for him.

"Here it is." Mitch told me as he pointed to a big building on our left side. I turned into the parking lot and parked in the first spot I could find. I got out after turning the car off and joined Mitch at the trunk, grabbing boxes. "I'm scared." Mitch told me. I kissed his head. "So am I, Mitchie. But we'll be okay." I told him. We officially started dating the day after we graduated, so It's been 2 weeks. Maybe we can hold onto forever. "Scott?" Mitch said, snapping me back into reality. "Yes, Mitchie?" I replied. "Can you close the trunk?" He asked me. I closed the trunk, before taking a few boxes from him. We walked into the lobby, before spotting the elevator.

I pressed the button, then walking inside as it opened. Once we got to our floor and located our door, and after the struggle of unlocking it after we realized neither one of us had gotten the keys, we opened the door to out new home. We both set out boxes down, before I walked over to Mitch and tackled him in a hug. "It's our new home!" I yelled. "Yes it is, now shush before we get noise complaints out first day here!" Mitch replied, laughing. "Come on, let's go get the rest of the boxes." He said. "Fine." I said, following him out the door. Half an hour later, we had gotten all of the boxes into the apartment, before we realized that we had no furniture.

"You've got to be kidding me." Mitch said dramatically. "What are we going to do about furniture? It's not like we can afford to buy any!" Mitch said. I laughed and pulled him into my arms, before sitting on the floor. "It'll be fine, Mitch. One thing at a time." I said gently. "Let's just get some food." I suggested, before pulling out my phone. "Chinese?" I asked him. "Sure." He replied. "Hey Scott." Mitch questioned. "Yes?" I replied. "Where are we going to sleep? We don't have any beds. Or a couch." He stated. "Oh yeah. Um, I have no clue." I replied. "I guess we'll have to huddle together." Mitch said, climbing off of me. "I guess so. Now let me order our food." I said.

After I ordered the food, we started to set up what little we had while we waited for our food, before eating with plastic silverware that we'd brought. "Wait, I brought an air mattress!" I exclaimed. "Why?" Mitch asked. "My mom threw it into one of the boxes with the pump since we forgot that we didn't have furniture." I replied. "God bless her." Mitch said as I found it. I laid it out and plugged in the pump before starting to blow it up. "That's loud!" Mitch yelled over the pump. "It's better than sleeping on the floor!" I yelled back. After a few minutes, the mattress was fully blown up, and Mitch threw a blanked over it, as well as a few pillows.

We both jumped onto it, before Mitch got under the blanket, me joining him a few seconds later. "This sucks." Mitch said tiredly. "It'll be fine. Besides, it could be worse." I said. "True." Mitch said, before yawning. "You're adorable." I said, tapping his nose with my finger. He smiled, before yawning again and looking up at me. "Why are you staring at me?" He asked me. "It's your fault for being so cute." I teased. "I love you." He replied. I smiled. "I love you too."
