SUBURBIA
"It hasn't changed a bit." Mitch said, looking out at the scenery as we sat in out old hang out spot. "I know. It's exactly the same. Like it was when we last came to it what, 2 years ago?" I replied. "Yeah, it's been a while. Time goes by fast." He said, resting his head on my shoulder. "It does. We really haven't been here for 2 years? It feels like a couple months." I said. It's been 3 years since Mitch and I moved. We came down frequently in the first year, but after that out parents kept coming up to LA, so we haven't been down in a while. "It does. How much longer are we here?" He asked me. "3 more days." I said, brushing Mitch's hair out of his face.
We sat there for a few minutes, before I heard Mitch's quiet voice. "We should probably get back to our parents before they call the police." He said. "Probably. See you later?" I said. "Yes. You're coming over for dinner, remember?" He said. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that. And I'm taking you somewhere after." I said. "Where?" He asked, a small smile tugging at his lips. "You'll see... Bring a jacket." I said, before running away, laughing as I heard his steps running after me.
God, I love this Blue Neighborhood.
A/N: So, this is the last chapter of Blue Neighborhood. I was going to do the deluxe version, but I couldn't think of anything to fit for any of the songs that wouldn't throw off the story. If you have any ideas, tell me, cause I'd love to add the rest of the songs in here! And tell me if you have any suggestions on what album I should do this for next! And also, thank you for reading this story, it means a lot, and this was so, so fun towrite and challenge myself with. Hopefully I did an OK job?
