what it is" he adds before standing up and winking at me.is this just how he flirts? or does he get stuff in his eyes a lot?

"kellin,if vics mean to you,let me know,i'll deal with him" jaime says in a harsh tone so vic can hear.then he walks away. vic gives me a look of simpathy then a horn blows and we all go into our tents, vic zips it up behind me.

"you know i didnt mean that,im sorry" vic says and i just nod

"ya of course" i say and i take my shirt off and toss it with myself

"woh im not really all for the first night together sex but if you insist" vic says

"i cant sleep in dirty clothes vic" i say rolling my eyes as i strip down to my boxers

"right,i knew that" vic says as he takes of his own shirt,i go into my bag and take out some pajamas and put them on. then i slip into my sleeping bag. i watch as vic goes into his own and before i know it i find myself falling asleep.

i wake up and pack all of my stuff and head out for the busses before vic does.i find justin leaning against a poll.. smoking,i make my way over and stand next to him."do you have one to share?" i ask and he turns his head to look at me,he smirks,puts the cigarette between his teeth and pulls out his pack passing me one.

"always a spare for you kellin" he says, cigarette still between his teeth. i put the cigarette in my mouth and he takes out his lighter and lights it for me. i take the cigarette out of my mouth and blow the smoke and he does the same.

"thanks" i say and he nods

"i was right kellin, there are things about you people dont know" just says.

"not really,what would you like to know?" i ask and he smirks

"when i have something specific i'll let you know" he says softly and we stand there smoking for a little while more until we see people starting to come closer. i drop the cigarette and step on it and i take out a piece of gum and put it in my mouth

"want some?" i ask holding the pack.

"can i have the one in your mouth?" he asks

"one from the pack or nothing" i say sternly

"okay sorry, too much,alright i get it,i'll take one from the pack" he says and i give him a piece and he puts it in his mouth

"lighten up kells" he says before vic comes over to us,

"see you around kellin" justin says before walking away.

"why did you leave so early?" vic asks

"i just wanted to get fresh air" i say softly and i grab my bag and we make our way to the busses.
